Effects of different water levels on phytoplankton in the Harbin section of the Songhua River

The functional diversity index of a phytoplankton body has gradually become a new mean of measuring and *** explore the response of phytoplankton taxonomy and the functional diversity index to interannual environmental changes,a survey on the structure of the phytoplankton community and water physicochemical characteristics of the water was carried out at 28 sampling points in the Harbin section of the Songhua River for three consecutive years in every May from 2021 to *** taxonomy diversity index and the functional diversity index were ***,The relationship between the structure of the characteristics of the community and environmental factors was explored;secondly,we reveal the responses of taxonomic and functional diversity indices to different habitats between years;finally,we explore the main environmental factors that control the taxonomic and functional diversity indices of *** show that,initially,environmental factors in water changes caused by different water levels between years affected the composition of phytoplankton ***,by comparing the taxonomic diversity index and the functional diversity index on a time scale,we found that the taxonomic diversity index was more responsive to environmental ***,the main environmental factors on the phytoplankton taxonomic diversity index were dissolved oxygen,Taxonomic diversity index,and specific conductivity,and the main environmental factors that affected the functional diversity index were dissolved oxygen,turbidity,and water *** study reveals the important role of the taxonomic diversity index in river water quality evaluation,obtained new information on the relative precision of the taxonomic diversity index and the functional diversity index in the evaluation of ecological health of the water,and provided a reliable tool for monitoring river water quality based on aquatic organisms.

Dual contour edge information fusion for 3D aircraft skin circular hole detection

Adaptive-basis decomposition-based low-rank network for efficient non-uniform motion deblurring

In this study, we present a unified sparsity-driven framework that significantly enhances motion deblurring performance by integrating two key components: a custom-designed dataset and a low-rank module(LRM). This framework leverages the inherent sparsity of per-pixel blur kernels to bolster both deblurring accuracy and model interpretability. Firstly, we propose an adaptive-basis decomposition-based deblurring(ADD) approach, which constructs a tailored training dataset to enhance the generalization capacity of the deblurring network. The ADD framework adaptively decomposes motion blur into sparse basis elements, effectively addressing the intricacies associated with non-uniform blurs. Secondly, an LRM is proposed to improve the interpretability of deblurring models as a plug-and-play module, primarily designed to identify and harness the intrinsic sparse features in sharp images. A series of ablation studies have been conducted to substantiate the synergistic advantages of combining the proposed ADD with the LRM for overall improvement in deblurring efficacy. Subsequently, we empirically demonstrate through rigorous experimentation that incorporating the LRM into an existing Uformer network leads to substantial enhancement in reconstruction performance. This integration yields a sparsity-guided low-rank network(SGLRN). Operating under the overarching principle of sparsity, SGLRN consistently outperforms state-of-the-art methods across multiple standard deblurring benchmarks. Comprehensive experimental results, assessed through quantitative metrics and qualitative visual evaluations, provide compelling evidence of its effectiveness. The formation of an embedded electron current sheet within the magnetotail plasma sheet has been poorly *** this article,we present an electron current layer detected at the edge of the magnetotail plasma *** ions were demagnetized inside the electron current layer,but the electrons were still frozen in with the magnetic field ***,this decoupling of ions and electrons gave rise to a strong Hall electric field,which could be the reason for the formation of the embedded thin current *** magnetized electrons,the absence of the nongyrotropic electron distribution,and negligible energy dissipation in the layer indicate that magnetic reconnection had not been triggered within the embedded thin current *** highly asymmetric plasma on the two sides of the current layer and low magnetic shear across it could suppress magnetic *** observations indicate that the embedded electric current layer,probably generated by the Hall electric field,even down to electron scale,is not a sufficient condition for magnetic reconnection.

Low-profile,low sidelobe array antenna with ultrawide beam coverage for UAV communication

This paper presents a design method to implement an antenna array characterized by ultra-wide beam coverage,low profile,and low Sidelobe Level(SLL)for the application of Unmanned Aerial Vehicle(UAV)air-to-ground *** array consists of ten broadside-radiating,ultrawide-beamwidth elements that are cascaded by a central-symmetry series-fed network with tapered currents following Dolph-Chebyshev distribution to provide low ***,an innovative design of end-fire Huygens source antenna that is compatible with metal ground is presented.A low-profile,half-mode Microstrip Patch Antenna(MPA)is utilized to serve as the magnetic dipole and a monopole is utilized to serves as the electric dipole,constructing the compact,end-fire,grounded Huygens source ***,two opposite-oriented end-fire Huygens source antennas are seamlessly integrated into a single antenna element in the form of monopole-loaded MPA to accomplish the ultrawide,broadside-radiating *** consideration has been applied into the design of series-fed network as well as antenna element to compensate the adverse coupling effects between elements on the radiation *** indicates an ultrawide Half-Power Beamwidth(HPBW)of 161°and a low SLL of-25 dB with a high gain of 12 d Bi under a single-layer *** concurrent ultrawide beamwidth and low SLL make it particularly attractive for applications of UAV air-to-ground communication.

