Performance Analysis of N-Continuous OFDM Systems with Low-Interference Signal

N-continuous orthogonal frequency division multiplexing(NC-OFDM)is a promising multicarrier transmission waveform conceived for improving sidelobe suppression performance.To reduce the severe inband interference in traditional NC-OFDM,we have proposed low-interference signal modeling for NC-OFDM.However,spectral leakage and error may be undesirably increased owing to the limited continuous differentiability of the smooth signal.In this paper,the low-interference scheme is investigated in terms of power spectrum density(PSD)and error performance,under the parameters of the highest derivative order(HDO)and the length of the smooth signal,to prove and quantify its advantages over traditional NC-OFDM.In the context of PSD,sidelobe decay is evaluated upon considering two discontinuous points due to the finite continuity of the smooth signal and its higher-order derivatives.Furthermore,it was shown that the low-interference scheme incurs small signal-to-noise ratio(SNR)loss and bit error rate(BER)for a short length of the smooth signal or a small HDO compared to traditional NC-OFDM.Meanwhile,due to the cyclostationarity loss imposed by the smooth signal,an effective solution is suggested for the time synchronization in a practical system.Based on analyses and simulation results,the trade offs between sidelobe suppression and BER are studied.

Clinical effect of Traditional Chinese Medicine diet therapy on bone marrow suppression after chemotherapy: a meta-analysis

OBJECITVES: Traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) diet therapy is a therapy that uses medicines with the same source of medicine and food as well as dishes composed of nutritious foods to help patients recover and improve their resistance. This meta-analysis focuses on the clinical efficacy of (TCM) diet therapy on bone marrow suppression after chemotherapy. We hypothesize that TCM diet therapy can alleviate bone marrow suppression in patients. METHODS: Computer search was conducted on Cochrane Library， Embase， Web of science， PubMed， CNKI， VIP， and Wanfang Data database from the establishment of the database to September 2020. Randomized controlled trials (RCT) of the clinical efficacy of TCM diet therapy in patients with bone marrow suppression are collected. Two investigators independently screened the literature according to the inclusion criteria， extracted data， and evaluated the risk of bias in the included studies by using ROB2.0. Then， RevMan5.3 software was used to perform meta-analysis， while GRADEpro was used to evaluate the level of evidence of the outcome indicators. RESULTS: Ten RCTs and 837 patients were included. Meta-analysis results show that compared with conventional diet care， the TCM diet therapy group can more effectively treat bone marrow suppression after chemotherapy for malignant tumors. It can also increase the counts of white blood cells， red blood cells， platelets， hemoglobin (MD=0.56， 95%CI=0.23–0.89， P=0.0009; MD=0.29， 95%CI=0.19–0.40， P<0.00001; MD=29.64， 95%CI=25.97–33.31， P<0.00001; SMD=0.86， 95%CI =0.25–1.47， P=0.006)， and other blood cells and improve the quality of life of patients (RR=1.28， 95%CI =1.09–1.51， P=0.003). The difference is statistically significant. The GRADE quality evaluation showed that among the outcome indicators， white blood cells， red blood cells， platelets， hemoglobin， hematocrit， and quality of life were moderate evidence that the albumin count was low， and the proportion of neutrophils was very low. 目的探究雷公藤甲素(TP)对坐骨神经痛大鼠的改善作用及机制。方法制备坐骨神经痛大鼠模型,然后将大鼠随机分为模型组(生理盐水),吲哚美辛组(阳性对照,7.5 mg/kg),低、高剂量TP干预组(分别记为TP-L组、TP-H组,50、100μg/kg TP)和高剂量TP+干扰素基因刺激因子(STING)激活剂干预组(TP-H+DMXAA组,100μg/kg TP+25 mg/kg DMXAA),每组12只;另取12只不结扎的大鼠作为假手术组(生理盐水)。腹腔注射给药/生理盐水14 d后,检测大鼠机械刺激缩足反射阈值(PWT)、热刺激缩足反射潜伏期(PWL);观察大鼠坐骨神经病理学改变、坐骨神经元形态及小胶质细胞数;检测大鼠坐骨神经中白细胞介素1β(IL-1β)、肿瘤坏死因子α(TNF-α)水平及环磷酸鸟苷-腺苷酸合成酶(cGAS)、STING mRNA及其蛋白表达。结果与假手术组比较,Model组大鼠PWT、PWL均显著降低/缩短(P<0.05),尼氏体数量显著减少(P<0.05);小胶质细胞数、坐骨神经病理学评分,IL-1β、TNF-α水平,cGAS、STING mRNA及其蛋白表达水均显著增加/升高(P<0.05);坐骨神经损伤严重。与Model组比较,吲哚美辛组、TP-L组、TP-H组大鼠各指标变化与上述相反(P<0.05),坐骨神经损伤减轻。STING激活剂DMXAA减弱了TP对坐骨神经痛大鼠小胶质细胞活性和炎症反应的抑制作用(P<0.05)。结论 TP可能通过下调cGAS/STING信号通路,降低小胶质细胞活性和炎症反应,从而改善大鼠坐骨神经痛。

