Color Doppler sonography and angioscintigraphy in hepatic Hodgkin's lymphoma

AIM： To estimate the characteristics of Color Doppler findings and the results of hepatic radionuclide angiography （HRA） in secondary Hodgkin＇s hepatic lymphoma. METHODS： The research included patients with a diagnosis of Hodgkin＇s lymphoma with metastatic focal lesions in the liver and controls. Morphologic characteristics of focal liver lesions and hemodynamic parameters were examined by pulsed and Color Doppler in the portal, hepatic and splenic veins were examined. Hepatic perfusion index （HPI） estimated by HRA was calculated. was observed. Lesions were mostly hypoechoic and mixed, solitary or multiple. Some of the patients presented with dilated splenic veins and hepatofugal blood flow. A pulse wave was registered in the centre and at the margins of lymphoma. The average velocity of the pulse wave was higher at the margins （P 〉 0.05）. A continuous venous wave was found only at the margins of lymphoma. There was no linear correlation between lymphoma size and velocity of pulse and continuous wave （r = 390, P 〈 0.01）. HPI was significantly lower in patients with lymphomas than in controls （P 〈 0.05）, pointing out increased arterial perfusion in comparison to portal perfusion. CONCLUSION： Color Doppler ultrasonography is a sensitive method for the detection of neovascularization in Hodgkin＇s hepatic lymphoma and estimation of its intensity. Hepatic radionuclide angiography can additionally help in the assesment of vascularisation of liver lesions.

Bone regeneration is a tightly regulated process that ensures proper repair and functionality after *** delicate balance between bone formation and resorption is governed by cytokines and signaling molecules released during the inflammatory ***(IL)-17A,produced in the early phase of inflammation,influences the fate of *** to their inherent capacity to differentiate into osteoblasts,mesenchymal stem/stromal cells(MSCs)contribute to bone healing and *** review presents an overview of IL-17A signaling and the leading cellular and molecular mechanisms by which it regulates the osteogenic differentiation of *** main findings demonstrating IL-17A’s influence on osteoblastogenesis are *** this end,divergent information exists about the capacity of IL-17A to regulate MSCs’osteogenic fate,depending on the tissue context and target cell type,along with contradictory findings in the same cell ***,we summarize the data showing both the pro-osteogenic and anti-osteogenic roles of IL-17,which may help in the understanding of IL-17A function in bone repair and regeneration.

Metals Complexes Formed with Oleanolic Acid

The oleanolic acid possesses diverse pharmacological properties, it is considered as a good starting material for creating new compounds. The oleanolic acid isolated of Plumeria obtusa leaves was used as raw material to obtained calcium, magnesium, zinc, nickel and copper complexes. The structures of complexes were confirmed by HRMS, 1H NMR, and 13C NMR. Five new compounds were synthesized to promote increased biological activity of oleanolic acid and PCR assays for the different type of cancer.

In this White Paper we present the potential of the Enhanced X-ray Timing and Polarimetry(eXTP) mission for determining the nature of dense matter; neutron star cores host an extreme density regime which cannot be replicated in a terrestrial laboratory. The tightest statistical constraints on the dense matter equation of state will come from pulse profile modelling of accretion-powered pulsars, burst oscillation sources, and rotation-powered pulsars. Additional constraints will derive from spin measurements, burst spectra, and properties of the accretion flows in the vicinity of the neutron star. Under development by an international Consortium led by the Institute of High Energy Physics of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, the eXTP mission is expected to be launched in the mid 2020 s.
