Electrolyte and current collector designs for stable lithium metal anodes

With the increasing demand for high energy-density batteries for portable electronics and large-scale energy storage systems,the lithium metal anode(LMA)has received tremendous attention because of its high theoretical capacity and low redox ***,the commercial application of LMAs is impeded by the uncontrolled growth of lithium *** dendrite growth may result in internal short circuits,detrimental side reactions,and the formation of dead ***,the growth of lithium metal must be *** article summarizes our recent efforts in inhibiting such dendrite growth,decreasing the detrimental side reactions,and elongating the LMA lifespan by optimizing the electrolyte structure and by designing appropriate current *** identifying that the unstable solid electrolyte inter-face(SEI)film is responsible for the potential dropping in carbonate electrolytes,we developed LiPF_(6)-LiNO_(3) dual-salt electrolyte and lithium bis(fluorosulfonyl)imide(LiFSI)-carbonate electrolyte to stabilize the SEI film of *** addition,we achieved controlled lithium depos-ition by designing the structure and material of the current collectors,including selective lithium deposition in porous current collectors,lithio-philic metal guided lithium deposition,and iron carbide induced underpotential lithium deposition in *** limitations of the cur-rent strategies and prospects for future research are also presented.

Optimizing the fabrication of carbon nanotube electrode for effective capacitive deionization via electrophoretic deposition strategy

In order to obtain superior electrode performances in capacitive deionization（CDI）, the electrophoretic deposition（EPD） was introduced as a novel strategy for the fabrication of carbon nanotube（CNT） *** parameters, including the concentration of slurry components, deposition time and electric field intensity, were mainly investigated and optimized in terms of electrochemical characteristic and desalination performance of the deposited CNT electrode. The SEM image shows that the CNT material was deposited homogeneously on the current collector and a non-crack surface of the electrode was obtained. An optimal preparation condition of the deposited CNT electrode was obtained and specified as the Al（NO3）3 M concentration of 1.3 × 10;mol/L, the deposition time of 30 min and the electric field intensity of 15 V/cm. The obtained electrode performs an increasing specific mass capacitance of 33.36 F/g and specific adsorption capacity of 23.93 mg/g, which are 1.62 and 1.85 times those of the coated electrode respectively. The good performance of the deposited CNT electrode indicates the promising application of the EPD methodology in subsequent research and fabrication of the CDI electrodes for CDI process.

All eukaryotic cells can secrete extracellular vesicles, which have a double-membrane structure and are important players in the intercellular communication involved in a variety of important biological processes. Platelets form platelet-derived microparticles (PMPs) in response to activation, injury, or apoptosis. This review introduces the origin, pathway, and biological functions of PMPs and their importance in physiological and pathological processes. In addition, we review the potential applications of PMPs in cancer, vascular homeostasis, thrombosis, inflammation, neural regeneration, biomarkers, and drug carriers to achieve targeted drug delivery. In addition, we comprehensively report on the origin, biological functions, and applications of PMPs. The clinical transformation, high heterogeneity, future development direction, and limitations of the current research on PMPs are also discussed in depth. Evidence has revealed that PMPs play an important role in cell-cell communication, providing clues for the development of PMPs as carriers for relevant cell-targeted drugs. The development history and prospects of PMPs and their cargos are explored in this guidebook.

The Clinical Application Value of Selective Unifocalization in the Treatment of Severe Pulmonary Artery Atresia with Ventricular Septal Defect

Risk factors of distal segment aortic enlargement after complicated type B aortic dissection

Objectives:Distal segment aortic enlargement(DSAE)is a common complication that influences the long-term prognosis of type B aortic dissection(TBAD)after thoracic endovascular aortic repair(TEVAR).In this study,a multivariate analysis was performed to find potential factors predictive of ***:A single-center retrospective study was performed from 1999 to *** in the study were complicated TBAD patients who underwent TEVAR with uncovered residual *** on the diameter of the distal segment of the uncovered aorta,we assigned patients to an enlargement group and a non-enlargement *** extracted from the medical records included demographic and clinical characteristics and followup computed tomography angiography *** primary endpoints were the all-cause mortality and the presumably aortic-related events that required reintervention during the follow-up ***:For the 333 patients,all-cause mortality was 38(11.41%),and 76(22.82%)patients underwent reintervention.A total of 70(21.02%)patients experienced DSAE,among them were 2 patients who died of aortic rupture and 58 patients who accepted *** analysis reviewed independent risk factors of postoperative DSAE,including current smoking,the residual length of the patent false lumen,the postoperative number of dissection tears in the thoracic aorta and type III aortic arch;as well as protective factors,including the application of a restrictive bare stent(RBS),the length of covered stent in the descending thoracic aorta,and the distance from the residual first tear to the left subclavian artery(LSA).Conclusion:DSAE after TEVAR for patients with a complicated TBAD can be influenced by their current smoking habit,the residual length of patent false lumen,the postoperative number of dissection tears in the thoracic aorta and the aortic arch ***,RBS usage,the length of the covered stent in the descending thoracic aorta and the distance from the residual

