The elliptic azimuthal anisotropy coefficient(v_(2))of the identified particles at midrapidity(|η|sions at√s_(NN)=5.02 TeV using a multi-phase transport model(AMPT).The calculations of differential v_(2)based on the advanced flow extraction method of light flavor hadrons(pions,kaons,protons,andΛ)in small collision systems were extended to a wider transverse momentum(p_(T))range of up to 8 GeV/c for the first *** string-melting version of the AMPT model provides a good description of the measured p_(T)-differential v_(2)of the mesons but exhibits a slight deviation from the baryon v_(2).In addition,we observed the features of mass ordering at low p_(T)and the approximate number-of-constituentquark(NCQ)scaling at intermediate p_(T).Moreover,we demonstrate that hadronic rescattering does not have a significant impact on v_(2)in p-Pb collisions for different centrality selections,whereas partonic scattering dominates in generating the elliptic anisotropy of the final *** study provides further insight into the origin of collective-like behavior in small collision systems and has referential value for future measurements of azimuthal anisotropy.

We are writing in response to the paper published in the World Journal of Gastroenterology by Zhou et *** authors identified higher serum immunoglobulin(Ig)G4 levels and age over 55 years as independent risk factors for disease *** notable strengths,it is crucial to address potential ***,the cohort study included 189 patients with autoimmune pancreatitis(AIP)type 1(with higher IgG4 seropositivity and higher relapse)and 24 with type 2(with lower IgG4 seropositivity and lower relapse).Consequently,most,if not all,AIP type 2 patients were assigned to the normal group,possibly inflating the association of higher serum IgG4 levels with relapse and potentially exaggerating the association of older age with ***,the authors did not provide sufficient details regarding AIP diagnosis,such as the ratio of definitive vs probable cases and the proportion of *** cases where histological evidence is unavailable or indeterminate,AIP type 2 may be misdiagnosed as definitive type 1,and type 1 may also be misdiagnosed as probable type 2,particularly in cases with normal or mildly elevated serum IgG4 ***,in this retrospective study,approximately one-third of the consecutive patients initially collected were excluded for various ***,the impact of nonrandom exclusion on relapse outcomes should be carefully *** conclusion,the paper by Zhou et al offers plausible,though not entirely compelling,evidence suggesting a predictive role of elevated serum IgG4 levels and advanced age in AIP *** foundation for future investigations lies in ensuring a reliable diagnosis and accurate disease subtyping,heavily dependent on obtaining histological *** this regard,endoscopic ultrasound-guided fine-needle biopsy emerges as a pivotal component of the diagnostic process,contributing to mitigating biases in future explorations of the disease.

Carbon-based single-atom catalysts(SACs)have been widely studied in the field of biomedicine due to their excellent catalytic ***,carbon-based SACs usually aggregate during pyrolysis,which leads to the reduction of catalytic ***,we describe a method to improve the monodispersion of SACs using silicon dioxide as a protective *** decoration of silicon dioxide serves as a buffer layer for individual nanoparticles,which is not destroyed during the pyrolysis process,ensuring the single-particle dispersion of the nanoparticles after *** approach increased the hydroxyl groups on the surface of Fe-SAC(Fe-SAC-SE)and improved its water solubility,resulting in a four times enhancement of the peroxidase(POD)-like activity of Fe-SAC-SE(58.4 U/mg)than that of non-protected SACs(13.9 U/mg).The siO_(2)-protection approach could also improve the catalytic activities of SACs with other metals such as Mn,Co,Ni,and Cu,indicating its generality for SACs *** advantage of the high POD-like activity,photothermal properties,and large specific surface area of Fe-SAC-SE,we constructed a synergistic therapeutic system(Fe-SAC-SE@DOX@PEG)for combining the photothermal therapy,catalytic therapy,and *** was verified that the photothermal properties of Fe-SAC-SE@DOX@PEG could effectively improve its POD-like activity,exhibiting excellent tumor-killing performance at the cellular *** work may provide a general approach to improve the performances of SACs for disease therapy and diagnosis.

The energetic bremsstrahlung photons up to 100 MeV produced in heavy ion collisions can be used as a sensitive probe for short-range correlation in atomic nuclei. The energy of the γ-rays can be measured by collecting the Čerenkov light in the medium induced by the fast electrons generated in the Compton scattering or electromagnetic shower of the incident γray. Two types of detectors based on pure water and lead glass as sensitive materials were designed for this purpose. The γresponse and optical photon propagation in the detectors were simulated based on electromagnetic and optical processes in Geant4. The inherent energy resolutions of 0.022(4) + 0.51(2)∕E^(1/2)_(γ) for water and 0.0026(3) + 0.446(3)∕E^(1/2)_(γ) for lead glass were obtained. The geometry sizes of the lead glass and water were optimized to 30 cm × 30 cm × 30 cm and 60 cm × 60 cm ×120 cm, respectively, to detect high-energy γ-rays at 160 MeV. The Hough transform method was applied to reconstruct the direction of the incident γ-rays, providing the ability to experimentally distinguish the high-energy γ-rays produced in the reactions on the target from random background cosmic-ray muons.

