Potential role of tanycyte-derived neurogenesis in Alzheimer's disease

Tanycytes, specialized ependymal cells located in the hypothalamus, play a crucial role in the generation of new neurons that contribute to the neural circuits responsible for regulating the systemic energy balance. The precise coordination of the gene networks controlling neurogenesis in naive and mature tanycytes is essential for maintaining homeostasis in adulthood. However, our understanding of the molecular mechanisms and signaling pathways that govern the proliferation and differentiation of tanycytes into neurons remains limited. This article aims to review the recent advancements in research into the mechanisms and functions of tanycyte-derived neurogenesis. Studies employing lineage-tracing techniques have revealed that the neurogenesis specifically originating from tanycytes in the hypothalamus has a compensatory role in neuronal loss and helps maintain energy homeostasis during metabolic diseases. Intriguingly,metabolic disorders are considered early biomarkers of Alzheimer's disease. Furthermore,the neurogenic potential of tanycytes and the state of newborn neurons derived from tanycytes heavily depend on the maintenance of mild microenvironments, which may be disrupted in Alzheimer's disease due to the impaired blood–brain barrier ***, the specific alterations and regulatory mechanisms governing tanycyte-derived neurogenesis in Alzheimer's disease remain unclear. Accumulating evidence suggests that tanycyte-derived neurogenesis might be impaired in Alzheimer's disease, exacerbating neurodegeneration. Confirming this hypothesis, however, poses a challenge because of the lack of long-term tracing and nucleus-specific analyses of newborn neurons in the hypothalamus of patients with Alzheimer's disease. Further research into the molecular mechanisms underlying tanycyte-derived neurogenesis holds promise for identifying small molecules capable of restoring tanycyte proliferation in neurodegenerative diseases. Edible fungi are rich in nutrition,but they are susceptible to spoilage,and often prolonged by *** and microwave energy drying have the advantages of short drying time,high energy efficiency and good process ***,to develop an effective dielectric drying method,it is important to understand dielectric properties,the major factor characterizing the interaction between the electromagnetic energy and the *** present,there is a lack of research on dielectric properties of edible *** this study,a vector network analyzer and an open-ended coaxial-line probe were employed to measure the dielectric *** dielectric parameters were observed at different temperatures(25–85°C)for edible fungi powder with moisture content ranging from 5 to 30%wet basis over a frequency range of 1–3000 *** relationship between the dielectric properties and frequency,temperature,and moisture content were obtained via regression ***,the dielectric penetration depth was calculated,and the effects of frequency,moisture content,and temperature on the penetration depth were also *** results showed that the dielectric properties of edible fungi powder increased with an increase in moisture content and temperature,while they decreased with increasing *** high moisture content and temperature,the increase in dielectric properties was slightly larger than that at low moisture content and *** dielectric properties changed more evidently at lower radio frequencies than at higher radio *** penetration depth decreased with an increase in temperature,moisture content,and *** can be concluded that a large penetration depth at radio frequencies below 100 MHz could be used to dry edible fungi on a large scale,whereas microwave energy could be employed for drying edible fungi on a small scale.