Formation and evolution of petroliferous basins in African continent and their hydrocarbon distribution

There are eighty sedimentary basins in five different types in African continent,*** sag basin,foreland basin,intermountain basin,passive margin basin and rift basin,which underwent the stress environment of stable *** first three types of basins had been intensely influenced by Hercynian and Alpine tectonic movement,while the later two types of basins always exist in a stable extension *** basin evolution caused the obviously hydrocarbon distribution *** North Africa,marginal craton sag and rift basins show great expedition potential of hydrocarbon,marginal craton sag basins had good formation and preservation of Lower Silurian hot shale,tectonic-strata traps and migration pathway formed by Hercynian unconformity,and rift basins had excellent Upper Cretaceous marine source rocks and good hydrocarbon preservation with little tectonic ***,in the salt-containing passive margin basins and delta basins of West Africa,thick strata containing high quality source rocks and plastic strata were well *** rocks of high maturity,good hydrocarbon preservation,growth faults and deformational structure traps were formed by abundant overlying sediments and sources supplied from Tertiary large water system.

In comparison to monolayer(1L),multilayer(ML)two-dimensional(2D)semiconducting transition metal dichalcogenides(TMDs)exhibit more application potential for electronic and optoelectronic devices due to their improved current carrying capability,higher mobility,and broader spectral ***,the investigation of devices based on wafer-scale ML-TMDs is still restricted by the synthesis of uniform and high-quality ML *** this work,we propose a strategy of stacking MoS_(2) monolayers via a vacuum transfer method,by which one could obtain wafer-scale high-quality MoS_(2) films with the desired number of layers at *** optical characteristics of these stacked ML-MoS_(2) films(>2L)indicate a weak interlayer *** stacked MLMoS_(2) phototransistors show improved optoelectrical performances and a broader spectral response(approximately 300-1,000 nm)than that of 1L-MoS_(2).Additionally,the dual-gate ML-MoS_(2) transistors enable enhanced electrostatic control over the stacked ML-MoS_(2) channel,and the 3L and 4L thicknesses exhibit the optimal device performances according to the turning point of the current on/off ratio and the subthreshold swing.

Fast-charging lithium-ion batteries are highly required,especially in reducing the mileage anxiety of the widespread electric *** of the biggest bottlenecks lies in the sluggish kinetics of the Li^(+)intercalation into the graphite anode;slow intercalation will lead to lithium metal plating,severe side reactions,and safety *** premise to solve these problems is to fully understand the reaction pathways and rate-determining steps of graphite during fast Li^(+)***,we compare the Li^(+)diffusion through the graphite particle,interface,and electrode,uncover the structure of the lithiated graphite at high current densities,and correlate them with the reaction kinetics and electrochemical *** is found that the rate-determining steps are highly dependent on the particle size,interphase property,and electrode *** Li^(+)diffusion leads to high polarization,incomplete intercalation,and the coexistence of several staging *** Li^(+)diffusion and electrode transportation are the main rate-determining steps if the particle size is less than 10μ*** former is highly dependent on the electrolyte chemistry and can be enhanced by constructing a fluorinated *** findings enrich the understanding of the graphite structural evolution during rapid Li^(+)intercalation,decipher the bottleneck for the sluggish reaction kinetics,and provide strategic guidelines to boost the fast-charging performance of graphite anode.

数字素养是社会数智化转型时期公民应具备的重要素养之一,公共图书馆作为信息与教育机构,其提供的数字素养教育服务对于提升公众数字技能和理解、消除数字鸿沟,推进数字中国建设与社会数字创新等具有重要现实意义。文章以文献调研法、网络分析法获取了美国公共图书馆的数字素养教育实践信息,力求综合展现在社会数智化转型时期美国公共图书馆在数字素养教育服务领域的实践成果。文章经调研发现,美国公共图书馆已经形成较为成熟的数字素养教育服务体系,建议我国公共图书馆抓住社会发展机遇,积极推动服务守正创新,结合美国经验优化国内数字素养服务,提升全民数字素养,以推动我国公共图书馆在数智化转型时期实现高质量发展。
