Microorganisms including bacteria,viruses,protozoa,and fungi living in the gastrointestinal tract are collectively known as the gut *** is the imbalance in microbial composition on or inside the body relative to healthy *** Firmicutes to Bacteroidetes ratio and decreased abundance of Akkermansia muciniphila are the predominant gut dysbiosis associated with the pathogenesis of type 2 diabetes mellitus(T2DM)and metabolic *** mechanisms linking gut dysbiosis,and metabolic diseases and their complications include altered metabolism of short-chain fatty acids and bile acids,interaction with gut hormones,increased gut microbial metabolite trimethylamine-N-oxide,bacterial translocation/Leaky gut syndrome,and endotoxin production such as *** association between the gut microbiota and glycemic agents,however,is much less understood and is the growing focus of research and *** studies suggest that the gut microbiota and anti-diabetic medications are interdependent on each other,meaning that while anti-diabetic medications alter the gut microbiota,the gut microbiota also alters the efficacy of anti-diabetic *** increasing evidence regarding the significance of gut microbiota,it is imperative to review the role of gut microbiota in the pathogenesis of *** review also discusses the interaction between gut microbiota and the various medications used in the treatment of T2DM.

Online tracking mechanisms employed by internet companies for user profiling and targeted advertising raise major privacy concerns. Despite efforts to defend against these mechanisms, they continue to evolve, rendering many existing defences ineffective. This study performs a large-scale measurement of online tracking mechanisms across a large pool of websites using the OpenWPM (Open Web Privacy Measurement) platform. It systematically evaluates the effectiveness of several ad blockers and underlying Privacy Enhancing Technologies (PET) that are primarily used to mitigate different tracking techniques. By quantifying the strengths and limitations of these tools against modern tracking methods, the findings highlight gaps in existing privacy protections. Actionable recommendations are provided to enhance user privacy defences, guide tool developers and inform policymakers on addressing invasive online tracking practices.

Background:Nasal packs are central to nasal ***,these packs function by controlling bleeding,modulating pain and reducing adhesions ***,the major setback of the currently used conventional nasal packs is the unbearable pain the patient undergoes upon removal of these *** overcome this shortcoming a variety of biodegradable packs have *** study was aimed at evaluating the safety,efficacy and tolerability of VELNEZ nasal ***,a patented Datt Mediproducts *** pack,is one of its kind biodegradable composite that fragments within a few days of ***:Eighty patients were included in an open label,interventional,single arm clinical study using clinical endpoints to investigate the safety and efficacy of nasal pack *** patients were questioned using a visual analog scale from discharge day to 28th postoperative day(9 follow-up visits)at regular *** standardized questionnaires for hemorrhage control,relief from postoperative pain,moderate obstruction,and pain were ***:A total of 76 patients were enrolled in the study and 74 patients completed the *** nasal pack played a significant role in controlling hemorrhage and reducing postoperative *** average hemorrhage control time was 7.49±3.90 min with only 34.24%of population complaining of pain on the sixth day of surgery(follow-up 4).Forteen days postsurgery only 10.95%of subject population complained of postoperative *** biodegradable composite has an average fragmentation time of 4.7 days in the nasal *** addition,this study did not observe any postoperative adverse events or serious adverse ***:VELNEZ,a fragmentable nasal pack,is comfortable,safe,and effective against postsurgery bleeding and pain.

With the recent development of digital Micro Electro Mechanical System （MEMS） sensors, the cost of monitoring and detecting seismic events in real time can be greatly reduced. Ability of MEMS accelerograph to record a seismic event depends upon the efficiency of triggering algorithm, apart from the sensor＇s sensitivity. There are several classic triggering algorithms developed to detect seismic events, ranging from basic amplitude threshold to more sophisticated pattern recognition. Algorithms based on STA/LTA are reported to be computationally efficient for real time monitoring. In this paper, we analyzed several STA/LTA algorithms to check their efficiency and suitability using data obtained from the Quake Catcher Network （network of MEMS accelerometer stations）. We found that most of the STA/LTA algorithms are suitable for use with MEMS accelerometer data to accurately detect seismic events. However, the efficiency of any particular algorithm is found to be dependent on the parameter set used （i.e., window width of STA, LTA and threshold level）.

The sun and outer space are two of the most important fundamental thermodynamic resources for renewable energy harvesting.A significant amount of work has focused on understanding the fundamental limit of energy harvesting from the *** recently,there have been several theoretical analyses of the fundamental limit of energy harvesting from outer ***,far less is understood about the fundamental limits of simultaneous energy harvesting from both the sun and outer ***,we consider and introduce various schemes that are capable of simultaneous energy harvesting and elucidate the fundamental thermodynamic limits of these *** show that the theoretical limits can far exceed the previously established limit associated with utilizing only one thermodynamic *** results highlight the significant potential of simultaneous energy harvesting and indicate new fundamental opportunities for improving the efficiency of energy harvesting systems.

As a promising fuel candidate,ammonia has been successtully used as anode feed in alkaline fuel ***,current technology in catalysts for ammonia electro-oxidation reaction(AOR)with respect to both cost and performance is inadequate to ensure large scale commercial application of direct ammonia fuel *** studies found that alloying Pt with different transition metals and controlling the morphology of catalysts can improve the AOR activity,and thus potentially can solve the cost ***,(100)-terminated Pt-M nanocubes(M=3d-transition metals Fe,Co,Ni,Zn)are synthesized via wet-chemistry method and their catalytic activities toward AOR are *** addition of Fe,Co,Ni and Zn elements can enhance the AOR activity due to decrease in oxophilicity of platinum and bifunctional ***-Zn exhibits the maximum mass activity and specific ativity with values of 0.41 A/mgpt and 169 mA/cm2 that are 1.6 and 1.8 times higher than Pt nanocubes,***-Fe,Pt-Co and PI-Ni nanocubes also ilustrate higher mass and specific activities compared to Pt nanocubes.
