Premature birth,defined as birth before 37 weeks completed gestation,represents 11.1%of all live births worldwide and the rate has increased in almost all countries over the past few decades(dhillon et al.,2018).Although mortality after preterm birth has fallen steadily over time,preterm infants continue to have very high rates of neurodevelopmental disability,including severe motor disorders such as cerebral palsy(dhillon et al.,2018;Yates et al.,2021).

Introduction: kikuchi-Fujimoto disease (kFD), also known as histiocytic necrotizing lymphadenitis, is a rare disease of uncertain origin proposed to be secondary to viral or autoimmune causes. It presents as unilateral cervical lymphadenopathy and fever, typically resolving within a few months, however, it mimics malignant lymphoma, leading to extensive work-up fearing malignancy. Case History: A 33-year-old female with a history of Sjögren’s syndrome, rheumatoid arthritis (not on immunosuppressive therapy) and recent COVID-19 infection two months ago presented with episodes of flu-like symptoms;fever (101˚F), chills, and myalgias for two months. Upon evaluation, she had leukopenia (WBC 1.8 k/uL), neutropenia (1.0 k/uL), elevated CRP (134 mg/L), and CT neck demonstrated multiple enlarged cervical lymph nodes with necrosis. The patient was started on Cefdinir and doxycycline for a possible atypical infection given neutropenic fevers and the patient continued to have fevers. A biopsy showed focal necrosis with no evidence of malignancy, suggesting kFD that was likely triggered by a recent COVID infection. She was treated with Prednisone and naproxen, which led to an improvement in symptoms and recovery of her pancytopenia. Discussion: This case is unique since the patient’s recent infection with COVID-19 may have triggered the clinical manifestations of kFD. There have been a few case reports of children who were diagnosed with kFD after a COVID-19 infection and adults diagnosed with kFD following COVID vaccinations;however, this is the first case report involving a young adult in her thirties who was diagnosed with kFD two months after COVID-19.

Local fluoride contamination and bacterial infections in potable water have dangerous effects on the human body and are today a global *** this study,we have synthesized a pH-responsive bifunctional biopolymer nanocomposite(HAZ)of humic acid with incorporating aluminum zirconium bimetallic oxide by deep freeze–drying *** nucleation and interconnection of nanoparticles form a highly porous network because of sublimation of frozen *** duo nanocomposite has efficiently worked for fluoride removal and showed potent antibacterial activity against the Escherichia coli Gram-negative and Staphylococcus aureus Gram-positive *** X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy(XPS)analysis demonstrates that the hydroxyl groups act as a pivot in the ion exchange process of adsorption,each element of bimetallic oxide primarily takes part in the adsorption *** maximum adsorption capacity of the adsorbent was 180.62 mg/g at pH *** parameters like Gibbs free energy change(△G0),entropy(△S0),and enthalpy(△H0)indicate that the process was endothermic,feasible,and taken place by a chemisorption *** is the first novel freeze–dried bifunctional biopolymer nanocomposite composed of humic acid natural polymer incorporated with Al–Zr metal oxide,and it exhibited three times higher adsorption efficacy with excellent antibacterial action at a concentration of 5μg/mL of the nanocomposite.

The present study was carried out at Punjab Agricultural University,Ludhiana,*** clones of Eucalyptus *** evaluated for tolerance to gall *** total number of galls per plant were recorded at 1 month after planting（MAP） and the number of galls per branch were recorded at 4 and 7 *** wasp incidence（number of galls） was recorded on a whole plant basis during the seedling stage and the number of galls were recorded from the upper,middle and lower crown places at 4 and 7 *** was done on the basis of relative gall-wasp damage by keeping in view the total number of galls per plant and branch（leaves and petiole）.No clone was found free from gall *** C-526,P-23 and P-103 were the least attacked by the gall *** as indicated by number of galls caused by Leptocybe invasa on eucalypts was higher in March than in December.

Introduction Selenium(Se) is a naturally occurring trace element in soils with concentrations varying from below 0.1 to 10μg g or above;although Se concentrations as high as 1200 mg kg have been reported in some seleniferous *** low intake levels,Se is an essential micronutrient for both human beings and animals,but high levels of dietary intake or ingestion can result in Se *** mobility and bioavailability of Se and its toxicity to the biosphere are related to its association with various soil constituents rather than to its total concentration.

A 21-year-old male with no significant past medical history, presented with right upper quadrant(RUQ) abdominal pain along with fevers and chills. Lab work revealed leukocytosis, anemia, and slightly elevated alkaline phosphatase. Viral serology for hepatitis B virus, hepatitis C virus, and human immunodeficiency virus were negative and he was *** tomography imaging revealed hepatic abscesses, the largest measuring 9.5 cm. Empiric antibiotics were started and percutaneous drains were placed in the abscesses. Anaerobic cultures from the abscesses grew Fusobacterium nucleatum. This is a gram negative anaerobic bacteria; a normal flora of the oral cavity. Fusobacterium is most commonly seen in Lemiere's disease, which is translocation of oral bacteria to the internal jugular vein causing a thrombophlebitis and subsequent spread of abscesses. Our patient did not have Lemiere's, and is the first case described of fusobacterium pyogenic liver abscess in a young immunocompetent male with good oral hygiene. This case was complicated by sepsis, empyema, and subsequent abscesses located outside the liver. These abscesses' have the propensity to flare abruptly and can be fatal. This case not only illustrates fusobacterium as a rare entity for pyogenic liver abscess, but also the need for urgent diagnosis and treatment. It is incumbent on physicians to diagnose and drain any suspicious hepatic lesions. While uncommon, such infections may develop without any overt source and can progress rapidly. Prompt drainage with antibiotic therapy remains the cornerstone of therapy.

Probabilistic Analysis of a Robot System with Redundant Safety Units and Common-Cause Failures

This paper presents reliability and availability analyses of a model representing a system having one robot and n-redundant safety units with common-cause failures. At least k safety units must function successfully for the robot system success. The robot and other failure rates and the partially failed system repair rates are assumed constant and the failed robot-safety system repair time is assumed arbitrarily distributed. Markov and supplementary variable methods were used to perform mathematical analysis of this model. Generalized expressions for state probabilities, system availabilities, reliability, mean time to failure, and variance of time to failure are developed. Plots of some resulting expressions are shown.
