Rhizopus microsporus has been used for centuries in the production of oriental fermented foods,but the species is also known as a toxin producer and from severe human *** study the diversity and species delimitation of Rhizopus microsporus,48 isolates from the reference collection of the CBS-KNAW Fungal Biodiversity Centre,comprising nine environmental,ten clinical,and 23 foodborne strains,in addition to six strains from unknown sources and representing all existing varieties of the species,were *** diversity was based on the internal transcribed spacer(ITS),and on a part of the actin(ACT)and translation elongation factor 1-α(TEF)*** in physiological properties were assessed including temperature *** morphology was studied,mating type tests were performed,and MALDI-ToF profiles were *** and food-associated strains as well as members of different varieties mated successfully and consequently they belong to a single biological *** differences did not match with any other parameter *** on these results the varieties of Rhizopus microsporus are reduced to synonyms.

After controls,including engineering and management,theﬁnal way to control noise is to use hearing protection *** ofastandardized questionnaireregarding investigatingworkers’use of hearing protection devices on the basis of the BASNEF behavioral model,the present study was conducted to investigate the effect of health education based on the BASNEF model on the use of hearing protection devices in workers of an auto-mobile manufacturing plant in *** quasi-experimental and prospective intervention study was performed on 80 workers at an automobile manufacturing plant who are exposed to noise levels above 85 decibels and donot use hearing protection *** this study,40 people working in a cast iron foundry were selected as the inter-vention group,and 40 working in aluminum casting were chosen as the control *** were ana-lyzed at the beginning of the intervention and three months after the intervention in the intervention and control *** was no signiﬁcant difference between the intervention and control groups before the *** was a signiﬁcant difference between the intervention and control groups after the intervention in the area of knowledge.A signiﬁcant correlation was observed between the intervention and control groups after the inter-vention program in all areas of the BASNEF educational model except behavioral *** this study,the effect of educational intervention on the use of hearing protection devices was investigated,and with the educa-tional intervention,it was tried to get help from inﬂuential people and enabling factors in education based on the BASNEF *** results showed that the educational intervention based on the BASNEF model can improve the knowledge of individuals in both the intervention and control groups.

Amino-functionalized SBA-15(SBA-Pr-NH2) has been used as a new basic nanocatalyst in the one-pot synthesis of spirooxindole derivatives via the three-component condensation reaction of isatins,activated methylene reagents,and dimedone in an aqueous ***-Pr-NH2 has been established as an efficient heterogeneous nanoporous solid basic catalyst(pore size of 6 nm) that can be easily handled and removed from the reaction mixture by simple filtration,and also recovered and reused without noticeable loss of reactivity.

A Case of Megaloblastic Anemia with Thrombocytopenia

Megaloblastic anemias are a group of hematologic disorders in which abnormal DNA synthesis causes blood and bone marrow disorders. This type of anemias occurs as a result of folic acid deficiency or impaired vitamin B12 absorption. The prevalence of this type of anemia is highly variable worldwide and megaloblastic anemia caused by lack of vitamin B12 (cyanocobalamin) is rare during pregnancy [1]. In this case report, we report follow-ups conducted for a pregnant 33-year-old woman, G2, P1, with a history of previous natural childbirth who attended Kamali Hospital due to labor pain associated with severe thrombocytopenia. Although this woman was injected 10 units of PLT and also vitamin B12 (cyanocobalamin), folic acid and corticosteroids in the course of treatment, her platelet level has not yet returned to normal levels after 6 months and she is still being treated.

Effect of Conjugated Estrogen in Stress Urinary Incontinence in Women with Menopause

Menopause is one of the natural stages of life of women that is associated with instability of vasomotor, flushing, sweating, anxiety and depression, urogenital atrophy and urinary problems. The age range of physiological event is between 48 - 55 years old. With regard to the role of genetics, nutrition and geographical conditions of the age of menopause in Iranian women is lower than and among 46 - 53 years. With the increase in life expectancy in recent decades, duration of menopause is increased and almost involved a third of the life of women so special issues of this era have had more attention. Since menopause is not the end of the life of a woman and keep her physical and mental health and problems resulting from the process of menopause such as urinary problems and incontinence will lead to improve the quality of life in this period. Many studies have tried to find a therapy for postmenopausal women with stress urinary incontinence using hormone. So this article seeks to examine the effect of conjugated estrogen in stress urinary incontinence of menopausal women with using the library method. The survey showed that by starting menopause, decreasing estrogen causes atrophy of mucosa of urogenital and the lining of the urethra and bladder, estrogen causes to maintain muscle tonicity. Also sacral nerves are also rich in estrogen receptors and by estrogen deficiency, elasticity of the urinary system decreases. Estrogen deficiency causes excitability of nerves and frequency of urine. So estrogen can increase the resistance of the urethra, bladder sensory threshold and sensitivity in Adorno in smooth muscles of the urethra and the rest of detrusor.

