Objective:To explore the growth performance of low-cost mobile hatchery produced silver barb(Barbodes gonionotus)fingerling comparing with typical one,field laboratory complex ***:Assigning Treatment I and Treatment II stoked with low-cost mobile hatchery and field laboratory complex hatchery originated fingerling of silver barb in plastic circular ***:The average weight gain(g/day)of fish was 0.18 and 0.16 g,length gain(cm/d)0.03 and 0.02,gross yield 0.09 and 0.08 kg/tank per month,net yield 0.03 and 0.01 kg/tank per month respectively in Treatment I and Treatment *** growth of low-cost mobile hatchery produced silver barb was higher(P<0.05)although SGR(%/d)was 1.63 and 1.89 and FCR was 2.57 and 2.55 for Treatment I and Treatment II,correspondingly and survival was 100%in both *** case of economic efficiency,total operating cost were BDT 68.91 and 67.41,revenue BDT 107.35 and 89.30,net profit BDT 38.44 and 21.89 and BCR 1.55 and 1.32 respectively in low-cost mobile hatchery and field laboratory complex hatchery produced ***:The fry from both origins showed more or less similar growth performance and none of them was *** the economic feasibility in both cases,it is assumed that the intensive culture of silver barb is possible at field level.

Background In the Indo-Gangetic Plain, rice–wheat is the most extensively practiced crop rotation. The escalating issue of crop residue burning, particularly rice straw, and the necessity to lower the exorbitant expenses associated with fertilizer inputs stand out as significant challenges for farmers in the region. A well-suited integrated nutrient management（INM） strategy that focuses on recycling crop residues can serve as a solution to address these issues. Such a strategy not only mitigates air pollution resulting from residue burning but also helps combat water pollution due to nitrate losses from agroecosystems. Field experiments were used to evaluate the suitability of eight INM-modules that included various combinations of inorganic fertilizer rates（50%, 100%, 150% of recommended dose）, crop residues（wheat and rice stubble retention at 30 cm standing stubble equivalent to 1/3 the straw yield）, rice straw compost（RSC）, farmyard manure（FYM）, and green manuring（GM）, compared to 100% recommended dose of fertilizers（F） and no fertilizer *** There was a considerable improvement in nitrogen mineralization, grain yields, and nitrogen use efficiency under GM + RSC-F50 and GM + FYM-F50. These INM modules would permit a 50% reduction in the use of chemical fertilizers. There was a little yield penalty with in situ rice residue incorporation at 100% F; however, this could be overcome with 150% F fertilizer application. In situ retention of wheat straw with a full application of fertilizer resulted in steadily rising crop yields over time. Changes in the redox potential, soil p H, and soil organic carbon best accounted for the observed trajectories in nitrogen use *** The most promising INM modules for adoption by farmers in the Indo-Gangetic Plain to judiciously use crop residues and curtail chemical fertilizer inputs are green manuring with Sesbania aculeata + rice straw compost at 5 t ha-1+ only 50% of recommended dose of fertilizers

Metal additive manufacturing,especially laser powder bed fusion(L-PBF),is increasingly being used to fabricate complex parts with fine *** L-PBF systems have large build volumes and several lasers that op-erate ***,they can produce large and complex parts at reduced costs and short build ***,the thermal distortion remains a critical ***,a thorough understanding of the impact of multiple lasers on part distortion in multi-laser PBF(ML-PBF)is *** experimental investigation is possible,a more conducive approach is to design and create suitable predictive models to understand the impact of multiple lasers consolidating a part into *** fulfill this goal,in this study,a commercially available and widely used thermo-mechanical model,Netfabb,was used to investigate the effects of multiple lasers for com-plex scan patterns such as raster,spiral,and Hilbert on the temperature distribution and thermal *** results show that the thermal distortion is minimal for the spiral scan ***,multiple lasers were found to decrease the build time(as expected)while maintaining or reducing the thermal distortion compared with their single-laser counterparts for all scan patterns(except Hilbert).Therefore,the newly developed ML-PBF predictive model is capable of providing critical insights into the effects of using multiple lasers,thereby opening new possibilities for the faster production of complex *** the future,small-scale computational models will be expanded to include large-scale parts,and probabilistic models will be developed to establish correlations.

