The equilibrium structures, formation energy, mechanical properties and electronic properties of Co-Sn intermetallics have been systemically studied by first-principles study. The results show that the CoSn phase is more thermodynamically stable than any other stoichiometry of Co-Sn intermetallics. With the increasing of Co content in Co-Sn intermetallics, the mechanical properties change into brittle behavior from ductility character. Adding proper amount of Co to Co-Sn intermetallics can improve the cycle performance for lithium ion battery anode. However, high Co content will lead to a poor cycle performance for Co-Sn intermetallics.

Deep eutectic solvents(DESs)are known as environmentally-friendly solvents that have emerged as an alternative to conventional organic solvents in recent *** this study,the effects of ten different DESs on the extraction of bioactive components from the Hypericum perforatum were *** phenolic content,total flavonoid content,phenolic profile(32 phenolics),organic acid profile(52 organic acids),as well as antioxidant and antimicrobial activities of *** extracts prepared using DESs and ultrasonic-assisted extraction method were *** phenolic,total flavonoid content,and antioxidant activities of extracts were determined between 3.10±0.86-16.64±2.09 mg GA/g,0.02±0.00-12.29±0.30 mg QE/g,and 8.40±0.50-44.78±2.66 mg TE/g,***2(choline chloride:ethylene glycol)and DES7(choline chloride:lactic acid)demonstrated higher extraction success than other DESs for extracting phenolics and organic acids,*** prepared using organic acid as hydrogen bond donor were found to have an antibacterial effect against all bacterial ***,the inhibitory effect against yeast-like fungi was observed in a narrower ***,the results from principal component analysis also confirmed that the type of solvent used for extraction has a significant influence on the phenolics,organic acid,and other *** a result,it was seen that DES components directly affect the extraction efficiency of target compounds from *** is a first and original report about use of DESs in extracting different bioactive components from ***.

Evaluating underground gas storage(UGS)sealing capacity is essential for its safe construction and operational *** involves evaluating both the static sealing capacity of traps during hydrocarbon accumulation and the dynamic sealing capacity of UGS under intensive gas injection and withdrawal,and alternating *** study detailed the methodology developed by *** approach merges disciplines like geology,geomechanics,and hydrodynamics,employing both dynamic-static and qualitative-quantitative ***'s evaluation methods,grounded in the in situ stress analysis,include mechanistic studies,laboratory tests,geological surveys,stress analysis,and fluid-solid *** tests on the static and dynamic sealing capacity of UGS,alongside investigations into sealing mechanisms and the geological and geomechanical properties of cap rocks and faults,A geomechanics-rock damage-seepage mechanics dynamic coupling analysis method has been developed to predict in situ stress variations relative to pore pressure changes during UGS operations and evaluate fault sealing capacity and cap rock integrity,thereby setting the maximum operational *** this evaluation technique,Sinopec has defined performance metrics and criteria for evaluating the sealing capacity of depleted gas reservoirs,enabling preliminary sealing capacity evaluations at UGS *** evaluations have significantly informed the design of UGS construction schemes and the evaluation of fault sealing capacity and cap rock integrity during UGS operations.

The performance of a LOCOS-isolated SOI MOSFET heavily depends on its back-gate characteristic, which can be affected by back-gate stress.A large voltage stress was applied to the back gate of SOI devices for at least 30 s at room temperature,which could effectively modify the back-gate threshold voltage of these devices. This modification is stable and time *** order to improve the back-gate threshold voltage,positive substrate bias was applied to NMOS devices and negative substrate bias was applied to PMOS *** results suggest that there is a leakage path between source and drain along the silicon island edge,and the application of large backgate bias with the source,drain and gate grounded can strongly affect this leakage *** we draw the conclusion that the back-gate threshold voltage,which is directly related to the leakage current,can be influenced by back-gate stress.

