Formulation and evaluation of Albendazole microcapsules for colon delivery using chitosan

Objective:To formulate and evaluate Albendazole microcapsules using chitosan,a natural polymer for colon-specific delivery for better treatment of helminthiasis,filariasis,colorectal cancer,avoiding the side ***:The Albendazole microcapsules were prepared by the use of different concentrations of sodium alginate,chitosan and hydroxypropyl methylcellulose(HPMC).The polysaccharides chitosan reacted with sodium alginate in the presence of calcium chloride to form microcapsules with a polyelectrolyte complex membrane by electrostatic interactions between the two oppositely charged *** microcapsules were then studied for entrapment efficiency,drug-polymer compatibility and surface morphology. In vitro drug release study in presence and absence of cecal content were also ***, kinetic modellings were employed to find out release ***:Albendazole loaded microspheres showd high entrapment efficiency(72.8%) and the microcapsules were free flowing,non aggregated and spherical,between 600 and 1 000μm in *** surface of microcapsules were found to be porous and *** FT-IR spectrum showed that there is no interaction between the polymer and the *** in vitro drug release study found to be affected by change in chitosan,sodium alginate and HPMC *** microcapsules with 2.5% sodium alginate and 0.4% chitosan shown minimum release in gastrointestinal simulated condition but shows maximum drug release at the end of 24th hour in presence of cecal *** rate of drug release follows Korsmeyer-peppas model that was the drug release is by diffusion and ***:The study reveals that Albendazole loaded chitosanalginate based microsphere can be used effectively for the colon targeting.

Objective:To isolate and evaluate comparatively the binding efficacy of the mucilages obtained from the plants of Hibiscus rosasinensis and Okra(Abelmoschus esculentus).Methods:Extraction of mucilages from the leaves of Hibiscus and pods of Okra(Ladies finger) was carried out by a cold maceration *** extracted mucilages were subjected to various physicochemical properties for its suitability as an excipient in the formulation of tablet dosage *** concentrations(10,8,5,2 and 1%w/v) of binder solutions of Hibiscus and Okra were used for the formulation of tablets and the formulated tablets were evaluated by studying the standard parameters like diameter,thickness,weight variation,hardness,friability,disintegration and in vitro *** studies of the formulated tablets were conducted for four weeks. Results:The formulated tablets prepared using the mucilages of both Hibiscus and Okra had good *** in vitro drug release profile of the tablets prepared using Okra mucilage had an optimum of 90%at a mucilage concentration of 1%w/v concentration mucilage itself within 4 ***:According to the observations,the lower concentration levels of Okra can be used as an alternative binder to *** higher concentration levels of Okra mucilage show a slow and sustained release,and can be considered as an alternative natural excipient in the modified drug delivery *** the same time,the above natural excipient of Hibiscus mucilage could be used as a platform for prolonged release if its binder concentrations are increased.

Genome-wide identification,characterization and functional prediction of the SRS gene family in sesame(Sesamum indicum L.)

Sesame(Sesamum indicum L.)is an ancient oilseed crop of the Pedaliaceae family with high oil content and potential health *** RELATED SEQUENCE(SRS)proteins are the transcription factors(TFs)specific to plants that contain RING-like zinc finger domain and are associated with the regulation of several physiological and biochemical *** also play vital roles in plant growth and development such as root formation,leaf development,floral development,hormone biosynthesis,signal transduction,and biotic and abiotic stress ***,the SRS gene family was not reported in sesame *** this study,identification,molecular characterization,phylogenetic relationship,cis-acting regulatory elements,protein-protein interaction,syntenic relationship,duplication events and expression pattern of SRS genes were analyzed in *** identified total six SiSRS genes on seven different linkage groups in the *** genome by comparing with the other species,including the model plant Arabidopsis *** SiSRS genes showed variation in their structure like2–5 exons and 1–4 *** other species,SiSRS proteins also contained‘RING-like zinc finger'and‘LRP1'***,the SiSRS genes were clustered into subclasses via phylogenetic analysis with proteins of ***,***,and some other plant *** cis-acting regulatory elements analysis revealed that the promoter region of SiSRS4(SIN_1011561)showed the highest 13 and 16 elements for light-and phytohormone-responses whereas,SiSRS1(SIN_1015187)showed the highest 15 elements for *** ABREs,or ABA-responsive elements,were found in a maximum of 8 copies in the SiSRS3(SIN 1009100).Moreover,the available RNA-seq based expression of SiSRS genes revealed variation in expression patterns between stress-treated and non-treated samples,especially in drought and salinity conditions *** SiSRS genes like SiSRS1(SIN_1015187)and SiSRS5(SIN_1021065),also exhibited variabl

