Pulsar search is always the basis of pulsar navigation,gravitational wave detection and other research ***,the volume of pulsar candidates collected by the Five-hundred-meter Aperture Spherical radio Telescope(FAST)shows an explosive growth rate that has brought challenges for its pulsar candidate filtering ***,the multi-view heterogeneous data and class imbalance between true pulsars and non-pulsar candidates have negative effects on traditional single-modal supervised classification *** this study,a multi-modal and semi-supervised learning based on a pulsar candidate sifting algorithm is presented,which adopts a hybrid ensemble clustering scheme of density-based and partition-based methods combined with a feature-level fusion strategy for input data and a data partition strategy for *** on both High Time Resolution Universe SurveyⅡ(HTRU2)and actual FAST observation data demonstrate that the proposed algorithm could excellently identify pulsars:On HTRU2,the precision and recall rates of its parallel mode reach0.981 and 0.988 *** FAST data,those of its parallel mode reach 0.891 and 0.961,meanwhile,the running time also significantly decreases with the increment of parallel nodes within ***,we can conclude that our algorithm could be a feasible idea for large scale pulsar candidate sifting for FAST drift scan observation.

The gut microbiota is recognized as an endocrine organ with the capacity to influence distant organs and associated biological *** advan-cements underscore the critical role of gut microbial homeostasis in female health;with dysbiosis potentially leading to diseases among women such as polycystic ovarian syndrome,endometriosis,breast cancer,cervical cancer,and ovarian cancer *** this,there has been limited discussion on the underlying *** editorial explores the three potential mechanisms through which gut microbiota dysbiosis may impact the development of diseases among women,namely,the immune system,the gut microbiota-estrogen axis,and the metabolite *** focused on approaches for treating diseases in women by addressing gut microbiota imbalances through probiotics,prebiotics supple-mentation,and fecal microbiota transplantation(FMT).Future studies should focus on determining the molecular mechanisms underlying associations between dysbiosis of gut microbiota and female diseases to realize precision medicine,with FMT emerging as a promising intervention.

Chemical Activation of S/li2S in li-S Batteries by a Bidirectional Organic Redox Mediator

The energy density and lifespan of prototype li-S batteries under high sulfur loading and lean electrolyte have been mainly restricted by the incomplete interconversion between insulating S8 and li2S. The introduction of an electrocatalyst has been preserved as an effective way to breakthrough the bottleneck of the interconversion rate. Herein, we demonstrate a novel bidirectional redox mediator, insoluble dithiobisphthalimide (DTPI), as the electrocatalyst for both S8 reduction and li2S oxidation. Due to the dual-functional role of both electron/li+ donor and acceptor, DTPI can efficiently accelerate the redox reactions during charge/discharge and significantly alleviate the incomplete conversion of sulfur species. Consequently, the li-S batteries with DTPI deliver superior specific capacity and cycling stability in comparison with those without DTPI. Especially, the redox mediator is scalable for synthesis and the DTPI-based 5 Ah pouch cell delivers a specific discharge capacity of around 870 mAhg(-1) at 0.1 C (1 C=1675 mA/g) without capacity fading over 80 cycles. The bidirectional catalysis mechanism has been studied through theoretical calculation and ex-situ characterization of the cathode materials. This work approves the effectiveness of bidirectional organic redox mediator in the construction of practical li-S batteries.

Crystal growth,structure and optical properties of Pr^(3+)-doped yttria-stabilized zirconia single crystals

The development of blue semiconductor light-emitting diodes(LEDs)has produced potential applications for Prdoped materials that can absorb blue light,especially crystals,and we now report structure and optical properties for high-quality Pr-doped single crystals of yttria-stabilized zirconia(YSZ)grown by the optical floating zone(FZ)method.X-ray diffraction(XRD)and Raman spectroscopy showed that all of the single crystal samples were in the cubic phase,whereas the corresponding ceramic samples contained a mixture of monoclinic and cubic phases.X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy(XPS)and electron paramagnetic resonance(EPR)spectroscopy showed that Pr was present as the Pr^(3+)ion in ceramic rods and single crystals after heating to high *** absorption and photoluminescence excitation(PLE)spectra of the Pr-doped YSZ crystals measured at room temperature showed strong absorption of blue light,while their photoluminescence(PL)spectra showed five emission peaks at 565 nm,588 nm,614 nm,638 nm,and 716 nm under450 nm *** optimum luminescence properties were obtained with the crystal prepared using 0.15 mol%Pr_(6)O_(11),and those with higher concentrations showed evidence of quenching of the luminescence *** addition,the color purity of Pr-doped YSZ single crystal reached 98.9%in the orange–red region.

