In recent years,there has been an increasing focus on the application of hydrogels in tissue *** integration of 3D bioprinting technology has expanded the potential applications of ***,few commercially available hydrogels used for 3D biological printing exhibit both excellent biocompatibility and mechanical *** methacrylate(GelMA)has good biocompatibility and is widely used in 3D ***,its low mechanical properties limit its use as a standalone bioink for 3D *** this work,we designed a biomaterial ink composed of GelMA and chitin nanocrystal(ChiNC).We explored fundamental printing properties of composite bioinks,including rheological properties,porosity,equilibrium swelling rate,mechanical properties,biocompatibility,effects on the secretion of angiogenic factors and fidelity of 3D *** results showed that adding 1%(w/v)ChiNC to 10%(w/v)GelMA improved the mechanical properties and printability of the GelMA hydrogels,promoted cell adhesion,proliferation and vascularization and enabled the printing of complex 3D *** strategy of incorporating ChiNC to enhance the performance of GelMA biomaterials could potentially be applied to other biomaterials,thereby expanding the range of materials available for ***,in combination with 3D bioprinting technology,this approach could be leveraged to bioprint scaffolds with complex structures,further broadening the potential applications in tissue engineering.

Electric Vehicle Charging Load Optimization Strategy Based on Dynamic Time-of-Use Tariff

Electric vehicle(EV)is an ideal solution to resolve the carbon emission issue and the fossil fuels scarcity problem in the ***,a large number of EVs will be concentrated on charging during the valley hours leading to new load peaks under the guidance of static time-of-use ***,this paper proposes a dynamic time-of-use tariff mechanism,which redefines the peak and valley time periods according to the predicted loads using the fuzzy C-mean(FCM)clustering algorithm,and then dynamically adjusts the peak and valley tariffs according to the actual load of each time *** on the proposed tariff mechanism,an EV charging optimization model with the lowest cost to the users and the lowest variance of the grid-side load as the objective function is ***,a weight selection principle with an equal loss rate of the two objectives is proposed to transform the multi-objective optimization problem into a single-objective optimization ***,the EV charging load optimization model under three tariff strategies is set up and solved with the mathematical solver *** results show that the EV charging load optimization strategy based on the dynamic time-of-use tariff can better balance the benefits between charging stations and users under different numbers and proportions of EVs connected to the grid,and can effectively reduce the grid load variance and improve the grid load curve.

Evolution and Determinants of Population Agglomeration in Less Developed Metropolitan Areas:A Case Study of the Taiyuan Metropolitan Area,China

It is of importance to enhance the urban areas'capacity for population aggregation in underdeveloped regions,aiming to rectify the imbalanced and insufficient pattern of economic development in *** the Taiyuan Metropolitan Area(TMA)in central China as a case study,this paper examines the evolutionary process and characteristics of population agglomeration from 2000 to 2020,and identifies factors associated with agglomeration and their spatial *** findings indicated that:1)against the background of sustained population shrinkage in the provincial area,the TMA showed a demographic trend of steady increase,albeit with a decelerated growth *** the metropolitan area,urban population size continued to grow rapidly,whereas the rural areas endured sustained *** in city size continued to widen,and the polarization of concentrated population in the core cities kept increasing.2)Agglomerations in both secondary and service industries had significant positive effects on local population agglomeration,with the former effect being *** economic development,government fiscal expenditure,and financial advancement all contributed to facilitating local population *** a spatial spillover perspective,service agglomeration and financial development promoted population agglomeration in surrounding ***,fiscal expenditure inhibited such *** for industrial agglomeration and regional economic development,their spatial spillover effects were *** results obtained reveal several policy implications aimed at enhancing the population agglomeration capacity of the metropolitan area in underdeveloped regions during the new era.