Electric discharge is a common tool nowadays for machining of materials. It may be through a liquid medium or through air. Any metals, hard alloys, and nonmetals can be machined using the energy of electric discharge. In electric discharge machining (EDM), the discharge occurs between two electrodes through a liquid medium and it is applicable only for electrically con ducting materials and alloys. In electrochemical discharge machining (ECDM), the medium is an aqueous electrolyte and it is of two types. In the first type, the discharge occurs between two electrodes. One of the electrodes is the workpiece, and the other is the tool. In the second type, the discharge occurs between one electrode and an electrolyte. It is used for electrically nonconducting materials and the discharge energy is utilized maintaining the nonconducting workpiece in proximity of the discharge. All these electrical discharges are transient phenomena and do not result in a stable discharge in the form of arc. The output parameters depend on the discharge energy that requires precise control to maintain the accuracy of the machining. For micromachining, the control of the discharge is paramount both in terms of energy and pattern. Using various shaped tools, machining media with additives, different types of applied potentials, and supporting mechanical motions are some of the attempts made to improve the machining output. Optimization of these parameters for machining particular materials (or alloys) is a popular field of research. The present work is directed toward the investigation of discharge initiation and development by analyzing the cell current and discharge voltage relationship for both EDM and ECDM. The quantification of phosphorus(P) in bulk soil and P distribution in different size fractions of water-stable aggregates(WSAs)are important for assessing potential P loss through runoff. We evaluated available and total P distribution within WSAs of a sitty clay to clay soil in a long-term fertility experiment of a rice-wheat cropping system in India. Surface soil samples were collected from seven plots amended with NPK fertilizers in combination with or without organic amendments, farmyard manure(FYM), green manure(GM), and paddy straw(PS). The plot with no NPK fertilizers or organic amendments was set as a control. The soil samples were separated by wet sieving into four soil aggregate size fractions: large macroaggregates(> 2.0 mm), small macroaggregates(0.25–2.0 mm), fine microaggregates(0.05–0.25 mm), and a silt + clay-sized fraction( small macroaggregates > fine microaggregates> large macroaggregates. Within a size class, aggregate-associated available and total P contents in the organically amended soil were in the following order: FYM > PS ≥ GM. The available P content of the microaggregates( 0.25 mm), and the total P content of the microaggregates was 4-to 5-times higher than that of the macroaggregates. We propose a dynamic threshold voltage j unctionless tunnel FET （DT-JLTFET） in wnlcn me mresnolu voltage can be dynamically adjusted, resulting in higher ON-current. Through 2D numerical simulations, it is presented that the threshold voltage in the DT-JLTFET can be adjusted by applying a voltage to the adjust gate. The impact of the threshold voltage shift on the overall performance of the device is also studied. A comparison is made between the dynamic threshold voltage characteristics of a silicon JLTFET and a Sio.7Geo.3 source JLTFET.

BACKGROUND： Curcumin has emerged to be utilized as a superb beneficial agent, due to its naturally occurring anti-oxidant, anti-inflammatory and anti-carcinogenic property. METHODS： The interaction of curcumin with human serum albumin, the main in vivo transporter of exogenous substances, was investigated using absorption spectroscopy, steady-state fluorescence, excited state life-time studies and circular dichroism ***：Isothermal titration calorimetry techniques inferred one class of binding site with binding constant -1.74 × 10^5 M ^-1 revealing a strong interaction. The binding profile was analyzed through the evaluation of the thermodynamic parameters, which indicated the involvement of hydrophobic interactions （burial of non-polar group）. Fluorescence lifetime of tryptophan residue was observed to decrease to 1.94 ns from 2.84 ns in presence of Curcumin. Percentage of ct helicity of human serum albumin was also reduced significantly upon binding with curcumin as evidenced by circular dichroism measurement leading to conformational modification of the protein molecule. CONCLUSIONS： On the basis of such complementary results, it may be concluded that curcumin shows strong binding affinity for human serum albumin, probably at the hydrophobic cavities of the protein and at or around the tryptophan residue. Molecular Docking analysis of liSA and curcumin provided light on the number of binding sites at an atomic level, which were already determined at a molecular level in spectroscopic measurements. Our study unfolds the modes of interaction of curcumin with human serum albumin in the light of different biophysical techniques and molecular modeling analysis.

Background and Objective: Leukemic microenvironment has a major role in the progression of leukemia. Leukemic cells can induce reversible changes in microenvironmental components, especially the stromal function which results in improved growth conditions for maintaining the malignant leukemic cells. This study aimed to investigate the survival advantage of leukemic cells over normal hematopoietic cells in stromal microenvironment in long term. Methods: The mice were injected intraperitoneally with N-N’ ethylnitrosourea (ENU) to induce leukemia; the mice received injection of normal saline were used as control. At 180 days after ENU induction, the mice were killed and the bone marrows were cultured for 19 days. Colony-forming assays were used to analyze the formation of various cell colonies. The expression of Sca-1, CD146, VEGFR2, CD95, pStat3, pStat5, and Bcl-xL in marrow cells were detected by flow cytometry. Results: Long-term leukemic bone marrow culture showed abnormal elongated stromal fibroblasts with almost absence of normal hematopoietic cells. Adherent cell colonies were increased, but CFU-F and other hematopoietic cell colonies were significantly decreased in leukemia group (P< 0.001). Primitive progenitor-specific Sca-1 receptor expression was decreased with subsequent increased expression of CD146 and VEGFR-2 in leukemic bone marrow cells. Decreased Fas antigen expression with increased intracellular pStat3, pStat5 and Bcl-xL proteins were observed in leukemic bone marrow cells. Conclusions: Stromal microenvironment shows altered morphology and decreased maturation in leukemia. Effective progenitor cells are decreased in leukemia with increased leukemia-specific cell population. Leukemic microenvironment plays a role in promoting and maintaining the leukemic cell proliferation and survivability in long term.
