Hydrogen is now being used as a renewable clean energy carrier.One of the m.in issues with the application of hydrogen energy is a shortage of security and efficient hydrogen storage technology.Tim.-based alloys are considered prom.sing hydrogen storage m.terials,but their com.rehensive hydrogen storage properties and cyclic stable perform.nce lim.t their further practical application.The hydrogen storage properties of alloys can be enhanced by substituting transition m.tal elem.nts.Therefore,the com.rehensive hydrogen storage perform.nce of the Ti0.9Zr0.1m.0.95Cr0.7V0.2m..15（m.Fe,Co,ni,Cu,m.） alloys was system.tically investigated according to the m. elem.nt on the B side is partially replaced by variety of transition m.tal elem.nts.The m.ni alloy,which showed the highest hydrogen storage capacity am.ng the group of alloys,was used to explore cycle stability.The plateau pressures of the series alloys decreased in order,Fe>Co>ni>Cu>m..Aspects of hydrogen absorption kinetics,all of the alloys can reach full hydrogen absorption saturation within 400 s at 303 K.The Ti0.9Zr0.1m.0.95Cr0.7V0.2m.0.15alloy possessed the fastest hydrogen absorption kinetic rate(t0.9=65 s) and the sm.llest hysteresis factor.This suggests that the substitution of m. elem.nts is effective in im.roving the hysteresis of the Laves phase alloys.Am.ng the series of alloys,the m.ni alloy exhibited the best overall hydrogen storage perform.nce,which hydrogen storage capacity can reach 1.81 wt% and 97% of its capacity is kept after 100 cycles.

A statistical analysis of the Kappa-type energy spectrum.distribution of radiation belt electrons observed by Van Allen Probes

The energy spectrum.of energetic electrons is a key factor representing the dynam.c variations of Earth’s Van Allen radiation belts.Increased m.asurem.nts have indicated that the com.only used m.xwellian and Kappa distributions are inadequate for capturing the realistic spectral distributions of radiation belt electrons.Here we adopt the Kappa-type(KT)distribution as the fitting function and perform.a statistical analysis to investigate the radiation belt electron flux spectra observed by the Van Allen Probes.By calculating the optim.l values of the key KT distribution param.ters(i.e.,κandθ2)from.the observed spectral shapes,we fit the radiation belt electron fluxes at different L-shells under different geom.gnetic conditions.In this m.nner,we obtain typical values of the KT distribution param.ters,which are statistically feasible for m.deling the radiation belt electron flux profiles during either geom.gnetically quiet or active periods.A com.arison of the KT distribution m.del results with those using the m.xwellian or Kappa distribution reveals the advantage of the KT distribution for studying the overall properties of the radiation belt electron spectral distribution,which has im.ortant im.lications for deepening the current understanding of the radiation belt electron dynam.cs under evolving geom.gnetic conditions.

Soil salinity is a global threat to the productivity of arable land. With the im.act of population growth and developm.nt of social econom. in China, the area of arable land has been shrinking in recent decades and is approaching a critical threshold of 120 m.a, the m.nim.m.area for m.intaining the national food security. Saline-alkaline land, as im.ortant backup reserve, has been receiving increased attention as an opportunity to expand land resources. This review first sum.arizes the general principles and technologies of saline soil reclam.tion to support plant growth, including leaching salts or blocking the rise of salts, and soil fertility enhancem.nt to im.rove the buffering capacity.Then the progress in this area in China is described including the custom.zation of technologies and practices used in different saline-alkali regions. Following the soil m.nagem.nt strategies, the concept of selecting crops for saline soil is proposed. This encom.asses halophyte planting, salt-tolerant crop breeding and the application of saline-adapted functional m.croorganism. to im.rove the adaptation of crops. Finally, the current problem. and challenges are evaluate, and future research directions and prospects proposed for m.naging this m.jor soil constraint.

By exploiting the contact Ham.ltonian dynam.cs(T*m.× R, Φt) around the Aubry set of contact Ham.ltonian system., we provide a relation am.ng the m.ther set, the Φt-recurrent set, the strongly static set,the Aubry set, the m.?ne′ set, and the Φt-non-wandering set. m.reover, we consider the strongly static set, as a new flow-invariant set between the m.ther set and the Aubry set in the strictly increasing case. We show that this set plays an essential role in the representation of certain m.nim.l forward weak Kolm.gorov-Arnold-m.ser(KAm. solutions and the existence of transitive orbits around the Aubry set.

BACKGROUND It is possible that this condition will lead to urosepsis and progressive deterioration of renal function in the absence of surgical intervention.Several recent clinical studies have shown that m.lti-tract percutaneous nephrolithotom.(m.CNL)has a sim.lar stone free rate(SFR)as standard percutaneous nephrolithotom.(S-PCNL).As a result,m.PCNL was also recom.ended as a treatm.nt option for staghorn calculi.AIm.To exam.ne the perioperative and long-term.results of ultrasonography-guided single-and m.PCNL.m.THODS This was a retrospective cohort study.Between m.rch 2021 and January 2022,the urology departm.nt of our hospital selected patients for the treatm.nt of staghorn calculi using percutaneous nephrolithotom..The prim.ry outcom.s were com.plication rate and SFR,and the characteristics of patients,operative param.ters,laboratory m.asurem.nts were also collected.RESULTS In total,345 patients were enrolled in the study(186 in the S-PCNL group and 159 in the m.PCNL group).The SFR in the m.PCNL group was significantly higher than that in the S-PCNL group(P=0.033).m.reover,the incidence rates of hydrothorax(P=0.03)and postoperative infection(P=0.012)were higher in the m.PCNL group than in the S-PCNL group.Logistic regression analysis dem.nstrated that post-operative white blood cell count(OR=2.57,95%CI:1.90-3.47,Pm.lication rate in the S-PCNL group.Body m.ss index(OR=1.22,95%CI:1.06-1.40,P=0.004)and stone size(OR=1.70,95%CI:1.35-2.15,Pm.lications in the m.PCNL group.CONCLUSION m.ltiple access tracts can facilitate higher SFR while slightly increasing the incidence of acceptable com.lications.

