Effective control of roof strata is very important for trouble free operation and regular face advance in mechanised longwall workings. It is now technically possible to exploit coal seams in difficult geomining conditions with the help of newer innovations in longwall face machineries. A reliable assessment of caving behaviour and support capacity requirement helps in selecting supports of adequate capacity and making operational preparedness for timely and confident solution of impending *** paper reviews the mechanism of roof caving and the conventional approaches of caving behaviour and support requirement in the context of major strata control experiences gained worldwide. The review shows that a number of approaches are being used for advance prediction of caving behaviour and support capacity requirement in a variety of geo-mining conditions. The theoretical explanation of the mechanism of roof caving and the design function of roof supports have been worked out through staged development of approaches, their evaluation followed by their gradual modification and enrichment of synthesized findings. This process is still continuing with consistently improved understanding through growing field experiences in the larger domain of geo-mining conditions and state-of-art strata analysis and monitoring techniques. These attempts have contributed significantly to improving the level of understanding and reducing the gap of uncertainty in planning and design of longwall operation in a given geo-mining condition.

parkinson's disease(pD) is one of the most debilitating brain diseases. Despite the availability of symptomatic treatments, response towards the health of pD patients remains scarce. To fulfil the medical needs of the pD patients, an efficacious and etiological treatment is required. In this review, we have compiled the information covering limitations of current therapeutic options in pD, novel drug targets for pD, and finally, the role of some critical beneficial natural products to control the progression of pD.

In the present investigation an attempt has been made to demineralize the Gondwana coal of Gopinathpur top and bottom seams of Mugma mine, Raniganj coalfield, Dhanbad with the help of pseudomonas mendocina strain B6-1. The change in the amount of ash yield and decrease in the concentration of selected minor elements like Na, K, Mn and Ca and environmentally sensitive selected trace elements such as Cd, pb, Se, Ni, Mn, and Zn have been studied as a function of time of bacterial treatment as well as with variation in the bacterial biomass. After 28 days of bacterial treatment there was variable amount of decrease observed in ash yield as well as in the concentration of minor and trace elements. The removal of the elements was further enhanced with the increase in the bacterial biomass from 10 to 25 mg/mL. Due to over exploitation of superior grade coals in the country, the remaining coal resources, available for current use, are inferior in grade and contain high level of impurities and there is ample scope of bio-beneficiation of these coals using bacterial biomass.

The lignite samples collected from Giral lignite field of Barmer basin have been subjected to petrological investigation. The data generated has been discussed to understand the evolution of the paleomires of these lignites. The present study reveals that these low rank C coals are chiefly composed of huminite group macerals, mainly telohuminite and detrohuminite, while liptinite and inertinite group macerals occur in subordinate amounts. Not much variation in the maceral composition from Seam-I to Seam-VIII has been observed. Barmer lignites are characterized by a very high GI （〉10） and moderate TpI indicating topogenous mire in the basin which was permanently flooded. The GI and TpI values and the petrography-based facies critical models indicate that these lignites originated mostly under wet forest swamp to clastic marsh having telmatic to limno-telmatic conditions with a moderate rate of subsidence and a very slow fall in ground water table. Further, the GWI and VI values are suggestive of mesotrophic to rheotrophic hydrological conditions having the dominance of herbaceous to marginal aquatic vegetation. There were spells of periodic drowning of peat especially during the formation of Seam-VII. Moderately high concentration of calcium in these lignites along with the presence of framboidal pyrite indicate enhanced sulphate-reducing bacterial activity present in carbonate and sulphate-rich waters in the basin during peat formation.

A new stable numerical method,based on Chebyshev wavelets for numerical evaluation of Hankel transform,is proposed in this *** Chebyshev wavelets are used as a basis to expand a part of the integrand,r f(r),appearing in the Hankel transform *** transforms the Hankel transform integral into a Fourier-Bessel *** truncating the series,an efficient and stable algorithm is obtained for the numerical evaluations of the Hankel transforms of order ν>−*** method is quite accurate and stable,as illustrated by given numerical examples with varying degree of random noise terms εθ_(i) added to the data function f(r),where θ_(i) is a uniform random variable with values in[−1,1].Finally,an application of the proposed method is given for solving the heat equation in an infinite cylinder with a radiation condition.

A mathematical model is proposed in this paper to study the transmission and control of *** mathematical model is formulated using system of nonlinear ordinary differential *** model includes disease-related parameters such as contact rate,disease-induced death rates,immigration rate and transition rates along with parameters for control measures such as implementation of social distancing practices,isolation and quarantine *** the stability analysis of the model,it is shown that if the social distancing is practiced by the large number of susceptible population,then the disease will not spread,and it may eventually die ***,it is derived from the analysis of the model that if most of the infected populations are isolated or quarantined,then the spread of the disease can be eventually ***,from the analysis of the model,it is observed that if there is constant immigration of asymptomatic infected persons,then the disease will continue to spread and will remain *** controlling the disease,two more parameters,that is,vaccination and testing rates,are introduced in the original mathematical model and from the numerical analysis of this model,it has been shown that the control strategy involving vaccination and testing in combination can have synergistic effect for minimizing the COVID-19 infected cases.

Objective:To evaluate the hepatoprotective potential of ethanolic(50%) extract of Ziziphus oenoplia(L.) Mill(***) root against isoniazid(INH) and rifampicin(RIF) induced liver damage in animal ***:Five groups of six rats each were selected for the *** extract at a dose of 150 and 300 mg/kg as well as silymarin(100 mg/kg) were administered orally once daily for 21 d in INH + RIF treated *** serum levels of glutamic oxaloacetic transaminase(SGOT),glutamate pyruvate transaminase(SGpT),alkaline phosphatase (SALp),and bilirubin were estimated along with activities of superoxide dismutase,catalase, glutathione S-transferase,glutathione peroxidase,and hepatic melondialdehyde formation. Histopathological analysis was carried out to assess injury to the ***:The considerably elevated serum enzymatic activities of glutamic oxaloacetic transaminase,glutamate pyruvate transaminase,alkaline phosphatase and bilirubin due to INH + RIF treatment were restored towards norma) in a dose dependent manner after the treatment with ethanolic extract of *** ***,the decreased activities of superoxide dismutase,catalase, glutathione S-transferase and glutathione peroxidase were also restored towards normal dose *** addition,ethanolic extract also significantly prevented the elevation of hepatic melondialdehyde formation in the liver of INH + RIF intoxicated rats in a dose dependent manner. The biochemical observations were supplemented with histopathological examination of rat liver ***:The results of this study slrongly indicate that ethanolic extract of *** has a potent hepatoprotective action against INH + RIF induced hepatic damage in rats.

The study presented in this paper is in continuation with the paper published by the authors on parallel fuzzy proportional plus fuzzy integral plus fuzzy derivative （Fp ＋ FI ＋ FD） controller. It addresses the stability analysis of parallel Fp ＋ FI ＋ FD controller. The famous＂small gain theorem＂ is used to study the bounded-input and bounded-output （BIBO） stability of the fuzzy controller. Sufficient BIBO-stability conditions are developed for parallel Fp ＋ FI ＋ FD controller. Fp ＋ FI ＋ FD controller is derived from the conventional parallel proportional plus integral plus derivative （pID） controller. The parallel Fp ＋ FI ＋ FD controller is actually a nonlinear controller with variable gains. It shows much better set-point tracking, disturbance rejection and noise suppression for nonlinear processes as compared to conventional pID controller.
