Simulation analysis for controlling temperature stability of a radiant-board system served for thermodynamic temperature measurement laboratory

Fundamental metrology is closely tied to scientific advancement and requires well-equipped facilities to achieve low measurement uncertainty in rigorous *** the±0.1 K high-stability temperature control issue of the precision laboratory radiant air conditioning system,this study investigated the influence of different radiant panel area ratios,laying methods,cold source water supply temperature fluctuations,and external environmental disturbances by *** results indicate that:(1)the larger the ratio of radiant panel area,the greater the fluctuation in equipment surface temperature;(2)the surface temperature of the measurement equipment can satisfy±0.1 K control temperature stability requirement when the fluctuations of the surface temperature of radiant panels and glass window are within±0.5 K and±1 K respectively without radiant panels on the ceiling;(3)the surface temperature of the measurement equipment can satisfy±0.1 K control temperature stability requirement when the fluctuations of the surface temperature of radiant panels and glass window are within±0.2 K and±2 K respectively with radiant panels on the *** study provides a reference for the design and operation control of air conditioning systems in fundamental metrology.

Microbial Community Composition and Function in Sediments from the Pearl River Mouth Basin

This study was conducted to characterize the diversity and function of microbial communities in marine sediments of the Pearl River Mouth Basin(PRMB)in the South China *** results showed that the bacterial and archaeal communities varied greatly with *** in bacterial communities and Nitrososphaeria and Woesearchaeota in archaeal communities were dominant in the shallow sediments(1-40 cm),while Chloroflexi in bacterial communities and Bathyarchaeia in archaeal communities were dominant in the deep sediments(50-200 cm).Regarding ecological functions based on the metatranscriptomic data,genes involved in various pathways of nitrogen metabolism and sulfur metabolism were observed in the tested sediment *** analysis revealed that Proteobacteria contribute the most to nearly all genes involved in nitrogen and sulfur ***,Thaumarchaeota contribute the most to certain genes involved in nitrification,denitrification and assimilatory sulfate reduction *** most abundant bacterial genus,Candidatus Scalindua,is crucial for nitrification,dissimilatory nitrate reduction,denitrification and assimilatory sulfate reduction pathways.

DFT and 3D-QSAR Studies of Anti-Cancer Agents m-(4-Morpholinoquinazolin-2-yl) Benzamide Derivatives for Novel Compounds Design

As a group of diversified frameworks, quinazolin derivatives displayed a broad field of biological functions, especially as anticancer. To investigate the quantitative structure-activity relationship, 3D-QSAR models were generated with 24 quinazolin scaffold molecules. The experimental and predicted pIC50 values for both training and test set compounds showed good correlation, which proved the robustness and reliability of the generated QSAR models. The most effective CoMFA and CoMSIA were obtained with correlation coefficient2ncv r of 1.00 （both） and leave-one-out coefficient q2 of 0.61 and 0.59, respectively. The predictive abilities of CoMFA and CoMSIA were quite good with the predictive correlation coefficients （2pred r ） of 0.97 and 0.91. In addition, the statis-tic results of CoMFA and CoMSIA were used to design new quinazolin molecules.

Facile Synthesis of Fe/Cr-Codoped ZnO Nanoparticles with Excellent Adsorption Performance for Various Pollutants

Adsorption is an effective and low-cost method for removing antibiotics and dyes. However, it remains a challenge to prepare an adsorbent with excellent adsorption properties for both various antibiotics and dyes. Herein, Fe/Cr-codoped ZnO with high adsorption capacity and fast adsorption rate are prepared by an environmentally friendly solvothermal method. Fe/Cr-codope ZnO with a diameter of 10–20 nm exhibits superior adsorption capacities for the antibiotics of tetracycline hydrochloride(TC-HCl)(826.45 mg g-1) and tetracycline(TC)(331.01 mg g-1), and anionic dyes of methyl orange(MO)(1023.88 mg g-1), methyl blue(MB)(726.26 mg g-1) and direct red(DR)(642.25 mg g-1). Meanwhile, it presents fast adsorption rate, it only took 30 min to reach more than 90% of the equilibrium adsorption amount for TC-HCl, TC, MO, MB and DR. The adsorption process closely fitted the Langmuir isotherm model and pseudo second-order rate equation. More importantly, simple method has been developed for separating the pollutant from the adsorbent, which not only regenerates the materials, but also completes the recovery of antibiotics and dyes, avoiding the secondary pollution. The broad-spectrum, rapid, environment-friendly and effective adsorption properties make Fe/Crcodoped ZnO a promising adsorbent for water treatments.

A Fast Charging–Cooling Coupled Scheduling Method for a Liquid Cooling-Based Thermal Management System for Lithium-Ion Batteries

Efficient fast-charging technology is necessary for the extension of the driving range of electric ***,lithium-ion cells generate immense heat at high-current charging *** order to address this problem,an efficient fast charging–cooling scheduling method is urgently *** this study,a liquid cooling-based thermal management system equipped with mini-channels was designed for the fastcharging process of a lithium-ion battery module.A neural network-based regression model was proposed based on 81 sets of experimental data,which consisted of three sub-models and considered three outputs:maximum temperature,temperature standard deviation,and energy *** sub-model had a desirable testing accuracy(99.353%,97.332%,and 98.381%)after *** regression model was employed to predict all three outputs among a full dataset,which combined different charging current rates(0.5C,1C,1.5C,2C,and 2.5C(1C=5 A))at three different charging stages,and a range of coolant rates(0.0006,0.0012,and 0.0018 kg·s^(-1)).An optimal charging–cooling schedule was selected from the predicted dataset and was validated by the *** results indicated that the battery module’s state of charge value increased by 0.5 after 15 min,with an energy consumption lower than 0.02 *** maximum temperature and temperature standard deviation could be controlled within 33.35 and 0.8C,*** approach described herein can be used by the electric vehicles industry in real fast-charging ***,optimal fast charging-cooling schedule can be predicted based on the experimental data obtained,that in turn,can significantly improve the efficiency of the charging process design as well as control energy consumption during cooling.