Identification of medicinal plants effective in infectious diseases in Urmia, northwest of Iran

Objective: To identify the medicinal plants effective in infectious ***: Initially, we obtained a list of herbalists and traditional healers from Food and Drug Deputy. Direct observations and interviews as well as collection of herbarium specimens of indigenous medicinal plants effective in infectious diseases of urinary tract,reproductive, digestive, respiratory and skin systems were performed. This study was conducted through questionnaires and interviews; the questionnaires were distributed among traditional healers and simultaneous interviews were also run. The plants were herbariumized, herbarium specimens were authenticated, and their species were determined by using reliable flora and other sources. Finally, the data were input into Excel2010 and analyses were ***: Out of the studied plants, 35 native medicinal plants belonging to 17 families were effective in the treatment of various diseases and infections. In this study, the Lamiaceae family had the highest frequency of plants for the treatment of *** healers of Urmia in 24% of cases used the leaves of medicinal herb to treat patients. In 68% of cases, they prescribed medicinal herbs in the boiled forms. Most medicinal herbs showed therapeutic effect on the digestive ***: Traditional medicinal sources, valuable knowledge of traditional healers in Urmia, the scientific investigation of the effects of the herbs offered in this study and their effects in traditional medicine may provide a good source for new drugs in modern medicine.

Flash floods are responsible for loss of life and considerable property damage in many *** susceptibility maps contribute to flood risk reduction in areas that are prone to this hazard if appropriately used by landuse planners and emergency *** main objective of this study is to prepare an accurate flood susceptibility map for the Haraz watershed in Iran using a novel modeling approach(DBPGA)based on Deep Belief Network(DBN)with Back Propagation(BP)algorithm optimized by the Genetic Algorithm(GA).For this task,a database comprising ten conditioning factors and 194 flood locations was created using the One-R Attribute Evaluation(ORAE)*** well-known machine learning and optimization algorithms were used as benchmarks to compare the prediction accuracy of the proposed *** metrics include sensitivity,specificity accuracy,root mean square error(RMSE),and area under the receiver operatic characteristic curve(AUC)were used to assess the validity of the proposed *** result shows that the proposed model has the highest goodness-of-fit(AUC=0.989)and prediction accuracy(AUC=0.985),and based on the validation dataset it outperforms benchmark models including LR(0.885),LMT(0.934),BLR(0.936),ADT(0.976),NBT(0.974),REPTree(0.811),ANFIS-BAT(0.944),ANFIS-CA(0.921),ANFIS-IWO(0.939),ANFIS-ICA(0.947),and ANFIS-FA(0.917).We conclude that the DBPGA model is an excellent alternative tool for predicting flash flood susceptibility for other regions prone to flash floods.

Antioxidant and antifungal activities of two spices of mangrove plant extract

Objective:To evaluate the antifungal and the radical scavenging capacity related to antioxidant potential of ethanol and water extracts of leaves of Rhizophora mucronata(***)and Avicennia marina(***)mangrove plant species against five postharvest pathogenic ***:In vitro assessment of antioxidant and antifungal activities was evaluated in this present study for both aqueous and ethanol extracts prepared from leaves of *** and *** antioxidant activities of these mangroves were evaluated by using reducing power and 1,1-diphenyl-2-picrylhydrazyl assays with butylated hydroxytoluene and L-(+)-ascorbic acid as ***:The result showed that the antioxidant activities of all extracts increased with increasing concentration of ***,the ethanol extracts of both species showed the highest antioxidant *** tests were then carried out by the disk diffusion *** ethanol extracts of both species showed antifungal activities on Penicillium purpurogenum,Penicillium chrysogenum,Penicillium notatum,Aspergillus niger,Alternaria alternata and Penicillium ***,none of the water extracts exhibited antifungal activity on the studied *** all the pathogens,tested Aspergillus flavus was the most resistant *** concentrations of extracts from *** and *** showed different amounts of control against tested fungal ***:This study indicated that mangrove species has natural antioxidant and antifungal properties.

Application of Nanoparticles in Quartz Crystal Microbalance Biosensors

Nanoparticles are playing an increasingly important role in the development of biosensors. The sensitivity and performance of biosensors are being improved by using Nanoparticles for their construction. The use of these Nanoparticles has allowed the introduction of many new signal transduction technologies in biosensors. In this report, a comprehensive review of application of nanoparticles in Quartz Crystal Microbalance biosensors is presented. The main advantages of QCM in sensing fields include high sensitivity, high stability, fast response and low cost. In addition, it provides label-free detection capability for bio-sensing applications. Firstly, basic QCM’s design and characterization are described. Next, QCM biosensors based on modification of quartz substrate structure and their applications are digested. Nanoparticles and their utilizationin analysis are then illustrated. These include Nanoparticles in bio applications that cover Nanoparticles in Quartz Crystal Microbalance biosensors.