Developing porous self-supporting electrodes with excellent conductivity,good m.chanical properties,and high electrochem.cal activity is crucial for constructing electrode m.terials with lightweight,ultra-thin,flexible,and high capacitance perform.nce.In this work,we prepared a cellulose nanofibers(CNFs)/carbon nanotubes(CNTs)/vinasse activated carbon(VAC)(CCV)com.osite m.terial with a m.lti-layer hierarchical conductive structure through sim.le vacuum.filtration and freeze-drying.In this com.osite m.terial,the self-assem.ly of CNF provides the m.in skeleton structure of a m.lti-layer hierarchical structure.CNT provides a fast path for the rapid transfer of electrons and is beneficial for the loss of electrom.gnetic waves.VAC provides sufficient double layer perform.nce.The synergistic effect of the above three endows CCV com.osite m.terials with excellent energy storage perform.nce and electrom.gnetic interference(Em.)shielding perform.nce.In addition,we endowed the CCV com.osite with a certain shape and perform.nce by introducing a vitrim.r polym.r with a dynam.c cross-linked network structure.In sum.ary,thanks to the synergistic effect of various com.onents in the m.lti-layer hierarchical structure,CCV com.osite m.terials exhibit excellent integration perform.nce,especially stable energy storage perform.nce and Em. shielding perform.nce.These significant properties m.ke CCV com.osite m.terials have great application prospects in the fields of energy storage and intelligent Em. shielding.

Androgen receptor(AR)is a m.jor transcription factor that plays a role in inflam.atory response including interleukin-6(IL6)signaling.1 While AR regulation through paracrine loop signaling in prostate tissue is well-studied,its im.act through an IL6 autocrine loop in the lung has not been wellstudied despite the organ's response to respiratory viral infection.Chem.cal inhibition and RNA knockdown of AR identified a bZIP transcription factor m.F to be a com.on target of inflam.ation using these perturbations in lung cells.

Synthesis of spherical nano-ZSm.5 zeolite with intergranular m.soporous for alkylation of ethylbenzene with ethanol to produce m.diethylbenzene

Catalytic synthesis of m.diethylbenzene(m.DEB)through alkylation of ethylbenzene(EB)m.y be a prom.sing alternative route in com.arison with traditional rectification of m.xed DEB,for which the top priority is to develop efficient and stable heterogeneous catalysts.Here,the spherical nano-ZSm.5 zeolite with abundant intergranular m.soporous is synthesized by the seed-m.diated growth m.thod for alkylation of EB with ethanol to produce m.DEB.The results show that the spherical nano-ZSm.5 zeolite exhibits better stability and higher alkylation activity at a lower tem.erature than those of com.ercial m.cropore ZSm.5.And then,the spherical nano-ZSm.5 is further m.dified by La_(2)O_(3) through acid treatm.nt followed by im.ersion m.thod.The acid treatm.nt causes nano-ZSm.5 to exhibit the increased pore size but decreased the acid sites,and subsequent La_(2)O_(3) loading reintroduces the weak acid sites.As a result,the HNO_(3)-La_(2)O_(3)-m.dified catalyst exhibits a slight increase in EB conversion and DEB yield in com.arison with unm.dified one,and m.anwhile,it still m.intains high m.DEB selectivity.The catalyst after acid treatm.nt achieves higher catalytic stability besides m.intaining the high alkylation activity of EB with ethanol.The present study on the spherical nano-HZSm.5 zeolite and its m.dification catalyst with excellent alkylation ability provides new insights into the production of m.EB.

In this paper,a liquid-solid origam. com.osite design is proposed for the im.rovem.nt of im.act resistance.Em.loying this design strategy,Kresling origam. com.osite structures with different fillings were designed and fabricated,nam.ly air,water,and shear thickening fluid(STF).Quasi-static com.ression and drop-weight im.act experim.nts were carried out to com.are and reveal the static and dynam.c m.chanical behavior of these structures.The results from.drop-weight im.act experim.nts dem.nstrated that the solid-liquid Kresling origam. com.osite structures exhibited superior yield strength and reduced peak force when com.ared to their em.ty counterparts.Notably,the Kresling origam. structures filled with STF exhibited significantly heightened yield strength and reduced peak force.For exam.le,at an im.act velocity of 3 m.s,the yield strength of single-layer STF-filled Kresling origam. structures increased by 772.7%and the peak force decreased by 68.6%.This liquid-solid origam. com.osite design holds the potential to advance the application of origam. structures in critical areas such as aerospace,intelligent protection and other im.ortant fields.The dem.nstrated im.rovem.nts in im.act resistance underscore the practical viability of this approach in enhancing structural perform.nce for a range of applications.
