In this article, thermo vibration analysis of functionally graded (FG) nanobeams subjected to linear and uniform temperature distribution is studied. The structure is modelled by new efficient shear beam theory consid.ring the effect of shear deformation without shear correction factor. The mentioned theory satisfies the zero boundary traction conditions on the beam surfaces and can be used for transverse shear strains trigonometric distribution. material properties of the nanostructure are assumed temperature-dependent and FG based on the distribution of power law. The influence of size scale is captured utilising Eringen theory of non-local elasticity.

Oral antibody to interleukin-10(anti-IL-10)enhances the intestinal immune defense against *** sulfur amino acids methionine and cysteine(mtC)play essential roles in inducing and maintaining protective immune responses during intestinal ***,increased dietary mtC may support the anti-IL-10-induced intestinal immunity to ***(n=640)were arranged in a 2×2×2 factorial design with 2 levels of each of the 3 main factors:dietary standardized ileal digestible(sid.mtC levels(0.6%or 0.8%),dietary anti-IL-10 supplementation(with or without),and coccidiosis challenge(control or challenge).Briefly,the broilers were supplied with either 0.6%or 0.8%sid.mtC,each with or without anti-IL-10(300 mg/kg),from d 10 to *** d 14,broilers from each diet were gavaged with either PBS or *** resulting Eimeria infection induced fecal oocyst shedding and intestinal *** fed 0.8%sid.mtC(main effects,P≤0.05)had decreased feed-to-gain ratio,increased duodenum and cecum luminal anti-Eimeria IgA titers,and decreased fecal oocyst counts,when compared to 0.6%sid.*** supplementation of anti-IL-10(main effects,P≤0.05)increased cecum luminal total IgA concentration and decreased cecum ***(P≤0.05)were detected for growth performance and cecum luminal IFN-γ.Briefly,the highest body weight gain and feed intake were reached in PBS-gavaged broilers fed 0.8%sid.mtC with no anti-IL-10 and in Eimeria-challenged broilers fed 0.8%sid.mtC with *** Eimeria-infected broilers,anti-IL-10 increased intestinal luminal IFN-γ and body weight gain only at 0.8%sid.***,anti-IL-10 increased intestinal luminal IFN-γ levels,decreased cecum lesions and restored growth only when fed with adequate amounts of sulfur amino *** findings underscore the importance of providing sufficient essential nutrients to support the anti-IL-10 induced immunity against coccidiosis.

Of all the methods of studies on bio-estimation of air pollution by lichen flora, the authors cannot justify a choice of one method over another. Consultation of previous work by researchers has allowed us to compare these methods and to better understand their strengths and limitations. Under the terms of estimating the pollution, these methods are classified into three categories. Some are qualitative, quantitative and others are finally some indirect methods. The methods used to assess the overall air pollution relative value for each station studied. As part of our work, the authors have chosen a quantitative approach based on the combination of two methods. They are based on pollution indices obtained from mathematical formulas based on various parameters related to the lichen flora. They are represented by the I. P. (index poleotolerance) and the I. A. P. (index of atmospheric purity) and these two indices allowed us to map of global air pollution in the city of Skikda and petrochemical industry as well as peri-urban areas (Haddaiek, hamadi Krouma, hamrouche hamoudi, Larbi Ben m"Hidi). The authors have identified areas of iso-pollution around different emission centers represented by the largest petrochemical area, traffic and households in urban areas of Skikda, hamadi Krouma, hamrouche hamoudi and Larbi Ben m"Hidi.

Has Stewart approach improved our ability to diagnose acid-base disorders in critically ill patients?

