Chi.a,one of the world’s megadi.erse countri.s,we i.vesti.ated patterns of contemporary exposure to floods and human pressures and determi.ed thei. taxonomi. representati.n and di.tri.uti.n across three major area-based conservati.n schemes,namely,nati.nal nature reserves(NNRs),pri.ri.y areas for bi.di.ersi.y conservati.n(PABCs),and key bi.di.ersi.y areas(KBAs).Among the 440 speci.s assessed wi.h moderate or hi.h exposure to floods,327(∼75%)also quali.i.d as moderate or hi.h i. exposure to i.tense human *** speci.s mai.ly belong to the orders Chi.optera,Euli.otyphla,and ***,there were 305,311,and 311 speci.s wi.h moderate or hi.h exposure to flood and i.tense human pressure represented across NNRs,PABCs,and KBAs,*** fi.di.gs support the pri.ri.i.ati.n of KBAs for expansi.n of si.e-based protecti.n efforts such as NNRs i. Chi.a,consi.eri.g threats to speci.s from exposure to adverse effects from both extreme cli.ate and human pressure.

However, masti.atory rhythm i. cruci.l for masti.atory performance and nutri.i.nal i.take. Thi. study ai.ed to explore the i.pact of usi.g a maxi.lofaci.l prosthesi. to restore masti.atory rhythm i. mandi.ulectomy pati.nts wi.h a novel wearable devi.e. Methods: Twelve pati.nts who underwent mandi.ulectomy and were rehabi.i.ated wi.h maxi.lofaci.l prosthesi. were recrui.ed. Chewi.g rate, cycle durati.ns, coeffi.i.nt of vari.ti.n of cycle durati.ns (CV), changi.g ti.es of ski. morphology on the back of the ear pi.na area (SM), and masti.atory performance were measured duri.g gum chewi.g wi.hout and wi.h a denture usi.g a wearable jaw movement rhythm tracki.g devi.e. A pai.ed t-test and the Pearson correlati.n coeffi.i.nt were used for stati.ti.al analysi.. Results: The chewi.g rate i.creased by 8.6 cycles/mi. wi.h dentures (P P = 0.01). The CV and SM decreased wi.h dentures (P = 0.004 and P = 0.01, respecti.ely). Si.ni.i.ant correlati.ns were found between the CV and SM wi.hout dentures (P = 0.004). Conclusi.n: 1. Weari.g maxi.lofaci.l prostheses can i.prove masti.atory rhythm i. pati.nts who undergo mandi.ulectomy wi.h Ei.hner B2 occlusal supports. 2. The wearable devi.e i. avai.able for measuri.g masti.atory rhythm i. pati.nts wi.h jaw defects i. cli.i.s. 3. BACKGROUND Survi.al i. pati.nts wi.h autoi.mune li.er di.ease overlap syndromes(Ai.DOS)compared to those wi.h si.gle autoi.mune li.er di.ease i. *** To i.vesti.ate the survi.al of pati.nts wi.h Ai.DOS and assess the accuracy of non-i.vasi.e serum models for predi.ti.g li.er-related *** Pati.nts wi.h Ai.DOS were defi.ed as ei.her autoi.mune hepati.i. and pri.ary bi.i.ry cholangi.i. overlap(Ai.-PBC)or autoi.mune hepati.i. and pri.ary sclerosi.g cholangi.i. overlap(Ai.-PSC)and were i.enti.i.d from three terti.ry centres for thi. cohort ***-related death or transplantati.n(li.er-related mortali.y)was determi.ed usi.g a populati.n-based data li.kage *** scores for li.er-related death were compared for accuracy[i.cludi.g li.er outcome score(LOS),Hepascore,Mayo Score,model for end-stage li.er di.ease(MELD)score and MELD i.corporated wi.h serum sodi.m(MELD-Na)score].RESULTS Twenty-two Ai.DOS pati.nts were followed for a medi.n of 3.1 years(range,0.35-7.7).Fourteen were female,the medi.n age was 46.7 years(range,17.8 to 82.1)and medi.n Hepascore was 1(range,0.07-1).At fi.e years post enrolment,57%of pati.nts remai.ed free from li.er-related mortali.y(74%Ai.-PBC,27%Ai.-PSC).There was no si.ni.i.ant di.ference i. survi.al between Ai.-PBC and *** was a si.ni.i.ant predi.tor of li.er-related mortali.y(Pi. pati.nts wi.h Ai.-PBC(n=14)but not Ai.-PSC(n=8).A LOS cut-poi.t of 6 di.cri.i.ated li.er-related mortali.y i. Ai.-PBC pati.nts(P=0.012,log-rank test,100%sensi.i.i.y,77.8%speci.i.i.y)(Harrell's C-stati.ti. 0.867).The MELD score,MELD-Na score and Mayo Score were not predi.ti.e of li.er-related mortali.y i. any *** Survi.al i. the rare,Ai.DOS i. *** current study supports the LOS as a predi.tor of li.er-related mortali.y i.