Effects of polyamines on the early development of cystocarps,spore release,survival,and germination rate of Gracilariopsis lemaneiformis

Three polyamines(PAs)(spermidine(Spd),spermine(Spm),and putrescine(Put))were used as growth regulators to the marine macroalgae Gracilariopsis lemaneiformis and to female gametophyte and reproductive tissues(cystocarps were constructed),which led to early maturation of cystocarps and spore *** cultivation revealed that exogenous PA application accelerated the development of cystocarps,and the mean sporeling growth rate was 20%–50%/d during the initial week of *** spore count(SC),survival rate(SR),and germination rate(GR)of *** showed different responses to PA(10-6 mol/L and 10-3 mol/L)treatments under different temperatures(18,26,and 34℃),light intensities(30,60,and 90μmol photons/(m^(2)·s)),salinities(25,30,and 35),and nutrient levels(25꞉2.5,50꞉5.0,and 75꞉7.5μmol/L NH4Cl꞉K2HPO4),and the optimal conditions were 26℃,light intensity of 60μmol/(m^(2)·s),salinity of 35,and nutrient level of 50꞉5.0μmol/L NH4Cl꞉*** the optimum conditions,the SC per cystocarp increased by 82.38%,and the spore SR and GR increased by 33.07%and 46.44%,*** experiment lasted for 7 days,with the highest SC on Day 4 and plateauing on Day *** results indicate that PAs could promote the early maturation,spore release,survival,and germination of *** under laboratory conditions.

Insights into the floatability between spodumene and albite from crystal chemistry standpoint

Spodumene is a silicate mineral rich in ***,the gangue mineral,albite has similar crystal chemical structure and composition to *** this work,the density functional theory(DFT)calculation was taken to research the floatability from the perspective of crystal *** contact angle test and reagent adsorption test were used to support the simulation *** addition,the weighted total density of broken bonds is proposed for the first time to judge the generation probability of cleavage *** DFT calculation results display that the Na and Al sites on the albite surface are the adsorption sites of water *** the water molecules only bond with Al atom on the surface of spodumene and each Al site can adsorb only one water ***,the wetting effect of water molecules on the albite surface is stronger than that of *** is consistent with the result of contact *** sodium oleate system,the oleic acid anion is adsorbed on the spodumene surface in form of a multicomponent ring while the albite is a single ***,oleic acid anion can be strongly adsorbed on the surface of spodumene and albite under *** adsorption strength of spodumene is higher than that of ***,on hydrated surface,the adsorption strength of oleic acid anion on mineral surface is greatly reduced due to the interaction between water molecules and metal site on mineral ***,spodumene and albite are hard to float without external activated ions in sodium oleate system.

Fracture Mechanism of the Formation with a Natural Flaw Under a Single-Tooth Cutting

The process of a single-tooth cutting formation is taken as the representative to analyze the fracture mechanism of the formation with natural flaws under the PDC drill *** modeling of the stress field distribution of the formation under a single tooth is proposed ***,the modeling of the stress intensity factor K,T-stress and the initiation angleθof the flaw under two far-field compressive loads in two cases are presented based on the mode-II ***,the results of theoretical calculations and simulations are given and *** on the analysis undertaken,it can be concluded that the confinement ratioλapplying on the flaw changes nonlinearly with the variation inα+φ.The relationship between the dimensionless ratioβx/βy of T-stress and the rotational polar angleφis a parabola with an upward *** the direction of the cutting force is consistent with the flaw,the stress intensity factor K and the initiation angleθat the tip of the flaw reach the *** addition,the angle between the cutting force and the flaw weakens the T-stress and inhibits the crack initiation and propagation of the *** results of numerical simulations show good agreement with theoretical calculations.

Robust magnetic laccase-mimicking nanozyme for oxidizing o-phenylenediamine and removing phenolic pollutants

In this study, we report a novel magnetic biomimetic nanozyme(Fe3O4@Cu/GMP(guanosine5′-monophosphate)) with high laccase-like activity, which could oxidize toxic ophenylenediamine(OPD) and remove phenolic *** magnetic laccase-like nanozyme was readily obtained via complexed Cu2+and GMP that grew on the surface of magnetic Fe3O4 *** prepared Fe3O4@Cu/GMP catalyst could be magnetically recycled for at least five cycles while still retaining above 70% *** a laccase mimic,Fe3O4@Cu/GMP had more activity and robust stability than natural laccase for the oxidization of ***3O4@Cu/GMP retained about 90% residual activity at 90℃ and showed little change at pH 3–9, and the nanozyme kept its excellent activity after long-term ***, Fe3O4@Cu/GMP had better activity for removing phenolic compounds, and the removal of naphthol was more than 95%.Consequently, the proposed Fe3O4@Cu/GMP nanozyme shows potential for use as a robust catalyst for applications in environmental remediation.