The Stewart approach-the application of basic physicalchemical principles of aqueous solutions to blood-is an appealing method for analyzing acid-base disorders. These principles mainly dictate that p H is determined by three independent variables, which change primarily and independently of one other. In blood plasma in vivo these variables are:(1) the PCO2;(2) the strong ion difference(sid.-the difference between the sums of all the strong(i.e., fully dissociated, chemically nonreacting) cations and all the strong anions; and(3) the nonvolatile weak acids(Atot). Accordingly, the p H and the bicarbonate levels(dependent variables) are only altered when one or more of the independent variables change. moreover, the source of H+ is the dissociation of water to maintain electroneutrality when the independent variables are modified. The basic principles of the Stewart approach in blood, however, have been challenged in different ways. First, the presumed independent variables are actually interdependent as occurs in situations such as:(1) the hamburger effect(a chloride shift when CO2 is added to venous blood from the tissues);(2) the loss of donnan equilibrium(a chloride shift from the interstitium to the intravascular compartment to balance the decrease of Atot secondary to capillary leak; and(3) the compensatory response to a primary disturbance in either independent variable. Second, the concept of water dissociation in response to changes in sid.is controversial and lacks experimental evidence. In addition, the Stewart approach is not better than the conventional method for understanding acid-base disorders such as hyperchloremic metabolic acidosis secondary to a chloride-rich-fluid load. Finally, several attempts were performed to demonstrate the clinical superiority of the Stewart approach. These studies, however, have severe methodological drawbacks. AIm: To study the clinical presentation of Budd-Chiari syndrome(BCS) and identify the aetiologies of this disease in Algeria. mETHOdS: Patients with BCS, hospitalised in our unit from January 2004 until June 2010 were included and the aetiological factors were assessed. Patients presenting a BCS in the setting of advanced-stage cirrhosis or a liver transplantation were excluded from the study. The diagnosis was established when an obstruction of hepatic venous outflow(thrombosis, stenosis or compression) was demonstrated. We diagnosed myeloproliferative disease(mPd) by bone marrow biopsy and V617 F JAK2 mutation. Anti-phospholipid syndrome(APLS) was detected by the presence of anticardiolipin antibodies, anti-β2 glycoprotein antibodies and Lupus anticoagulant. We also detected paroxysmal nocturnal haemoglobinuria(PNH) by flow cytometry. Celiac disease and Behcet disease were systematically investigated in our patients. Hereditary anticoagulant protein deficiencies were also assessed. We tested our patients for the G20210 A mutation at Beaujon Hospital. Imaging procedures were performed to determine a local cause of BCS, such as a hydatid cyst or a liver ***: One hundred and fifteen patients were included. mean follow up: 32.12 mo. mean age: 34.41 years, m/F = 0.64. Chronic presentation was frequent:63.5%. The revealing symptoms for the BCS were ascites(74.8%) and abdominal pain(42.6%). The most common site of thrombosis was the hepatic veins(72.2%). Involvement of the inferior vena cava alone was observed in 3 patients. According to the radiological investigations, BCS was primary in 94.7% of the cases(n = 109) and secondary in 5.2%(n = 6). An aetiology was identified in 77.4% of the patients(n = 89); it was multifactorial in 27%(n = 31). The predominant aetiology of BCS in our patients was a myeloproliferative disease, observed in 34.6% of cases. APLS was found in 21.7% and celiac disease in 11.4%. 在一个28天的生长试验中,选择294头断奶后3天、初始体重15.1磅(6.8千克)的保育仔猪(PIC TR4×1050)来评估提高标准回肠可消化缬氨酸与赖氨酸比率对仔猪生长性能的影响。将仔猪分为6个处理。采用两阶段饲粮体系进行饲喂,第0～14天饲喂处理饲粮,而第14～28天饲喂一种普通饲粮。所有饲粮都是粉状形式。6个标准回肠可消化(sid.缬氨酸与赖氨酸比率分别为57.4%、59.9%、62.3%、64.7%、67.2%和69.6%。该饲粮中sid.氨酸水平是1.30%。每个处理7栏,每栏饲养7头仔猪。在第0、第7、第14、第21和第28天时对仔猪和料槽进行称重,计算平均日增重、平均日采食量和料重比。第0～14天,当缬氨酸与赖氨酸比率从57.4%提高至64.7%时,仔猪平均日增重和平均日采食量有所升高(二次性趋势;P0.27);然而随着之前饲喂的饲粮中缬氨酸与赖氨酸比率提高,仔猪料重比变差(二次性趋势;P0.20)。因此,15～25磅(即6.8～11.3千克)仔猪获得最佳生长所需的最小缬氨酸与赖氨酸比率是64.7%。