COMPrompter: reconceptualized segment anything model with multiprompt network for camouflaged object detection

We rethink the segment anything model(SAM) and propose a novel multiprompt network called COMPrompter for camouflaged object detection(COD). SAM has zero-shot generalization ability beyond other models and can provide an ideal framework for COD. Our network aims to enhance the single prompt strategy in SAM to a multiprompt strategy. To achieve this, we propose an edge gradient extraction module, which generates a mask containing gradient information regarding the boundaries of camouflaged objects. This gradient mask is then used as a novel boundary prompt, enhancing the segmentation process. Thereafter, we design a box-boundary mutual guidance module, which fosters more precise and comprehensive feature extraction via mutual guidance between a boundary prompt and a box prompt. This collaboration enhances the model's ability to accurately detect camouflaged objects. Moreover, we employ the discrete wavelet transform to extract high-frequency features from image embeddings. The high-frequency features serve as a supplementary component to the multiprompt ***, our COMPrompter guides the network to achieve enhanced segmentation results, thereby advancing the development of SAM in terms of COD. Experimental results across COD benchmarks demonstrate that COMPrompter achieves a cutting-edge performance, surpassing the current leading model by an average positive metric of 2.2% in COD10K. In the specific application of COD, the experimental results in polyp segmentation show that our model is superior to top-tier methods as well. Machine learning-based aftershock seismicity of the 2015 Gorkha earthquake controlled by flat-ramp geometry and a tear fault

The Main Himalayan Thrust(MHT),where the 2015 MW7.8 Gorkha earthquake occurred,features the most seismicity of any structure in *** structural complexity of the MHT makes it difficult to obtain a definitive interpretation of deep seismogenic *** application of new methods and data in this region is necessary to enhance local seismic hazard *** this study,we used a well-designed machine learning-based earthquake location workflow(LOC-FLOW),which incorporates machine learning phase picking,phase association,absolute location,and double-difference relative location,to process seismic data collected by the Hi-CliMB and NAMASTE seismic *** built a high-precision earthquake catalog of both the quiet-period and aftershock seismicity in this *** seismicity distribution suggests that the quietperiod seismicity(388 events)was controlled by a mid-crustal ramp and the aftershock seismicity(12,669 events)was controlled by several geological structures of the *** higher-level detail of the catalogs derived from this machine learning method reveal clearer structural characteristics,showing how the flat-ramp geometry and a possible duplex structure affect the depth distribution of the seismic events,and how a tear fault changes this distribution along strike.

Conductive polymer foam(CPF)with excellent compressibility and variable resistance has promising applications in electromagnetic interference(EMI)shielding and other integrated functions for wearable ***,its insufficient change amplitude of resistance with compressive strain generally leads to a degradation of shielding performance during ***,an innovative loading strategy of conductive materials on polymer foam is proposed to significantly increase the contact probability and contact area of conductive components under *** inter-skeleton conductive films are constructed by loading alginate-decorated magnetic liquid metal on the polymethacrylate films hanged between the foam skeleton(denoted as AMLM-PM foam).Traditional point contact between conductive skeletons under compression is upgraded to planar contact between conductive ***,the resistance change of AMLM-PM reaches four orders of magnitude under ***,the inter-skeleton conductive films can improve the mechanical strength of foam,prevent the leakage of liquid metal and increase the scattering area of EM ***-PM foam has strain-adaptive EMI shielding performance and shows compression-enhanced shielding effectiveness,solving the problem of traditional CPFs upon *** upgrade of resistance response also enables foam to achieve sensitive pressure sensing over a wide pressure range and compression-regulated Joule heating function.

Plants have mechanisms to transport secondary metabolites from where they are biosynthesized to the sites where they function, or to sites such as the vacuole for detoxification. However, current research has mainly focused on metabolite biosynthesis and regulation, and little is known about their transport. Tanshinone, a class diterpenoid with medicinal properties, is biosynthesized in the periderm of Salvia miltiorrhiza roots. Here, we discovered that tanshinone can be transported out of peridermal cells and secreted into the soil environment and that the ABC transporter SmABCG1 is involved in the efflux of tanshinone ⅡA and tanshinoneⅠ. The SmABCG1 gene is adjacent to the diterpene biosynthesis gene cluster in the S. miltiorrhiza genome. The temporal–spatial expression pattern of SmABCG1 is consistent with tanshinone accumulation profiles. SmABCG1 is located on the plasma membrane and preferentially accumulates in the peridermal cells of S. miltiorrhiza roots. Heterologous expression in Xenopus laevis oocytes demonstrated that SmABCG1 can export tanshinoneⅡA and tanshinone Ⅰ. CRISPR/Cas9-mediated mutagenesis of SmABCG1 in S. miltiorrhiza hairy roots resulted in a significant decrease in tanshinone contents in both hairy roots and the culture medium,whereas overexpression of this gene resulted in increased tanshinone contents. CYP76AH3 transcript levels increased in hairy roots overexpressing SmABCG1 and decreased in knockout lines, suggesting that SmABCG1 may affect the expression of CYP76AH3, indirectly regulating tanshinone biosynthesis. Finally, tanshinone ⅡA showed cytotoxicity to Arabidopsis roots. These findings offer new perspectives on plant diterpenoid transport and provide a new genetic tool for metabolic engineering and synthetic biology research.