Closure Effect of Ⅰ+Ⅱ Mixed-mode Crack for EA4T Axle Steel

The crack-closure effect is a crucial factor that affects the crack growth rate and should be considered in simulation analysis and testing. A mixed-mode I + II loading fatigue crack growth test was performed using EA4T axle steel specimens. The variation of the plastic-induced crack closure(PICC) effect and the roughness-induced crack closure(RICC) effect during crack deflection in the mixed-mode is examined in this study. The results show that the load perpendicular to the crack propagation direction hinders the slip effect caused by the load parallel to the crack propagation direction under mixed-mode loading, and the crack deflection is an intuitive manifestation of the interaction between the PICC and RICC. The proportion of the RA value change on the crack side caused by contact friction was reduced by the interaction between PICC and RICC. The roughness of the crack surface before and after the crack deflection is different, and the spatial torsion crack surface is formed during the crack propagation process. With the increase of the crack length, the roughness of the fracture surface increases. During the crack deflection process,the PICC value fluctuates around 0.2, and the RICC value is increased to 0.15.

Evolutionary computation is a rapidly evolving field and the related algorithms have been successfully used to solve various real-world optimization *** past decade has also witnessed their fast progress to solve a class of challenging optimization problems called high-dimensional expensive problems(HEPs).The evaluation of their objective fitness requires expensive resource due to their use of time-consuming physical experiments or computer ***,it is hard to traverse the huge search space within reasonable resource as problem dimension *** evolutionary algorithms(EAs)tend to fail to solve HEPs competently because they need to conduct many such expensive evaluations before achieving satisfactory *** reduce such evaluations,many novel surrogate-assisted algorithms emerge to cope with HEPs in recent *** there lacks a thorough review of the state of the art in this specific and important *** paper provides a comprehensive survey of these evolutionary algorithms for *** start with a brief introduction to the research status and the basic concepts of ***,we present surrogate-assisted evolutionary algorithms for HEPs from four main *** also give comparative results of some representative algorithms and application ***,we indicate open challenges and several promising directions to advance the progress in evolutionary optimization algorithms for HEPs.

Turbo-shaft engine adaptive neural network control based on nonlinear state space equation

Intelligent Adaptive Control(AC) has remarkable advantages in the control system design of aero-engine which has strong nonlinearity and uncertainty. Inspired by the Nonlinear Autoregressive Moving Average(NARMA)-L2 adaptive control, a novel Nonlinear State Space Equation(NSSE) based Adaptive neural network Control(NSSE-AC) method is proposed for the turbo-shaft engine control system design. The proposed NSSE model is derived from a special neural network with an extra layer, and the rotor speed of the gas turbine is taken as the main state variable which makes the NSSE model be able to capture the system dynamic better than the NARMA-L2 model. A hybrid Recursive Least-Square and Levenberg-Marquardt(RLS-LM) algorithm is advanced to perform the online learning of the neural network, which further enhances both the accuracy of the NSSE model and the performance of the adaptive controller. The feedback correction is also utilized in the NSSE-AC system to eliminate the steady-state tracking error. Simulation results show that, compared with the NARMA-L2 model, the NSSE model of the turboshaft engine is more accurate. The maximum modeling error is decreased from 5.92% to 0.97%when the LM algorithm is introduced to optimize the neural network parameters. The NSSE-AC method can not only achieve a better main control loop performance than the traditional controller but also limit all the constraint parameters efficiently with quick and accurate switching responses even if component degradation exists. Thus, the effectiveness of the NSSE-AC method is validated.

Dormancy is an adaptive trait which prevents seeds from germinating under unfavorable environmental *** with weak dormancy undergo pre-harvest sprouting(PHS)which decreases grain yield and *** the genetic mechanisms that regulate seed dormancy and resistance to PHS is crucial for ensuring global food *** this study,we illustrated the function and molecular mechanism of TaSRO1 in the regulation of seed dormancy and PHS resistance by suppressing *** tasro1 mutants exhibited strong seed dormancy and enhanced resistance to PHS,whereas the mutants of tavp1 displayed weak *** evidence has shown that TaVP1 is epistatic to *** evidence has shown that TaSRO1 interacts with TaVP1 and represses the transcriptional activation of the PHS resistance genes TaPHS1 and ***,TaSRO1 undermines the synergistic activation of TaVP1 and TaABI5 in PHS resistance ***,we highlight the great potential of tasro1 alleles for breeding elite wheat cultivars that are resistant to PHS.