In any military environment, certain cohesive forces are required for a smooth functioning, regarding accomplishment of the given mission. One of the most prominent issues from the point of view of good motivation and high morale is equity, which should definitely be imposed by leaders and taken for granted by the rank-and-file members. All military people in a certain military unit invariably keep comparing themselves with fellow soldiers： What do they contribute and what reward do they receive, in return？ Is the balance fair or unfair？ In reality, disturbances in equity may occur in various forms. Some are tolerable due to the specific character of the environment in question. But beyond a certain limit, they are disruptive of a peaceful atmosphere. The most effective cohesive force, which in turn is strongly affected and in a sense utterly determined by the satisfaction of the need for a just and fair ambiance, is the concept of comradeship. Indeed, it gets further intensified in combat circumstances. It is also this very feeling which is always pleasantly recalled even long years after the service is finished.

Turkish people display deep consideration for the concept of hierarchy. Historically, they had been always calculating and measuring the relative positions of authority symbols with respect to one another; because they had their own dealings with those who held political power. Should they render their young sons to the service of the feudal lords or the state？ Should they consent to the say of the local forces or that of the central state power, when it comes to fixing the amounts and/or the kinds of taxes？ Sometimes, the ordinary subjects of the Ottoman state were even openly torn apart in dilemmas whereby local powers were revolting against the central government of the Sultan placed at the capitol. Even the anoymous folk tales, which reflect people＇s opinions and mentalities in a manner very close to the truth, involve comparisons among the levels of power represented by certain officials/figures. When confronted with authority, the usual feeling contains a tint of respect, even though it is mainly a kind of resignition mixed with acceptance, leading to obedience in the end. A true, internalized respect itself is solely that which is directed toward the elderly people of the society. On the other hand, traditionally and conventionally, old age was closely associated with official or informal power and authority, anyhow. However, nowadays, in a very confusing manner, this former social understanding is undergoing rather fast changes with the advent of younger contemporary political figures.

CO_(2) geological utilization and storage(CGUS)is an important technology to achieve a deep cut of global CO_(2) ***_(2) leakage from the subsurface may impair the performance of CGUS projects,and the CO_(2) leakage through wellbores is the most common leakage *** paper proposes a workflow for wellbore CO_(2) leakage risk management,and the workflow consists of the following steps:i)leakage risk identification;ii)leakage risk evaluation;iii)leakage risk monitoring;iv)leakage *** approaches in each step of the workflow are systematically *** challenges of wellbore CO_(2) leakage risk management include:lack of effective detection and evaluation approaches to tackle the CO_(2) leakage risk induced by cement failure;lack of low-cost acid resistance alloys and CO_(2)-resistant cement;lack of automated monitoring systems that could enable automated shutdowns of the wellbore whenever certain warning criteria are met.

Aqueous zinc metal batteries (AZMBs) are hindered by uncontrolled dendrites and side reactions during commercialization,despite their advantages of safety and high capacity ***,we propose the electrical feedback strategy to restrain the Zn dendrites resulting from the"tip effect"and optimize interfacial Zn^(2+)distribution to accelerate electrodeposition kinetics by using the lithium niobate (LNO) ***,at the bumps of the zinc anode,the ferroelectric LNO is polarized by the locally strong electric field,which in turn counteracts the"tip effect".In this way,the dynamic polarization of LNO can repair the uneven tip electric field to achieve uniform and flat zinc *** addition,owing to the interaction between Nb and Zn^(2+),a higher concentration of Zn^(2+)near the zincophilic LNO@Zn surface is obtained for the rapid electrochemical reaction kinetics of *** the aforementioned advantages,the LNO@Zn anode harvests stable cycling over 1200 h at 10 mA cm^(-2)with a superior cumulative capacity of 5800 mAh cm^(-2).Assembled with the a-MnO_(2) cathode,the full cell using LNO@Zn anode exhibits the slower capacity decay (0.054%per cycle) during 1000 *** strategy provides a perspective for stabilizing zinc metal anodes through dynamic electrical response and interfacial ion redistribution effect.