过硫酸铵氧化耦合过渡金属氧化物改性炭基催化剂低温SCR性能增强机制研究

本工作中利用过硫酸铵氧化耦合过渡金属氧化物改性制备V/OAC、Fe/OAC、Mn/OAC、Cu/OAC炭基催化剂,并通过催化活性测试和物理吸附-脱附、FT-IR、XPS、NH3-TPD、H2-TPR、EPR等表征手段探究改性炭基催化剂的低温SCR性能增强机制。结果表明,过硫酸铵氧化可向活性炭载体表面引入大量酸性含氧官能团,促进过渡金属氧化物中的氧空位形成,从而提升炭基催化剂的表面酸度和氧化还原性能,进而提升了炭基催化剂低温NH3-SCR性能。本工作发现,过硫酸铵氧化可诱导过渡金属元素(V、Fe、Mn、Cu)的低价态形成。因此,过硫酸铵氧化改性后,活性组分中低价态金属利于NH3-SCR反应的V/OAC、Fe/OAC催化剂性能提升显著,VOx/OAC和FeOx/OAC催化剂在100℃下的NO转化率分别从18.2%提升到34.8%和从34.2%提升到55.6%;而活性组分中高价态金属有利NH3-SCR反应的Mn/OAC和Cu/OAC催化剂性能提升有限,100℃下的NO转化率仅从61.4%提升到70.4%和61.3%提升到69.7%。本工作总结了过硫酸铵氧化改性对炭基催化剂表面金属价态的调控作用,有助于深入认识过硫酸铵氧化改性对炭基催化剂物化性质的调控规律,为高效炭基脱硝催化剂的开发提供指导和参考。

目的研究多层螺旋CT血管成像动态图像后处理运用于脑血管畸形病变患者中的效果。方法随机选取2020年10月—2023年10月聊城市人民医院接诊的70例疑似脑血管畸形病变患者为研究对象,将数字减影血管造影结果作为诊断金标准,并且提供多层螺旋CT血管成像动态图像后处理,应用CT多平面重组、三维容积漫游及联合诊断分析诊断效能。结果数字减影血管造影阳性检出率为48.57%,CT多平面重组诊断阳性检出率为42.86%,三维容积漫游诊断阳性检出率为44.29%,联合检查阳性检出率为51.43%。CT多平面重组诊断、三维容积漫游诊断的灵敏度、特异度、准确度相比,差异无统计学意义(P均>0.05)。联合诊断的灵敏度、准确度显著高于CT多平面重组诊断,差异有统计学意义(P均0.05)。结论多层螺旋CT血管成像动态图像后处理中,CT多平面重组联合三维容积漫游诊断运用于脑血管畸形病变患者中具有较高的诊断效能,诊断价值高。

Effect of contact geometry on the friction of acrylamide hydrogels with different surface structures

Polyacrylamide(PAAm)hydrogels with brush-covered or crosslinked surfaces were produced and their tribological behavior was studied over a wide range of sliding speeds for two different contact geometries:sphere-on-flat and *** of the contact geometry,the brushy hydrogel surfaces displayed up to an order of magnitude lower coefficients of frictionμ(COF)compared to the crosslinked surfaces,even achieving superlubricity(μsphere showed a lower coefficient of friction than a flat hydrogel pin at a similar contact pressure over the entire range of sliding ***,after normalizing the friction force by the contact area,the shear stress of hydrogels with either crosslinked or brushy surfaces was found to be similar for both contact geometries at low speeds,indicating that hydrogel friction is unaffected by the contact geometry at these *** high sliding speeds,the shear stress was found to be lower for a sphere-on-flat configuration compared to a flat-pin-on-flat *** can be attributed to the larger equivalent hydrodynamic thickness due to the convergent inlet zone ahead of the sphere-on-flat contact,which presumably enhances the water supply in the contact,promotes rehydration,and thus reduces the friction at high sliding speeds compared to that measured for the flat-pin-on-flat contact.