碱激发泡沫混凝土是结合碱激发材料和泡沫混凝土性能优势发展的一种绿色低碳节能材料。与普通硅酸盐水泥水化产物和孔隙分布的差异使碱激发材料具有高收缩的缺点,限制了其应用和发展。本综述分析了毛细管张力理论、表面张力理论、分离压力理论和层间水迁移理论4种干燥收缩机制和影响因素,对比了碱激发泡沫混凝土与水泥基材料、碱激发材料收缩机制的异同。同时,总结了碱激发泡沫混凝土抑制收缩的最新研究进展。碱激发材料相较于水泥基材料干燥收缩更大的原因是水化产物的不同,碱激发泡沫混凝土的干燥收缩最主要与泡沫量有关,浆体越少干燥收缩值越小。最后,指出了碱激发泡沫混凝土未来发展和研究方向,为其绿色低碳化发展提供一有效途径。

Cross-metathesis of biomass to olefins:Molecular catalysis bridging the gap between fossil and bio-energy

Terminal olefins are important building blocks for the industry of biofuels,oligomers,and lubricants production.The industrial processes for production of olefins involving oligomerization of ethylene or cracking of petrochemical waxes have several flaws including low yield and high cost in product separation.Cross-metathesis of bio-derived unsaturated fatty esters and olefins with ethylene(ethenolysis),allows the conversion of sustainable waste biomass to various renewable olefins with much safer,less toxic,sustainable,and zero-CO_(2) emission processes.To our best knowledge,however,a comprehensive summary of key advances in this field(since 2017)is yet to be available,particularly on molecular features of homogeneous and heterogeneous catalysts.This paper presents a critical review on molecular structures of metal complex and oxide catalysts for ethenolysis of olefins and oleochemicals.The influence of cationic centers,coordination conditions,nature of ligands,operating conditions on catalyst performances will be systematically discussed along with relevant reaction mechanism.The key challenges for rational design of coordinated cationic hybrids have been summarized,which will provide insights to technological advancement of large-scale production of oleochemical-derived olefins.

To the Editor:Non-alcoholic fatty liver disease(NAFLD)becomes a worldwide epidemic with a currently estimated prevalence of 24%.The spectrum of NAFLD includes simple steatosis and non-alcoholic steatohepatitis.Folate,also called vitamin B9,is the generic term given to a family of compounds,including unsubstituted tetrahydrofolate(THF),5-methyltetrahydrofolate(5-MTHF),5-formyltetrahydrofolate(5-FTHF),5,10-methylene-THF(5,10-CH_(2)-THF),and unmetabolized folic acid(UMFA).Folic acid is usually added to products as a dietary supplement.

决奈达隆与胺碘酮对利伐沙班抗凝非瓣膜性房颤患者出血风险的影响比较

目的比较决奈达隆与胺碘酮对利伐沙班抗凝的房颤患者出血风险的影响。方法回顾性分析西安国际医学中心医院2020年1月至2023年7月使用利伐沙班抗凝的非瓣膜性房颤患者81例的临床资料,其中合并使用决奈达隆组36例,合并使用胺碘酮组45例。以出血事件发生率、血栓事件发生率、不良反应发生率为结局指标,比较决奈达隆与胺碘酮对利伐沙班抗凝的影响。结果决奈达隆组总出血[22.22%(8/36)]显著高于胺碘酮组[6.67%(3/45)](χ2=4.12,P0.05);所有患者未观察到血栓事件与决奈达隆或胺碘酮不良反应。结论与胺碘酮相比,决奈达隆显著增加非瓣膜性房颤患者利伐沙班抗凝的出血风险,且使用决奈达隆的患者降低利伐沙班剂量并不能降低出血风险。