Objective Hydroquinone(HQ),one of the phenolic metabolites of benzene,is widely recognized as an important participant in benzene-induced ***,there are few relevant proteomics in HQ-induced hematotoxicity and the mechanism hasn’t been fully understood *** In this study,we treated K562 cells with 40μmol/L HQ for 72 h,examined and validated protein expression changes by Label-free proteomic analysis and Parallel reaction monitoring(PRM),and performed bioinformatics analysis to identify interaction *** One hundred and eighty-seven upregulated differentially expressed proteins(DEPs)and 279 downregulated DEPs were identified in HQ-exposed K562 cells,which were involved in neutrophilmediated immunity,blood microparticle,and other GO terms,as well as the lysosome,metabolic,cell cycle,and cellular senescence-related *** on the 23 DEGs and 5 DEPs in erythroid differentiation-related pathways,we constructed the network of protein interactions and determined 6 DEPs(STAT1,STAT3,CASP3,KIT,STAT5B,and VEGFA)as main hub proteins with the most interactions,among which STATs made a central impact and may be potential biomarkers of HQ-induced *** Our work reinforced the use of proteomics and bioinformatic approaches to advance knowledge on molecular mechanisms of HQ-induced hematotoxicity at the protein level and provide a valuable basis for further clarification.

The cabin air pressure remains lower than the horizontal atmospheric pressure when the airplane is in *** pressure is one of the parameters that must be taken into consideration while studying the thermal environment of an airplane *** are still no reference values for aircraft cabins despite the fact that numerous studies on low pressure heat transfer have demonstrated the connection between convective heat transfer coefficient(CHTC)and air *** this paper,a correction method for CHTC under low pressure conditions was established by using the dummy heat dissipation in the low-pressure cabin *** this basis,a thermal environment simulation model was developed,then was applied to the simulation of a seven-row aircraft cabin containing 42 passengers,and the CHTC and heat loss of dummy surface in the cabin were ***,the results of PMV calculated by using heat dissipation and air parameters at sampling points were *** results show that the modified CHTC can accurately reflect the cabin thermal environment under low pressure conditions,and the correction of CHTC can be realized by adjusting the turbulent Prandtl number,which is nonlinear correlated with the *** simulation results of the thermal environment in the seven-row cabin show that the CHTC changes by about 42%before and after *** air pressure decreases during take-off,which reduces the average CHTC of the crew surface from 5.09 W/(m^(2)·K)to 4.56 W/(m^(2)·K),but the air temperature rises by about 0.2°C as a *** deviation of PMV results calculated by using simulated heat loss data and using air parameters of measuring points in space is up to 0.5,but the latter is representative for calculating the thermal comfort level of the whole cabin.

The study of extreme weather and space events has gained paramount importance in modern society owing to rapid advances in high *** and describing exceptional occurrences plays a crucial role in making decisive assessments of their potential impact on technical,economic,and social aspects in various *** research focuses on analyzing the hourly values of the auroral electrojet(AE)geomagnetic index from 1957 to 2019 by using the peak over threshold method in extreme value *** fitting the generalized Pareto distribution to extreme AE values,shape parameter indices were derived,revealing negative values that establish an upper bound for this time ***,it became evident that the AE values had reached a plateau,suggesting that extreme events exceeding the established upper limit are *** a result,although the need for diligent precautions to mitigate the consequences of such extreme events persists,surpassing the upper limit of AE values becomes increasingly *** is also possible to observe an aurora in the middle-and low-latitude regions during the maximum period of the AE index.

A Laue microdiffraction beamline (BL03HB) was constructed at the Shanghai SynchrotronRadiation Facility (SSRF). This beamline featu res two consecutive focusing points in twodifferent sectors within its end station, the first dedicated to protein crystallography and theother tailored to materials science applications. Based on a superbend dipole magnet with amagnetic field of 2.29 T, a two-stage focusing design was implemented with two sets of Kirkpatrick- Baez mirrors to achieve a micro white beam as small as 4.2 um X4.3 pμm at the firstsector and 09 pum X 1.3 pum at the second sector in the standard beamline operation mode at *** X-ray microbeam in the two sectors can be easily switched between monochromatic andwhite beams by moving a four-bounce monochromator in or out of the light path, respectively. Inthe protein crystallography sector, white-beam Laue microdifraction was dermonstrated tosuccessully determine the structure of protein crystals from only a few images of diffraction data .collected by a Pilatus 2 M area detector. In the materials science sector, the white -beam Lauediffraction was collected in a reflection geometry using another Pilatus 2 M area detector, whichcould map the microstructural distribution on the sample surface by scanning the samples. Ingeneral, the BL03HB beamline promotes the application of Laue microdiffraction in both proteincrystallgraphy and materials science. This paper presents a comprehensive overview of theBL03HB beamline, end station, and the first commission results.
