The recently published study by Duan et al introduces a promising method that combines genomic instability and long non-coding RNAs to improve the prognostic evaluation of hepatocellular carcinoma(HCC),a deadly cancer associated with considerable morbidity and *** editorial aims to analyze the methodology,key findings,and broader implications of the study within the fields of gastroenterology and oncological surgery,highlighting the shift towards precision medicine in the management of HCC.
