Rare earth inorganic-organic hybrid compounds based on Keggin-type polyoxometalate {SiW_(12.} with fast-responsive photochromism and switchable luminescence properties

Four rare earth inorganic-organic hybrid compounds based on Keggin-type polyoxometalate {SiW_(12.}with general formula [{RE(DMF)_(4)(H_(2.O)_4RE(DMF)_(6)}_(2.{SiW_(12.O_(40)}_(3)](RE = La(1),Pr(2.,Sm(3),Eu(4),DMF=N,N-dimethylformamide) were synthesized by the conventional solution *** analyses indicate that four compounds are isostructural and are all built from three [SiW_(12.O_(40)]^(4-) polyoxoanions and DMF ligands linked by RE^(3+).Compounds 1-4 are extremely sensitive to UV light and present excellent photochromic properties,in which the coloring and fading time of samples are both no more than 2.min,and the reversible coloring-fading process can be repeated for at least 10 cycles with little fatigue,suggesting that compounds 1-4 can be a series of fast-responsive and durable photochromic ***,the solid-state photoluminescence spectra of compounds 3(Sm) and 4(Eu)display strong characteristic emissions of rare earth ions based on f-f ***,compound4(Eu) has a longer fluorescence lifetime up to 566.74 μ***,co mpounds 3(Sm) and 4(Eu) exhibit the switchable luminescence behavior induced by photochromism,which allows them to be used as potential molecular switches.

Natural gas hydrate(NGH)is generally produced and accumulated together with the underlying conventional ***,optimizing the production technology of these two gases should be seen as a relevant way to effectively reduce the exploitation cost of the gas *** this study,three types of models accounting for the coexistence of these gases are *** A considers the upper hydrate-bearing layer(HBL)adjacent to the lower conventional gas layer(CGL);with the Type B a permeable interlayer exists between the upper HBL and the lower CGL;with the type C there is an impermeable interlayer between the upper HBL and the lower *** production performances associated with the above three models are calculated under different conditions,including only a depressurized HBL(only HBL DP);only a depressurized CGL(only CGL DP);and both the HBL and the CGL being depressurized(HBL+CGL DP).The results show that for Type A and Type B coexistence accumulation models,when only HBL or CGL is depressurized,the gas from the other layer will flow into the production layer due to the pressure difference between the two *** the coexistence accumulation model of type C,the cumulative gas production is much lower than that of Type A and Type B,regardless of whether only HBL DP,only CGL DP,or HBL+CGL DP are *** indicates that the impermeable interlayer restricts the cross-flow of gas between HBL and *** three different coexistence accumulation models,CGL DP has the largest gas-to-water ratio.

Flexible ion-conductive materials exhibit intriguing advantages for applications in flexible electronic ***,the further enhancement of their conductivity within environmental limitations is an urgent demand for the development of flexible electronic devices,yet remains as a great ***,we report a“dual-acid”strategy,via the encapsulation of two acids,H_(3)PW_(12.O_(40)(HPW) and NH_(2.SO_(3)H(SA),with synergistic interaction into poly(vinyl alcohol)-glycerol(PVA-Gly) hydrogel,to achieve polyoxometalate(POM)-based flexible materials with superionic conductivity under various environmental *** a representative example,the prepared PVA-Gly/HPW-SA-2.% hydrogel presents an ultrahigh proton conductivity ranging from -30℃(3.33×10^(-2.S cm^(-1)) to room temperature(2.78×10^(-1)S cm^(-1)) under ambient ***,the PVA-Gly/HPW-SA-2.% hydrogel exhibits remarkable advantages in anti-freezing,mechanical flexibility and self-adhesiveness,making it a promising multifunctional electrolyte for flexible electronic *** experimental results and molecular dynamics(MD) simulations jointly demonstrate that SA bridges HPW clusters to form a dense proton transport pathway induced by multiple electrostatic and hydrogen bonding interactions between SA and HPW counterparts,which contributes to the high-level proton conductivity of the PVA-Gly/HPW-SA-2.% *** work provides new insights into the design of POM-based flexible materials with superionic conductivity.

Two-dimensional(2.)mesoporous pseudocapacitive polymer/graphene heterostructures combine the advanced merits of 2. materials and mesoporous materials,possessing unique nanosheet structure,large specific surface area(SSA),abundant oxygen/nitrogen-containing groups,desirable electrical conductivity and admirable electrochemical redox activity,and hold great potential for constructing high-performance planar micro-supercapacitors(MSCs).Herein,we demonstrate the interfacial assembly of 2. mesoporous polydopamine/graphene(mPDG)heterostructures with well-defined mesopore structure(12.nm)and adjustable thickness(7.5–14.1 nm)for planar high-energy pseudocapacitive *** to medium thickness,exposed mesopore of 12.nm and large SSA of 108 m^(2./g,the m PDG with 10.8 nm thickness reveals prominent mass capacitance of 419 F/g and impressive cycling stability with~96%capacitance retention after 5000 ***,the symmetric mPDG-based MSCs with“water-in-salt”gel electrolyte present wide voltage window of 1.6 V,superior volumetric energy density of 11.5 mWh/cm^(3),outstanding flexibility and self-integration ***,this work offers a new platform of controllably synthesizing 2. mesoporous heterostructures for high-performance MSCs.

Globally,sub-optimal use of nitrogen (N) fertiliser and elevated N irrigation groundwater have led to high leached nitrate (NO_(3)^(–)) losses from protected vegetable field *** fertiliser and irrigation management in different soil types is crucial to reduce future N loads from such *** present 4-year study examined leached N loads from lysimeter monitoring arrays set up across 18 protected vegetable system sites encompassing the dominant soil types of northern *** treatments applied at each field site were:1) a high N and high irrigation input treatment (HNHI);2. a low N but high irrigation input treatment (LNHI) and 3) a low N with low irrigation input treatment (LNLI).Results showed that the mean annual leached total nitrogen loads from the HNHI,LNHI and LNLI treatments were 32.,2.4 and 2.7 kg N ha^(–1) in the fluvo-aquic soil,114,100 and 78 kg N ha^(–1) in the cinnamon soil and 79,68 and 57 kg N ha^(–1) in the black soil,*** N dissolved in irrigation water in the fluvo-aquic soil areas was 8.2.-fold higher than in the cinnamon areas.A structural equation model showed that N fertiliser inputs and leaching water amounts explained 14.7 and 81.8%of the variation of leached N loads,***,reducing irrigation water by 2..5%decreased leached N loads by 2..9%,while reducing manure N and chemical N inputs by 2. and 2.%decreased leached N loads by only 9.5%. This study highlights that protected vegetable fields dominated by fluvo-aquic soil need management to curtail leached N losses in northern China.
