Objective: To present a case of a unicornuate uterus with ipsilateral ovarian and renal agenesis. Design: Case report. Setting: Baskent University Faculty of Medicine, Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology, Adana, Turkey. Patient(s): A 48- year- old gravida 3 (para 3 with term deliveries) woman with a 6- month history of menometrorrhagia was admitted to our clinic. Our diagnosis was a pedunculated submucous leiomyoma that protruded into the vagina. Intervention(s): The patient chose to have a total abdominal hysterectomy and unilateral salpingoopherectomy. Main Outcome Measure(s): During laparotomy, a unicornuate uterus with a noncommunicating horn, together with ipsilateral ovarian agenesis, was observed. A total abdominal hysterectomy and unilateral salpingoopherectomy were performed successfully. Because we could not detect the left ovary and left ureter during the operation, we planned an abdominal ultrasonography and intravenous pyelography (IVP) postoperatively to demonstrate possible urinary tract abnormalities. Result(s): We detected left renal agenesis by IVP. Conclusion(s): We presented a very rare clinical condition that demonstrates a unicornuate uterus with a noncommunicating horn, and ipsilateral ovarian and renal agenesis concomitantly. The absence of one ovary and one kidney in our case may be explained by the abnormal development of organs derived from a unilateral urogenital ridge.

目的III期临床研究结果显示恩替卡韦(eTV)治疗48周,在组织学改善、ALT复常和HBVDNA抑制方面均优于拉米夫定(LMV);肝纤维化的改善在核苷类似物初治患者中2个治疗组相似,在拉米夫定失效患者中,eTV明显优于LMV。对基线时表现为中重度肝纤维化/硬化患者(Ishak评分:4-6)进行亚组分析,评估eTV或LMV治疗48周的疗效。方法纤维化评分是由1位病理学家对基线和48周时标本进行评估,治疗组及标本先后顺序均对他设盲。结果对HBeAg(+)核苷类似物初治的患者,48周时肝纤维化发生改善的患者比例eTV组为57%,LMV组为49%;肝纤维化没变化的患者比例eTV组35%,LMV组为28%;肝纤维化恶化的患者比例eTV组为0,LMV组为6%;对HBeAg(-)核苷类似物初治的患者,48周时肝纤维化发生改善的患者比例eTV组为59%,LMV组为53%;肝纤维化没变化的患者比例eTV组为31%,LMV组为18%;肝纤维化恶化的患者比例eTV组为2%,LMV组为5%;对HBeAg(+)LMV失效的患者,48周时肝纤维化发生改善的患者比例eTV组为43%,LMV组为33%;肝纤维化没变化的患者比例eTV组为35%,LMV组为29%;肝纤维化恶化的患者比例eTV组为0,LMV组为19%。结论接受eTV治疗的中重度肝纤维化/硬化患者比接受LMV治疗更可能获得纤维化改善或不变,这些数据与其他治疗终点(全组人群的病毒学、生化学和Knodell评价的组织学改善情况)结果一致,均为eTV优于LMV。

The identification of jets originating from quarks and gluons,often referred to as quark/gluon tagging,plays an important role in various analyses performed at the Large Hadron Collider,as Standard Model measurements and searches for new particles decaying to quarks often rely on suppressing a large gluon-induced *** paper describes the measurement of the efficiencies of quark/gluon taggers developed within the ATLAS Collaboration,using √s=13 TeV proton–proton collision data with an integrated luminosity of 140 fb^(-1) collected by the ATLAS *** taggers with high performances in rejecting jets from gluon over jets from quarks are studied:one tagger is based on requirements on the number of inner-detector tracks associated with the jet,and the other combines several jet substructure observables using a boosted decision tree.A method is established to determine the quark/gluon fraction in data,by using quark/gluon-enriched subsamples defined by the jet *** in tagging efficiency between data and simulation are provided for jets with transverse momentum between 500 GeV and 2 TeV and for multiple tagger working points.

Celiac disease (CD) is a disease having the characteristic pathology of the mu cosa of the small intestine. The prevalence of CD in the Turkish population has not been investigated previously. The present study was designed to determine th e prevalence of CD in healthy blood donors. Serum samples of 2000 healthy blood donors presenting to Hacettepe University Faculty of Medicine Hospital Blood Ban k were tested for tissue transglutaminase (tTG) IgA and IgG antibodies with enzy me-linked immunosorbent assay (eLISA; euroimmune, Germany). The histopathologic al findings for the cases with positive serology were evaluated. The distributio n of sex was 95.7%male, and 4.3%female. The mean age was 33±9. Among 2000 don ors, 23 (1.15%) were positive for tTG IgA antibody and 3 (0.15%) were positive for tTG IgG antibody. None of the samples was positive for both antibodies. Ser um total IgA was measured in two cases with only tTG IgG positivity and was foun d to be low in one case. Twelve subjects positive for tTG agreed to endoscopy an d biopsy. Histopathological examination revealed changes classified as Marsh III -II in one,Marsh II in two, Marsh I in seven, and Marsh 0 in two donors. This w as the first study conducted to determine the prevalence of tTG positivity in th e Turkish population. The tTG antibody positivity prevalence in healthy blood do nors was as high as 1.3%. This study shows that the prevalence of CD in the Tur kish population is relatively high in comparison to that in the Western world.