A method to determine the bonded-particle model parameters for simulation of ores

The bonded-particle model(BPM)is commonly used in the numerical analysis of ore *** improve the accuracy of simulating the mechanical process of ore process of ore crushing in a crusher,the parameters of the BPM for the ore must be *** this study,a calibration method was proposed for the scientific determination of the parameters of the BPM for ore undergoing uniaxial ***,physical tests and simulations were conducted to determine the mechanical response(uniaxial compressive strength and macroscopic stiffness)of ore during uniaxial ***,the sensitivity of the mechanical response to the values of microscopic parameters was tested using a Plackett-Burman ***,the microscopic parameters with the greatest impact on the response were identified,and the range of parameters that met the target response was determined using a steepest ascent design;Second,a second-order model of the mechanical response was established using the sensitive parameters by combining a Box-Behnken design with response surface methodology to obtain the optimal BPM *** tests showed that the normal stiffness per unit area,critical shear stress,and bonded disk radius had significant effects on the uniaxial compressive strength(UCS)and macroscopic stiffness(MS).To verify the validity of the proposed calibration method,laboratory tests were *** consistency of the simulation results with experimental results indicated that response surface methodology with the Plackett-Burman design,steepest ascent design,and Box-Behnken design can be an effective method for calibrating the BPM of ores.

It is still a challenge to simultaneously enhance coercivity(H_(cj))and remanence(J_(r))of hot-deformed Nd-Fe-B magnet due to the coercivity-remanence trade-off ***,we achieved this balance between H_(cj)and Jr by flake Cu powder assisted DyF_(3)interflake *** Hcj increases from 1218 to 1496 kA/m and Jr increases from 1.32 to 1.34 T compared with the original *** show that the width of coarse grain layers reduces because of the introduction of flake Cu,which increases the contact areas of the adjacent grains at ribbon interfaces and suppresses the excessive growth of *** stronger degree of texture and higher density compared with the original magnet should take the responsibility for the increase of J_(r).Additionally,the aggregation regions of rare earth rich(RE-rich)phase reduce and the betterment of the microstructure is another reason for the enhancement of Jr in the flake Cu aided DyF_(3)hot-deformed *** strategy of using flake powder additives provides a promising method for optimizing microstructure and enhancing magnetic properties of hot-deformed Nd-Fe-B magnets.

Immune checkpoint inhibitors:breakthroughs in cancer treatment

Over the past two decades,immunotherapies have increasingly been considered as first-line treatments for most *** such treatment is immune checkpoint blockade(ICB),which has demonstrated promising results against various solid tumors in clinical *** antibodies(mAbs)are currently available as immune checkpoint inhibitors(ICIs).These ICIs target specific immune checkpoints,including cytotoxic T-lymphocyte-associated antigen-4(CTLA-4)and programmed cell death protein 1(PD-1).Clinical trial results strongly support the feasibility of this immunotherapeutic ***,a substantial proportion of patients with cancer develop resistance or tolerance to treatment,owing to tumor immune evasion mechanisms that counteract the host immune ***,substantial research focus has been aimed at identifying additional ICIs or synergistic inhibitory receptors to enhance the effectiveness of anti-PD-1,anti-programmed cell death ligand 1(anti-PD-L1),and anti-CTLA-4 ***,several immune checkpoint molecular targets have been identified,such as T cell immunoreceptor with Ig and ITIM domains(TIGIT),mucin domain containing-3(TIM-3),lymphocyte activation gene-3(LAG-3),V-domain immunoglobulin suppressor of T cell activation(VISTA),B and T lymphocyte attenuator(BTLA),and signal-regulatory proteinα(SIRPα).Functional m Abs targeting these molecules are under ***-4,PD-1/PD-L1,and other recently discovered immune checkpoint proteins with distinct structures are at the forefront of *** review discusses these structures,as well as clinical progress in m Abs targeting these immune checkpoint molecules and their potential applications.
