Molecular dynamic simulation and transmission electron microscopy(TEM)characterization was employed to investigate the{1012}twinning mechanism in magnesium.A partial dislocation assisted twinning nucleation mechanism was proposed based on simulation results,in which the twin lattice was reconstructed from parental matrix by two-step sweeping of partial dislocations on different close packed planes from matrix and the subsequently formed twin precursor respectively.A{101^(-)2}twin precursor was observed adjacent to matrix/twin interface by a spherical aberration corrected TEM,which indicated the hexagonal-close-packed(hep)matrix-quasi face-centered cubic(fee)twinning precursorsh.c.p twin transformation sequence during{101^(-)2}twinning process.

Photocatalytic activation of peroxymonosulfate (PMS) has garnered a lot of interest in the field of wastewater treatment. Herein, a plasmonic Ag nanoparticles decorated MIL-101(Fe) hybrid was synthesized through a photodeposition process. Upon light irradiation, the Ag/MIL-101(Fe) exhibit reinforced photocatalytic activities for elimination of bisphenol A (BPA) with PMS. The optimized 2.0% Ag/MIL-101(Fe) composite presented the highest photocatalytic activity with kinetic constant k of 0.102 min-1, which was about 10-fold of the pristine MIL-101(Fe). Loading of plasmonic Ag into MIL-101(Fe) boosts photoinduced carrier separation and accelerates PMS activation to generate strong oxidative radicals. Photoelectrochemical tests and multiple spectroscopic studies confirmed the promoted charge carrier separation and transfer capability of Ag/MIL-101(Fe). Combining the results of radical trapping experiments and electron spin resonance (ESR), the formed SO4·-, ·OH, ·O2- and 1O2 had a significant role in the photocatalytic process. According to intermediate study, the degradation pathway was studied, and the possible mechanism was proposed.

High fluorescence quantum yield(QY),excellent fluorescence stability,and low toxicity are essential for a good cellular imaging fluorescent ***-emissive carbon quantum dots(CQDs)with many advantages,such as unique fluorescence properties,anti-photobleaching,low toxicity,fine biocompatibility and high penetration depth in tissues,have been considered as a potential candidate in cell imaging fluorescent ***,N,S-codoped green-emissive CQDs(QY=64.03%)were synthesized by the one-step hydrothermal method,with m-phenylenediamine as the carbon and nitrogen source,and L-cysteine as the nitrogen and sulfur dopant,under the optimum condition of 200℃ reaction for 2 *** luminescence was found to originate from the surface *** light of the satisfactory photobleaching resistance and the low cytotoxicity,CQDs were used as a cell imaging probe for HeLa cell *** results clearly indicate that cells can be labeled with CQDs,which can not only enter the cytoplasm,but also enter the nucleus through the nuclear pore,showing their broad application prospect in the field of cell imaging.

To master the electromagnetic environment characteristics around the Five-hundred-meter Aperture Spherical radio Telescope(FAST)and ensure a better ecological environment in the radio-quiet zone of FAST,we analyzed the radiation characteristics of the public communication stations around *** comparing the FAST received signal power from the communication stations and the interference protection threshold of the radio astronomy applications,we found that the total proportion of the communication stations exceeding the radio astronomy protection threshold is 69.01%.Furthermore,to fully protect the regular operation of FAST,we proposed four interference avoidance and frequency coordination strategies based on the cognitive ***:(1)increasing the operating frequency of the communication station;(2)adjusting the direction of the transmitter antennas;(3)reducing the height of the transmitter antennas;(4)decreasing the transmitting power of the communication *** a result,the impact on FAST can effectively be reduced,and the FAST's received power from the communication stations will be lower than the radio astronomy protection threshold by using the above mentioned four *** the analysis of the experiment,the prediction is consistent with the overall trend of the measurement,and using frequency strategies can significantly reduce the signal power at the receiving ***,we construct a quality evaluation system for frequency coordination and analyze the satisfaction of the four strategies under the four *** results show that adjusting the direction of the transmitter antennas has better satisfaction,and the maximum satisfaction is *** above research results can be further expanded to potentially improve the electromagnetic ecological environment around FAST and support the regular operation of FAST.

This study compares the atmosphere-only HighResMIP simulations from FGOALS-f3-H(FGOALS)and MRIAGCM3-2-S(MRI)with respect to tropical cyclone(TC)characteristics over the Western North Pacific(WNP)for the July-October months of *** focus is on investigating the role of the tropical easterly jet over the Western Pacific(WP_TEJ)in modulating the simulation biases in terms of their climatological distribution and interannual variability of WNP TC genesis frequency(TCGF)based on the analysis of the genesis potential index(GPI).Results show that the two models reasonably capture the main TC genesis location,the maximum center of frequency,and track density;however,their biases mainly lie in simulating the intense TCs and TCGF *** MRI better simulates the windpressure relationship(WPR)but overestimates the proportion of super typhoons(SSTYs).At the same time,FGOALS underestimates the WPR and the proportion of SSTYs but better simulates the total WNP TC *** particular,FGOALS overestimates the TCGF in the northeastern WNP,which is strongly tied to an overestimated WP_TEJ and the enhanced vertical circulation to the north of its entrance *** contrast,the MRI simulates a weaker WP_TEJ and vertical circulation,leading to a negative TCGF bias in most of the *** models exhibit comparable capability in simulating the interannual variability of WP_TEJ intensity,but the composite difference of large-scale atmospheric factors between strong and weak WP_TEJ years is overestimated,resulting in larger interannual anomalies of WNP TCGF,especially for ***,accurate simulations of the WP_TEJ and the associated oceanic and atmospheric factors are crucial to further improving WNP TC simulations for both models.

It is well-established that high carbonization temperature will trigger the enzyme-like activity of carbon-based ***,the catalytic mechanism is still ambiguous,which hinders the further rational design of nanomaterials as enzyme ***,N,S-rich carbonized wool nanosheets(CWs)were synthesized at different pyrolysis *** expected,only CWs treated with high-temperature possess intrinsic oxidase-and peroxidase-like ***,density functional theory(DFT)calculations demonstrate that graphitic nitrogen and the co-existence of nitrogen and sulfur in the carbon matrix serve as the active sites for the enzyme-like *** importantly,combining theoretical calculations and experimental observations,the high-temperature triggered catalytic mechanism can be ascribed to the fact that an appropriate high-temperature maximizes the graphitization degree to a certain extent,at which most of the catalytic active sites are well retained rather than ***,coupling with excellent photothermal conversion efficiency and catalytic performance,CWs can be applied to photothermal-catalytic cancer therapy under near-infrared region(NIR)light *** believe this work will contribute to understanding the catalytic mechanism of carbon-based nanozymes and promote the development of new biomedical and pharmaceutical applications.
