The recent advances in aqueous magnesium-ion hybrid supercapacitor(MHSC)have attracted great attention as it brings together the benefits of high energy density,high power density,and synchronously addresses cost and safety ***,the freeze of aqueous electrolytes discourages aqueous MHSC from operating at low-temperature ***,a low-concentration aqueous solution of 4 mol L^(-1) Mg(ClO_(4))_(2) is devised for its low freezing point(-67℃)and ultra-high ionic conductivity(3.37 mS cm^(-1) at-50℃).Both physical characterizations and computational simulations revealed that the Mg(ClO_(4))_(2) can effectively disrupt the original hydrogen bond network among water molecules via transmuting the electrolyte structure,thus yielding a low freezing ***,the Mg(ClO_(4))_(2) electrolytes endue aqueous MHSC with a wider temperature operation range(-50℃–25℃)and a higher energy density of 103.9 Wh kg^(-1) at 3.68 kW kg^(-1) over commonly used magnesium salts(i.e.,MgSO_(4) and Mg(NO_(3))_(2))***,a quasi-solid-state MHSC based on polyacrylamide-based hydrogel electrolyte holds superior low-temperature performance,excellentﬂexibility,and high *** work pioneers a convenient,cheap,and eco-friendly tactic to procure low-temperature aqueous magnesium-ion energy storage device.

The assembly of exogenous artificial architectures inside cells can regulate a series of biological events,which heavily relies on the development of spatiotemporally controlled molecular assembly *** herein report a designer deoxyribonucleic acid(DNA)nanostructure that enables light-mediated spatiotemporally dynamic assembly in living cells and consequently achieves efficient regulation of cell *** DNA nanostructure was constructed from i-motif moiety-containing branched DNA,photocleavable bond-containing linker,and tumor cell-targeting *** cellular uptake mediated by aptamers,under the spatiotemporal control of both UV light and late endosomal/lysosomal acidic environments,disassembly/reassembly of DNA nanostructure occurred via two rationally designed routes,generating microsized DNA *** a result,autophagy was significantly enhanced with the increase of DNA assembly *** enhanced autophagy showed an impact on related biological *** system is expected to be a powerful tool for the regulation of intracellular events and cellular behaviors.

Objective:Glucose-6-phosphate isomerase(GPI)deficiency is a rare hereditary nonspherocytic hemolytic anemia caused by GPI gene *** disorder exhibits wide heterogeneity in its clinical manifestations and molecular characteristics,often posing challenges for precise diagnoses using conventional *** this end,this study aimed to identify the novel variants responsible for GPI deficiency in a chinese ***:The clinical manifestations of the patient were summarized and analyzed for GPI deficiency phenotype *** compound heterozygous variants of the GPI gene,c.174C>A(***58Lys)and c.1538G>T(***513Leu),were identified using whole-exome and Sanger *** AlphaFold program and chimera software were used to analyze the effects of compound heterozygous variants on GPI ***:By characterizing 53 GPI missense/nonsense variants from previous literature and two novel missense variants identified in this study,we found that most variants were located in exons 3,4,12,and 18,with a few localized in exons 8,9,and *** study identified novel compound heterozygous variants associated with GPI *** pathogenic variants disrupt hydrogen bonds formed by highly conserved GPI amino ***:Early family-based sequencing analyses,especially for patients with congenital anemia,can help increase diagnostic accuracy for GPI deficiency,improve child healthcare,and enable genetic counseling.

AIM:To analyze the distribution of refractive status in school-age children with different corneal curvatures(CC)and the correlation between CC and refractive ***:A total of 2214 school-aged children of grade 4 in Hangzhou who were screened for school myopia were *** distance visual acuity(UCDVA),non-cycloplegic refraction,axial length(AL),horizontal and vertical corneal curvature(K1,K2)were measured and spherical equivalent(SE),corneal curvature radius(CCR)and axial length/corneal radius of curvature ratio(AL/CR)were ***sified as school-screening *** to the different CCRs,the patients were divided into the lower corneal curvature(LCC)group(CCR≥7.92)and the higher corneal curvature(HCC)group(CCRchildren without screening myopia was higher in the LCC group(62%)than in the HCC group(56%).Among these children without screening myopia,the proportion of long AL in the LCC group(24%)was significantly higher than that in the HCC group(0.012%;Pchildren in the LCC group have a lower incidence of screening myopia and longer *** CC can mask SE reduction and AL growth to some extent,and the change of AL growth change more in children with low CC than high *** the onset of myopia,its growth rate is even faster than that after the onset of myopia.

Following our earlier work on tomographic reconstruction of the magnetosheath soft X-ray emissions with superposed epoch analysis of many images recorded from a single spacecraft we now explore the instantaneous reconstruction of the magnetosheath and magnetopause using a few images recorded simultaneously from a few *** work is motivated by the prospect of possibly having two or three soft X-ray imagers in space in the coming years,and that many phenomena which occur at the magnetopause boundary,such as reconnection events and pressure pulse responses,do not lend themselves as well to superposed epoch *** the reconstruction is successful-which we demonstrate in this paper that it can be-this collection of imagers can be used to reconstruct the magnetosheath and magnetopause from a single image from each spacecraft,allowing for high time resolution *** this paper we explore the reconstruction using,two,three,and four *** show that the location of the subsolar point of the magnetopause can be determined with just two satellites,and that volume emissions of soft X-rays,and the shape of the boundary,can be reconstructed using three or more satellites.

As the cornerstone mission of the fourth phase of the chinese Lunar Exploration Program, Chang'E-7(CE-7) was officially approved, and implementation started in 2022, including a main probe and a communication relay satellite. The main probe, consisting of an orbiter, a lander, a rover and a mini-flying probe, is scheduled to be launched in 2026. The lander will land on Shackleton crater's illuminated rim near the lunar south pole, along with the rover and mini-flying probe. The relay satellite(named Queqiao-2) will be launched in February 2024 as an independent mission to support relay communication during scientific exploration undertaken by Chang'E-4, the upcoming Chang'E-6 in 2024 and subsequent lunar *** CE-7 mission is mainly aimed at scientific and resource exploration of the lunar south pole. We present CE-7's scientific objectives, the scientific payloads configuration and the main functions for each scientific payload with its key technical specifications.

Background:Lower urinary tract symptoms commonly occur in the elderly population and seriously constrain the quality of *** fibrosis is an important pathobiological process in benign prostatic hyperplasia and is also a main inducing factor for benign prostatic hyperplasia-associated lower urinary tract *** species is an important herbal medicine resource and is traditionally used in ameliorating renal and prostatic ***:This study was to investigate the potential protective function of echinacoside(a bioactive compound from Cistanches)against prostatic fibrosis in mice and human benign prostatic hyperplasia epithelial-1 cell ***:It was found that echinacoside attenuated testosterone-induced prostatic hyperplasia and collagen deposition in mice,relieved prostate local inflammation and oxidative damage,and ameliorated prostatic epithelial-mesenchymal ***,echinacoside inhibited the activation of the MKK6/MK2 signaling pathway both in vivo and in ***:This study added new evidence for the anti-fibrotic function of echinacoside on the prostate and provided new insights for understanding its possible pharmacological mechanisms.