An anion exchange membrane(AEM)is generally expected to possess high ion exchange capacity(IEC),low water uptake(WU),and high mechanical strength when applied to electrodialysis *** different types of AEMs,semi-interpenetrating polymer networks(siPNs)have been suggested for their structural superiorities,i.e.,the tunable local density of ion exchange groups for IEC and the restrained leaching of hygroscopic groups by insolubility for ***,the conventional siPN AEMs still struggle to balances IEC,WU,and mechanical strength simultaneously,due to the lack of the compact crosslinking *** this work,we proposed a novel siPN structure of polyvinylidene difluoride/polyvinylimidazole/1,6-dibromohexane(PVDF/PVIm/DBH).On the one hand,DBH with two cationic groups of imidazole groups are introduced to enhance the ion conductivity,which is different from the conventional monofunctional modifier with only one cationic *** the other hand,DBH has the ability to bridge with PVIm,where the mechanical strength of the resulting AEM is increased by the increase of crosslinking *** show that a low WU of 38.1%to 62.6%,high IEC of 2.12—2.22 mmol·g^(-1),and excellent tensile strength of 3.54—12.35 MPa for PVDF/PVIm/DBH membrane are *** work opens a new avenue for achieving the high-quality AEMs.

The ocean is one of the essential fields of national defense in the future,and more and more attention is paid to the lightweight research of Marine equipment and *** study it is to develop a Machine learning(ML)-based prediction method to study the evolution of the mechanical properties of Al-li alloys in the marine *** obtained the mechanical properties of Al-li alloy samples under uniaxial tensile deformation at different exposure times through Marine exposure *** obtained the strain evolution by digital image correlation(DIC).The strain field images are voxelized using 2D-Convolutional Neural Networks(CNN)autoencoders as input data for Long Short-Term Memory(LSTM)neural ***,the output data of LSTM neural networks combined with corrosion features were input into the Back Propagation(BP)neural network to predict the mechanical properties of Al-li *** main conclusions are as follows:*** variation law of mechanical properties of2297-T8 in the Marine atmosphere is *** the increase in outdoor exposure test time,the tensile elastic model of 2297-T8 changes slowly,within 10%,and the tensile yield stress changes significantly,with a maximum attenuation of 23.6%.*** prediction model can predict the strain evolution and mechanical response simultaneously with an error of less than 5%.*** study shows that a CNN/LSTM system based on machine learning can be built to capture the corrosion characteristics of Marine exposure *** results show that the relationship between corrosion characteristics and mechanical response can be predicted without considering the microstructure evolution of metal materials.

limits of Uneven Battery Power in Modular Multilevel Converter-based Battery Energy Storage Systems

For modular multilevel converter-based battery energy storage systems (MMC-BESS), uneven power among batteries of SMs will be deduced by battery aging, battery fault, etc., which will degrade performance and even lead to system failure. For maintaining the balance of capacitor voltage, this paper analyzes the limits of the uneven power of batteries, which are presented as the current limits in this paper. According to analysis, an analytical method is proposed that only the dc and fundamental frequency components of the arm current are used to calculate current limits. With the current limits it is able to evaluate the reasonability of power distribution among batteries. Meanwhile, increase of fundamental frequency component will enhance the current limits, and the dc component determines the size relationship between the absolute values of the upper and lower current limits. Finally, simulation model and experiment prototype are built for verifying the theoretical analysis and current limits calculation method, and satisfactory results are provided.

The family Rhyscotidae Budde-Lund,1904 contains two genera:Rhyscotoides Schmalfuss&Ferrara,1978 and Rhyscotus Budde-Lund,*** date,twenty-one species within the family are known,occurring in the subtropic and tropic regions(Schmalfuss,2003;Schmidt,2003;Boyko et al.,2022).The members of the family can be recognized by the cephalon with a strongly inflated frons,the antennae with two-jointed flagellum,the maxillae are almost semicircular,the maxillipeds have short palpus and endite,and pleopod exopodites without pseudotracheae(Schmalfuss&Ferrara,1978).Before this study,the members of Rhyscotidae were unknown in *** present research describes a new species of the genus Rhyscotus from Hainan Island,representing a new record of the family Rhyscotidae from China.

Mineralogical properties and co-sintering characteristics of fluxed iron ore with magnetite concentrates

To investigate the feasibility of co-sintering of fluxed iron ore with magnetite concentrates, the mineralogical properties of a novel fluxed iron ore were studied using particle size analysis, microscopic morphology characterization, and X-ray diffraction Rietveld analysis. Following that, the experiments for granulation performance and basic sintering characteristics were designed under seven different fluxed iron ore ratios, and the integrated ranking of different fluxed iron ore ratios was determined using gray relation analysis. Finally, the results of the industrial trails were combined with the feasibility analysis. Test and experimental results show that the fraction of the fluxed iron ore particles larger than 0.5 mm can account for more than 48%, and the particles have two morphologies: spherical-rough and flaky-smooth. Ca elements are found in the form of calcite (CaCO3) and dolomite (CaMg(CO3)2). The average particle size of granules and powder removal rate can be improved from 2.50 to 3.16 mm and 39.60% to 24.20%, respectively, with the increase in the fluxed iron ore ratio. Furthermore, the fluxed iron ore can improve assimilability and liquid fluidity of magnetite concentrates. In terms of overall granulation performance and sintering characteristics, the fluxed iron ore ratios are graded from best to worst as follows: 12%, 15%, 9%, 18%, 21%, 6% and 3%. The industrial trails show that when the fluxed iron ore ratio is increased, the beneficial effect of the superior sintering characteristics of the fluxed iron ore itself is ideally balanced with the negative effect of the lower amount of additional CaO at 12% ratio, and thus, it is feasible to bring the fluxed iron ore into production at a level of roughly 12%.
