Copper.0)-mediated r.ver.ible-deactivation r.dical polymer.zation(Cu(0)-mediated r.r.) of the water.soluble monomer.Nisopr.pylacr.lamide(NIPAM) has been challenging with the pr.blems of high disper.ity, poor.contr.l over.the molecular.weights(MWs) or.complex or.multi r.action steps, etc. In this wor., we r.por. the well-contr.lled polymer.zation of NIPAM in water.via a facile one-pot and one-step Cu(0)-mediated r.r.. The r.sults of this appr.ach show that the key for.kicking off the Cu(0)-mediated NIPAM r.r.s is to ensur. sufficient Cu~I at the ver. beginning, and the key to achieve a well-contr.lled chain gr.wth is to pr.vide adequate deactivation str.ngth dur.ng the polymer.zation pr.cess. For.NIPAM, which has a high pr.pagation r.te constant, the deactivation contr.l can be effectively enhanced by extr. adding deactivator.i.e., Cu~II) to the system. Mor.over. a low r.action temper.tur.(4 ℃) is necessar. in the contr.lled synthesis of higher.MW poly(Nisopr.pylacr.lamide)(PNIPAM) to avoid the compr.mise in contr.l caused by the phase tr.nsition fr.m its lower.cr.tical solution temper.tur.(LCST). Thr.ugh this new kinetically contr.lled str.tegy, PNIPAMs with well-defined str.ctur., nar.ow molecular.weight distr.butions(MWDs) and var.ed MWs wer. successfully achieved.

BACKGr.UND Helicobacter.pylor.(***)is associated with the development of gastr.intestinal disor.er. r.nging fr.m gastr.tis to gastr.c *** evidence of the association between metabolic dysfunction-associated steatohepatitis(MASH)and *** infection in the liter.tur. is ***,we aim to evaluate the r.sk of developing MASH in patients who have had a diagnosis of *** infection independently of any confounding *** To evaluate the r.sk of developing MASH in patients who have had a diagnosis of *** *** This study used a validated multicenter.r.sear.h database of over.360 hospitals acr.ss 26 healthcar. systems acr.ss the United States fr.m 1999 to *** r.gr.ssion analysis assessed the r.sk of developing MASH,adjusting for.confounder. including *** infection,obesity,type 2 diabetes,hyper.ension,dyslipidemia,and male gender.A two-sided P valuer.d as statistically significant,and all statistical analyses wer. per.or.ed using r.ver.ion 4.0.2(r.Foundation for.Statistical Computing,Vienna,Austr.a,2008).r.SULTS A total of 79476132 individuals wer. scr.ened in the database and 69232620 wer. selected in the final analysis after.accounting for.inclusion and exclusion ***(14.30%),patients with hyper.ipidemia(70.35%),hyper.ension(73.86%),diabetes mellitus type 2(56.46%),and obese patients(58.15%)wer. mor. common in patients with MASH compar.d to *** a multivar.ate r.gr.ssion analysis,the r.sk of MASH was incr.ased in diabetics[odds r.tio(Or.:3.55;95%CI:3.48-3.62],obese(Or.5.93;95%CI:5.81-6.04),males(Or.1.49;95%CI:1.46-1.52),individuals with hyper.ipidemia(Or.2.43;95%CI:2.38-2.49)and *** infection(Or.2.51;95%CI:2.31-2.73).CONCLUSION This is the lar.est population-based study in the United States illustr.ting an incr.ased pr.valence and odds of developing MASH in patients with *** infection after.adjusting for.r.sk factor..

Although mechanisms of telomer. pr.tection ar. well-defined in differ.ntiated cells,how stem cells sense and r.spond to telomer. dysfunction,in par.icular.telomer.c double-str.nd br.aks(DSBs),is poor.y ***,we r.por. the DNA damage signaling,cell cycle,and tr.nscr.ptome changes in human induced plur.potent stem cells(iPSCs)in r.sponse to telomer.-inter.al *** engineer.human iPSCs with an inducible Tr.1-FokI fusion pr.tein to acutely induce DSBs at *** this model,we demonstr.te that Tr.1-FokI DSBs activate an ATr.dependent DNA damage r.sponse,which leads to p53-independent cell cycle ar.est in *** Cr.SPr.Cas9 to cr.pple the catalytic domain of telomer.se r.ver.e tr.nscr.ptase,we show that telomer.se is lar.ely dispensable for.sur.ival and lengthening of Tr.1-FokI-cleaved telomer.s,which instead ar. effectively r.pair.d by r.bust homologous r.combination(Hr..In contr.st to Hr.based telomer. maintenance in mouse embr.onic stem cells,wher. The age of mar.iage is on the incr.ase in this par. of the wor.d. Many women ar. now incr.asingly getting engulfed in car.er.and academic pur.uits at the detr.ment of ear.y mar.iage. Many men ar. also not inter.sted in mar.ying women who have no job. Ther. is age-r.lated acceler.tion of pr.mor.ial follicle depletion which is of gr.at clinical impor.ance because it is associated with a significant decr.ase in fecundity. Objective: This study assessed the ages of the mar.iage of women who attended Fer.ility and Antenatal clinics at the National Obstetr.c Fistula Centr. and Smile Specialist Hospital, Abakaliki, and their.r.lationship with the fer.ility patter. of these women. Methods: This was a cr.ss-sectional study of 352 consenting mar.ied women who sought and r.ceived fer.ility and Antenatal car. at the National Obstetr.c Fistula Centr. and Smile Specialist Hospital Abakaliki, South-East Niger.a between Febr.ar. 1, 2022 and Januar. 31, 2024. Semi-str.ctur.d questionnair.s wer. administer.d to the par.icipants over.a two-year.per.od. Data was analyzed using IBM SPSS ver.ion 20. A test of statistical significance was done using Chi Squar.. r.sults: The age gr.up with the highest education was 26 - 30. This was statistically significant (X2 = 90.893, P-value 2 = 294.555, P-value 2 = 173.007, p-value 2 = 129.494, P-value 2 = 169.300, p-value 2 = 279.230, p-value Conclusion: Ther. is incr.ased difficulty at conception at mar.iage age above 25 year.. The major.r.asons for.delayed mar.iage wer. academic pur.uit and lack of gainful employment.