【目的】提出一种简单方便的森林碳储量估算方法,构建考虑林分特征的尺度兼容和树种分类的材积源森林碳储量模型,为估算多尺度和多树种森林碳储量提供方法和技术支持。【方法】基于第6~9次全国森林资源清查数据和异速生长方程,分别利用含哑变量的非线性最小二乘法的独立模型和非线性似然无关回归的联立方程组模型,构建考虑起源、龄组2个主要林分特征的尺度兼容和树种分类的森林碳储量模型,通过加权回归消除异方差,采用决定系数(R^(2))、估计值的标准差(SEE)、平均预估误差(MPE)、总相对误差(TRE)和差异百分比(VP)对模型进行评价;同时利用2021年林草综合监测数据,比较不同尺度模型估算全国森林碳储量的差异。【结果】1)共构建2974类尺度兼容的森林碳储量模型,与独立模型相比,联立方程组模型的R^(2)无明显差异。独立模型和联立方程组模型分别为1383和1591类,模型R^(2)的平均值分别为0.9661和0.9652,MPE分别为0.75%和0.78%,联立方程组模型的R^(2)仅下降0.0009,MPE仅上升0.03%。2)共构建2520类树种分类的森林碳储量模型,与尺度兼容模型结果一样,独立模型和联立方程组模型的R^(2)无明显差异。独立模型和联立方程组模型均为1260类,模型R^(2)的平均值分别为0.9443和0.9424,MPE分别为0.48%和0.49%,联立方程组模型的R^(2)仅下降0.0019,MPE仅上升0.01%。3)构建4种不同建模方式(独立-尺度模型、独立-树种模型、联立-尺度模型、联立-树种模型)的森林碳储量模型。相比独立模型,联立方程组模型的参数变动幅度更小。4种不同建模方式共包含参数a和参数b分别为46157和23935个。独立模型和联立方程组模型参数a的平均值分别为0.5965和0.6200,极差分别为2.3186和2.1922,独立模型的参数极差偏高0.1264;参数b的平均值分别为0.9332和0.9318,极差分别为0.6723和0.5065,独立模型的参数极差偏高0.1667。4)不同尺度模型估算全国森林碳储量时,无论何种尺度,独立模型的估算差异均大于联立方程组模型,但总体上各种尺度模型的估算差异均在3%以内。【结论】1)本研究提出的从森林蓄积量直接到森林碳储量的材积源森林碳储量模型数据有效、方法可靠,可用于直接估算森林碳储量。2)基于含哑变量的非线性似然无关的联立方程组方法,可更好地建立尺度兼容和树种分类的森林碳储量模型。3)本研究构建的森林碳储量模型平均R^(2)在0.95以上,MPE在1%以内,可用于林业实践中快速准确估算森林碳储量。4)根据模型的拟合精度以及参数的稳定性,建议使用以联立-尺度(以尺度为建模总体的联立树种分类模型)为建模方式的森林碳储量模型。5)在5%精度要求下,可使用国家尺度考虑林分起源、龄组的树种分类模型估算全国森林碳储量。

【目的】探究优化的地理相似性模型在省级尺度上森林土壤有机质预测研究中的适用性。【方法】以广东省土壤肥力监测系统的1 175个样点数据为基础,选择土壤因子、林分因子、气候因子作为环境协变量,改进个体样点代表性的数字土壤制图(iPSM)方法。选用决定系数、平均绝对误差和均方根误差3个指标评价该改进方法在省级尺度森林土壤有机质预测研究中的适用性,并与随机森林预测模型的结果进行比较。【结果】(1)优化后的iPSM方法的预测精度优于随机森林预测模型,模型的决定系数可达0.741 9;(2)土壤因子中土壤全氮含量和速效钾含量是广东省森林土壤有机质预测模型中影响最大的环境协变量。【结论】优化后的iPSM方法在广东省森林土壤有机质预测研究中相较于iPSM方法精度有一定提高,在省级尺度上有较好的适用性。

The formation of chemical bonds between metal ions and their supports is an effective strategy to achieve good catalytic ***,both the synthesis of active metal species on a support and control of their coordination environment are still ***,we show the use of an organic compound to produce tubular carbon nitride(TCN)as a support for Pd nanoparticles(NPs),creating a composite material(NP-Pd-TCN).It was found that Pd ions preferentially bind with the electron-rich N atoms of TCN,leading to strong metal-support interactions that benefit charge transfer from g-C_(3)N_(4)to Pd.X-ray absorption spectroscopy further revealed that the metal-support interactions resulted in the formation of Pd-N bonds,which are responsible for the improvement in the charge dynamics as evidenced by the results from various techniques including photoluminescence(PL)spectroscopy,photocurrent measurements,and electrochemical impedance spectroscopy(EIS).Owing to the good dynamical properties,NP-Pd-TCN was used for photocatalytic hydrogen evolution under visible-light irradiation(λ>420 nm)and an excellent evolution rate of~381μmol·h^(-1)(0.02 g of the photocatalyst)was *** work aims to promote a strategy to synthesize efficient photocatalysts for hydrogen production by controllably introducing metal nanoparticles on a support and in the meantime forming chemical bonds to achieve intimate metal-support contact.