Synthesis of PtCu-based nanocatalysts:Fundamentals and emerging challenges in energy conversion

Proton exchange membrane fuel cell and direct methanol fuel cells have gained more attention due to high-energy density,remarkable conversion efficiency,and low emission.However,their widely practical application was hindered by the high usage,limited sources,and high price of Pt catalysts.To achieve more cost-effective catalytic systems,PtCu-based multi-metallic nanoparticles are highly efficient for the oxygen reduction reaction(ORR)and methanol oxidation reaction(MOR).The incorporation of non-noble Cu metal can alter the properties of hybrids by forming new facets,planes,edges to promote the cleavage or formation of chemical bonds in catalytic reaction.This is a rapid growing area with numerous contributions from the interdisciplinary areas of nanocatalysis.This paper has summarized the recent progress in the past two years,in synthesizing PtCu-based alloys with various composition and morphologies,and critically discussed the effect of the catalyst preparation method,metal precursor,surfactant,reductant and heating temperature on nanostructure and electronic configuration.The important role of the composition,size,and morphology of PtCu bimetallic catalysts for electro oxidation reactions has been further established for structure-dependency studies.The challenges and perspectives of nanocatalysts for ORR and MOR discussed in this work is to provide further insights into rational design for cost-effective materials for energy.

Residue Return Effects Outweigh Tillage Effects on Soil Microbial Communities and Functional Genes in Black Soil Region of Northeast China

Conservation tillage as an effective alternative to mitigate soil degradation has attracted worldwide attention,but the influences of conservation tillage on soil microbial community and especially function remain unclear.Shotgun metagenomics sequencing was performed to examine the taxonomic and functional community variations of black soils under three tillage regimes,namely no-tillage with residue(maize straw)return(NTS),moldboard plow with residue return(MPS),and moldboard plow without residue return(MPN)in Northeast China.The results revealed:1)Soil bacterial and archaeal communities differed significantly under different tillage regimes in contrast to soil fungal community.2)The overlay of less tillage and residues return under NTS led to unique soil microbial community composition and functional composition.Specifically,in contrast to other treatments,NTS increased the relative abundances of some taxa such as Bradyrhizobium,Candidatus Solibacter,and Reyranella,along with the relative abundances of some taxa such as Sphingomonas,Unclassified Chloroflexi and Nitrososphaera decreased;NTS had a unique advantage of increasing the relative abundances of genes involved in‘ATP-binding cassette(ABC)transporters’and‘quorum sensing(QS)’pathways,while MPN favored the genes involved in‘flagellar assembly’pathway and some metabolic pathways such as‘carbon’and‘glyoxylate and dicarboxylate’and‘selenocompound’metabolisms.3)Significantly different soil bacterial phyla(Acidobacteria,Gemmatimonadetes,and Chloroflexi)and metabolic pathways existed between MPN and another two treatments(NTS and MPS),while did not exist between NTS and MPS.4)Dissolved organic carbon(DOC)and soil bulk density were significantly affected(P<0.05)by tillage and accounted for the variance both in microbial(bacterial)community structure and functional composition.These results indicated that a change in tillage regime from conventional to conservation tillage results in a shift of microbial community and functional genes,and we inferred that residue re

Oxygen reduction reaction over Pt-based catalyst is one of the most significant cathode reactions in fuel cells.However,low reserves and high price of Pt have motivated researchers worldwide seeking enhanced utilization efficiency and durability by doping non-noble metals to form Pt-based alloy catalysts.Alloying Pt with Co has been recognized as one of the most effective approaches to achieve this goal.PtCo bimetal combination is one of the most promising candidates to synthesize highly efficient catalysts for oxygen reduction reaction(ORR)applications,owing to its relatively more suitable oxygen binding energy for four-electron transfer reactions.Recently,impressive strategies have been developed to fabricate more active and stable PtCo-based multimetallic alloys with tailorable size and morphology.This paper aims to summarize the most recent highlights on the study of the relationship between preparation strategies,morphologies,electroactivities of the PtCo-based catalyst at atomic level and further the relevant reaction mechanism.The challenges and opportunities on the further development of electrocatalysts for fuel cells are included to provide reference for the practical application.