为了寻找对作物有促生高效的混合菌剂,本研究利用从广西石角红树林筛选的两株菌株(L113和L35)建立以糖蜜废弃物为载体的混合菌剂,采用钼锑抗比色试验筛选最佳混合菌株配方;通过正交试验确定复合菌株的最佳发酵条件;通过盆栽实验对混合菌株对888速生白菜的促生作用进行验证。钼锑抗实验结果表明,菌株L113和L35配比为1∶1(体积比)、接种量为3%(体积比)进行配制的混合菌株的溶磷量为89.12 mg/L,此条件下配制的混合菌株的磷含量最佳。正交试验结果表明,配制的混合菌株最佳发酵条件为温度30℃,p H值为7.5,发酵时间为72 h,实验验证复合菌株的混菌数为1×109CFU/mL。盆栽试验结果表明,菌株L113和L35混合对白菜具有良好的促生效果,施用混合菌液白菜幼苗的株高、鲜重、干重和叶片数分别较清水对照(CK1)显著提高19.35%、24.22%、33.21%和28.60%,分别较无菌培养基对照(CK2)提高4.22%、16.50%、22.22%和16.36%,说明通过两株混合菌液配制发酵液培养的白菜生长状况优于对照组。本实验以糖蜜为培养基研制的混合菌剂,为复合菌剂的进一步产业化生产和推广提供了菌株配方和重要的实验数据支持。

Si-Assisted Solidification Path and Microstructure Control of 7075 Aluminum Alloy with Improved Mechanical Properties by Selective Laser Melting

The construction and application of traditional high-strength 7075 aluminum alloy(Al7075) through selective laser melting(SLM) are currently restricted by the serious hot cracking phenomenon. To address this critical issue, in this study, Si is employed to assist the SLM printing of high-strength Al7075. The laser energy density during SLM is optimized, and the eff ects of Si element on solidification path, relative density, microstructure and mechanical properties of Al7075 alloy are studied systematically. With the modified solidification path, laser energy density, and the dense microstructure with refined grain size and semi-continuous precipitates network at grain boundaries, which consists of fine Si, β-MgSi, Q-phase and θ-AlCu, the hot cracking phenomenon and mechanical properties are eff ectively improved. As a result, the tensile strength of the SLM-processed Si-modified Al7075 can reach 486 ± 3 MPa, with a high relative density of ~ 99.4%, a yield strength of 291 ± 8 MPa, fracture elongation of(6.4 ± 0.4)% and hardness of 162 ± 2(HV) at the laser energy density of 112.5 J/mm~3. The main strengthening mechanism with Si modification is demonstrated to be the synergetic enhancement of grain refinement, solution strengthening, load transfer, and dislocation strengthening. This work will inspire more new design of high-strength alloys through SLM.

A simple method of tuning series cascade controllers for unstable systems

A simple method is proposed to design P/PI controllers for a series cascade control system for unstable first order plus time-delay （FOPTD） systems. In this paper, the controller design for unstable FOPTD systems cascaded in series with stable/unstable FOPTD systems is considered. The proposed method is based on equating the coefficients of corresponding powers of s and s2 in the numerator to α1 and α2 times those of the denominator of the closed-loop transfer function for a servo problem. The open loop system consists of an unstable FOPTD system cascaded in series with a stable/unstable FOPTD system. Only two tuning parameters （α1 and α2） are required for the design of controllers. The closed-loop performances are evaluated for both the servo and regulatory problems and the performances are found to be better than that of the well established synthesis method. The robustness for uncertainty in the model parameters is studied and compared with that of the controllers designed by the synthesis method.

Near horizon OTT black hole asymptotic symmetries and soft hair

We study the near horizon geometry of both static and stationary extremal Oliva Tempo Troncoso(OTT)black holes. For each of these cases, a set of consistent asymptotic conditions is introduced. The canonical generator for the static configuration is shown to be regular. For the rotating OTT black hole, the asymptotic symmetry is described by the time reparametrization, the chiral Virasoro and centrally extended u(1) Kac-Moody algebras.
