Fecal microbiota transplantation(FMT)has shown promising results in animal models of obesity,while results in human studies are *** aimed to determine factors associated with weight loss after FMT in nine obese subjects using serial multi-omics analysis of the fecal and mucosal *** mucosal microbiome,fecal microbiome,and fecal metabolome showed individual clustering in each subject after *** colonic microbiome in patients showed more marked variance after FMT compared with the duodenal microbiome,characterized by an increased relative abundance of *** who lost weight after FMT sustained enrichment of Bifidobacterium bifidum and Alistipes onderdonkii in the duodenal,colonic mucosal,and fecal microbiome and increased levels of phosphopantothenate biosynthesis and fecal metabolite eicosapentaenoic acid(EPA),compared with those without weight *** levels of amino acid metabolism-associated were positively correlated with the fecal abundance of ***,and fatty acid metabolism-associated metabolites showed positive correlations with ***.

Objective:To investigate the interrelationship between cardiovascular health awareness,risk perception,behavioural intention,and INTERHEART risk stratification in a middle-aged adult population in ***:A cross-sectional survey with convenience sampling was conducted during November 2022 and January *** completed validated questionnaires assessing cardiovascular health awareness,risk perception of cardiovascular diseases,behavioural intention towards adopting healthy habits,and INTERHEART risk stratification score(IHRS)based on established risk factors.A total of 602 respondents were included in the final *** were analysed with independent t-test/one-way ANOVA or Mann-Whitney/Kruskal-Wallis to test the differences,Pearson correlation or linear regression test to analyze the association of independent and dependent ***:There was a significant positive correlation between medical knowledge related to cardiovascular disease(cVD)and knowledge related to cVD risk prevention,risk perception,behavioural intention and IHRS(Pcorrelation).Notably,individuals with higher IHRS tended to have lower knowledge related to cVD and cVD risk prevention,risk perception,and behavioural ***,laborers,active/former smokers,individuals with lower household income and educational levels,those involved in occupations not related to the healthcare sector,and those who did not receive the cVD health brochure or are unaware of health self-assessment tools are likely to have lower levels of knowledge,risk perception,and poorer behavioural intention regarding cardiovascular health(Pcational level,smoking status,awareness about cVD poster,self-assessment tools were repeatedly significantly associated with knowledge related to cVD and cVD risk prevention,risk perception,behavioral intention and/or IHRS(Pconclusions:These findings underscore the importance of promoting car

In this work, we study the regional dependence of transport behavior of microalgae chlorella vulgaris inside microflu- idic channel on applied fluid flow rate. The microalgae are treated as spherical naturally buoyant particles. Deviation from the normal diffusion or Brownian transport is characterized based on the scaling behavior of the mean square displacement （MSD） of the particle trajectories by resolving the displacements in the streamwise （flow） and perpendicular directions. The channel is divided into three different flow regions, namely center region of the channel and two near-wall boundaries and the particle motions are analyzed at different flow rates. We use the scaled Brownian motion to model the transitional characteristics in the scaling behavior of the MSDs. We find that there exist anisotropic anomalous transports in all the three flow regions with mixed sub-diffusive, normal and super-diffusive behavior in both longitudinal and transverse directions.

AIM:To study serological antibodies in caucasians and Asians,in health and inflammatory bowel disease(IBD),in Australia and Hong Kong(HK).METHODS:Anti-glycan antibodies[anti-chitobioside(AccA),anti-laminaribioside(ALcA)],and anti-mannobioside(AMcA),anti-Saccharomyces cervisiae(gAScA);and atypical perinuclear anti-neutrophil cytoplasmic antibody(pANcA)were tested in IBD patients,their unaffected relatives,and healthy controls in Australia and HK(china).Antibody status(positive or negative)and titre was compared between subjects of different geography,ethnicity and disease ***:Ninety subjects were evaluated:21 crohn’s disease(cD),32 ulcerative colitis(Uc),29 healthy controls,and 8 IBD patient *** eight subjects were Australian(29 caucasian and 19 ethnic Han chinese)and 42 were from HK(all Han chinese).caucasian cD patients had a significantly higher antibody prevalence of gAScA(67%vs 3%,PcA(44%vs 6%,P=0.005),and AMcA(67%vs 15%,P=0.002),whereas HK cD patients had a higher prevalence of only AMcA(58%vs 25%,P=0.035),when compared with Uc and healthy subjects in both *** cD had significantly higher gAScA prevalence(67%vs 0%,PcD *** and titres of ALcA,AccA and AMcA did not differ between cD in the two *** of at least one antibody was higher in caucasian than HK cD patients(100%vs 58%,P=0.045).pANcA did not differ between countries or ***:Serologic cD responses differ between HK Asian and Australian caucasian *** genetic,environmental or disease pathogenic factors may account for these differences.

The increasing prevalence of diabetes has become a global public health concern in the 21st *** 2021,it was estimated that 537 million people had diabetes,and this number is projected to reach 643 million by 2030,and 783 million by 2045[1].Such a huge burden of diabetes brings great challenges in its prevention and management,including early diagnosis,timely interventions,and regular monitoring of risk factor control and complications *** self-care support and patient empowerment can enhance clinical and psychobehavioural outcomes[2],although these require additional resources including manpower,infrastructure(hard and technology),and *** emergence of digital health technologies(DHTs),especially artificial intelligence(AI),may help address these obstacles and alleviate the burden of diabetes[3].Large language models(LLMs),a generative AI that can accept image and text inputs and produce text outputs,have shown promise in various aspects of medical care.

This paper presents an adaptive human-machine interface(HMI)that can provide appropriate sets of digital maintenanceinformation and guidance to an operator during *** takes into consideration the expertise level of the operator and the maintenance context and *** proposed human-centric methodology considers the heart rate,intention,and expertise level of the operator,which can be captured using sensors during maintenance.A set of rules is formulated based on the sensor data to infer the state of the operator during a maintenance *** on the operator state,the adaptive HMI can augment the operator's senses using a scheme that combines visual,audio,and haptic guidance cues during maintenance to enhance the operator's ability to perceive information and perform maintenance *** schemes of visual,audio,and haptic cues are developed based on a comparison of the best practices obtained from experienced operators.

This study develops a novel cervical precancerous detection system by using texture analysis of field emission scanning electron microscopy(FE-SEM)*** processing scheme adopted in the proposed system focused on two *** first step was to enhance cervical cell FE-SEM images in order to show the precancerous characterization indicator.A problem arises from the question of how to extract features which characterize cervical precancerous *** the first step,a preprocessing technique called intensity transformation and morphological operation(ITMO)algorithm used to enhance the quality of images was *** algo-rithm consisted of contrast stretching and morphological opening *** second step was to characterize the cervical cells to three classes,namely normal,low grade intra-epithelial squamous lesion(LSIL),and high grade intra-epithelial squamous lesion(HSIL).To differen-tiate between normal and precancerous cells of the cervical cell FE-SEM images,human papillomavirus(HPV)contained in the surface of cells were used as *** this paper,we investigated the use of texture as a tool in determining precancerous cell images based on the observation that cell images have a distinct visual *** level co-occurrences matrix(GLcM)technique was used to extract the texture *** confirm the system's perfor-mance,the system was tested using 150 cervical cell FE-SEM *** results showed that the accuracy,sensitivity and specificity of the proposed system are 95.7%,95.7%and 95.8%,respectively.