The biogeographical distribution of tree species-abundance and its relation to climatic factors in mass islands

Tree species-abundance in forests is a function of geographical area and climate, although it is not clear whether such relationships apply to mass islands. We examined the spatial pattern of tree species in mass islands along the coast of Zhejiang, East China Sea using the Preston model, to identify the relationships between tree communities and climatic conditions. The results show that：（1） the biogeographical distribution of tree species-abundance conformes to Preston＇s log-normal pattern, and is in accordance with the findings in both tropical rainforests and estuarine forests;（2） the climatic factors related to tree communities in mass islands are similar to that of the subtropical zone, including the major species of evergreen needle-leaf, broad-leaf and deciduous broad-leaf forests. We conclude that the Preston model can be applied to the trees of mass islands and thus facilitate the systematic ecological researches of vegetation species＇ composition in subtropical zone.

目的探讨丹参多酚酸盐(SAL)对糖尿病小鼠心肌梗死(MI)后的保护作用及初步机制。方法将成年雄性C57BL/6J小鼠设为对照组;自发性2型糖尿病小鼠(db/db)分为模型组、阳性药组和SAL给药组(50、100、200 mg/kg),每组6只,结扎小鼠冠状动脉左前降支建立MI损伤模型。连续给药7 d。使用彩色多普勒超声设备对小鼠心脏功能各项指标进行评估。此外,运用HE染色技术对心肌组织的病理损伤进行检测。ELISA法测定小鼠血清中血管性血友病因子(vWF)、血小板内皮细胞黏附分子-1(PECAM-1)、内皮细胞选择素(E-selectin)、一氧化氮(NO)、活性氧(ROS)、白细胞介素-1β(IL-1β)、白细胞介素-6(IL-6)、肿瘤坏死因子-α(TNF-α)等指标;同时,利用qRT-PCR和Western blotting技术分析小鼠心肌组织中血管内皮生长因子(VEGF)、血管内皮细胞生长因子受体2(VEGFR2)、磷脂酰肌醇3-激酶(PI3K)和蛋白激酶B(Akt)的mRNA及其蛋白表达水平。结果模型组相较于对照组血糖和胰岛素水平更高,心肌组织病理损伤更严重,左心室射血分数、左心室短轴缩短率、NO水平降低(均P<0.01),左心室收缩末期内径、左心室舒张末期内径、vWF、PECAM-1、E-selectin、ROS、IL-1β、IL-6、TNF-α表达均升高(均P<0.01),VEGF、VEGFR2的mRNA和蛋白表达应激性升高(均P<0.01);与模型组比较,阳性药组和SAL不同剂量给药组可明显改善上述变化。结论SAL通过抑制炎症进程,恢复血管内皮损伤功能,调控VEGF/PI3K/Akt信号通路改善心脏功能,发挥糖尿病小鼠MI后的保护作用。

为了有效确定地基激光雷达系统的几何因子,修正地基激光雷达信号接收过渡区内的回波信号,提出了一种反演几何因子的新方法。利用星载激光雷达(CALIPSO)可以覆盖地基激光雷达探测过渡区的特点,结合星载与地基激光雷达同步获取的回波信号,分别反演了离轴和同轴模式下的几何因子,并同成熟的拉曼-米氏几何因子反演方法,以及Su Jia的联合测量法作对比。在几何因子过渡区内,校正后的气溶胶后向散射系数与Su Jia的方法相比,离轴和同轴模式下的平均相对误差分别提高了25.4%和10.4%。该方法克服了弹性散射激光雷达水平测量法中因大气均匀假设导致的几何因子测量结果的不确定性,更适用于应用广泛的弹性散射激光雷达,且可以利用CALIPSO每月过境时间稳定的特点,对系统几何因子进行常规标定。
