FeS2 quantum-dots/functionalized graphene-sheet （QDs/FGS） composites are prepared by a facile and scalable method. The FeS2 QDs/FGS composites can be used as anode materials for sodium-ion batteries. The FeS2 QDs/FGS composites can achieve large specific discharge and charge capacities of 742 and 683 mAh·g-1 （based on the total mass of the FeS2 QDs/FGS composites） at the current density of 0.5 A·g-1 in the first cycle, respectively, and retain a reversible charge capacity of 552 mAh·g-1 after 100 cycles. The FeS2 QDs/FGS composites can display high specific capacities of 452 and 315 mAh·g-1 at the high current densities of 2 and 5 A·g-1. These results indicate that the FeS2 QDs/FGS composites have good cycle performance and high rate capability, making them promising candidates as anode material for sodium-ion batteries.

Spatial Variability of PM_(2.5) Pollution in Imbalanced Natural and Socioeconomic Processes: Evidence from the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei Region of China

Accurately identifying and quantifying the factors influencing PM_(2.5) pollution is of great significance for the prevention and control of pollution. However, the redundancy among potential factors of PM_(2.5) may be overlooked. Meanwhile, the inconsistent spatial distribution of the natural and socioeconomic conditions brings unique implications for the cities within a region, which may lead to an uncertain understanding of the relationship between pollution and environmental factors. This study focused on the Beijing-TianjinHebei(BTH) Region, China, which presents complex and varied background conditions. Potential impact factors on PM_(2.5) were firstly screened by combining systematic cluster analysis with a random forest recursive feature elimination algorithm. Then, the representative multi-factor responsible for PM_(2.5) pollution in the region during the key period of 2014–2018(when the strict national air pollution control policy was implemented). The results showed that the key driving factors of PM_(2.5) pollution in the BTH cities are different, indicating that the uniqueness of a city will have an impact on the leading causes of pollution. Further discussion shows that air control policy provides an effective way to improve air quality. This study aims to deepen the understanding of the risk drivers of air pollution within the BTH Region. In the future, it is recommended that more attention should be paid to the specific differences between the cities when formulating PM_(2.5) concentration control measures.

Gaussian sampling over the integers is one of the fundamental building blocks of lattice-based *** the extensively used trapdoor sampling algorithms,it is ineluctable until *** the influence of numerous side-channel attacks,it is still challenging to construct a Gaussian sampler that is generic,efficient,and resistant to timing *** this paper,our contribution is ***,we propose a secure,efficient exponential Bernoulli sampling *** can be applied to Gaussian samplers based on rejection *** apply it to FALCON,a candidate of round 3 of the NIST post-quantum cryptography standardization project,and reduce its signature generation time by 13–14%.Second,we develop an isochronous Gaussian sampler based on rejection *** Algorithm can securely sample from Gaussian distributions with different standard deviations and arbitrary *** apply it to PALISADE(S&P 2018),an open-source lattice-based cryptography *** the online phase of trapdoor sampling,the running time of the G-lattice sampling algorithm is reduced by 44.12%while resisting timing ***,we improve the efficiency of the COSAC sampler(PQC 2020).The new COSAC sampler is 1.46x-1.63x faster than the original and has the lowest expected number of trials among all Gaussian samplers based on rejection *** it needs a more efficient algorithm sampling from the normal distribution to improve its performance.

A sub-micron structured film with a poly(3-methylthiophene) (P3MT)-modified CdTe/ZnO shell-core sub-micron tube array has been prepared by a series of electrodeposition processes, and a semiconductor-sensitized solar cell based on this structure was also fabricated. Vertically oriented ZnO sub-micron tubes were obtained on an indium tin oxide (ITO) substrate, and then CdTe nanocrystals and a thin P3MT layer were electrodeposited sequentially onto the walls of the ZnO sub-micron tubes. A suitable thickness of CdTe and P3MT could improve the photovoltaic properties of the solar cell, which was attributed to the enhancement in the light absorption and the decrease in the recombination of photogenerated carriers. In addition, a p–n heterojunction formed between the interface of CdTe and P3MT played an important part in the efficient separation and fast transport of photogenerated carriers in the sub-micron structure. A power conversion efficiency of 1.20% was obtained with this type of solar cell.

The corrosion behavior of a NdFeB magnet obtained at room temperature,with and without ultrasonic were *** corrosion resistance was investigated by corrosion immersion tests in 3 wt%neutral NaCl solutions,potentiodynamic polarization tests and electrochemical impedance spectroscopy(EIS).The morphology of the conversion coatings on NdFeB surface were analyzed by scanning electron microscopy(SEM).And the forming mechanism of coatings was studied by potential-time *** tests of corrosion resistances show that the combination of phosphating treatment with ultrasonic will further improve the corrosion resistance of the *** SEM also confirms that phosphating coating under ultrasonic is more homogeneous and compact.

In this work, a novel duplex Ni-P/Ni-Mo-P coating upon the aluminum（Al） substrate was synthesized via an electroless plating, i.e., the binary Ni-P coating as a transition layer and the ternary Ni-Mo-P coating on the top. It was found that the duplex coating was of a high hardness,large elastic modulus,low porosity and excellent corrosion resistance. In addition, experimental results revealed that for a total 20 μm coating thickness, the duplex coating with a 7 μm of the Ni-Mo-P coating exhibited the best corrosion resistance in 0.5 mol/L sulfuric acid solution, which was attributed to its compact structure and low porosity. This duplex Ni-P/Ni-Mo-P coating with a thin ternary Ni-Mo-P layer is expected to solve the problem of low deposition rate of ternary alloy coating and thereby may expand applications of Al and its alloys in the fields of machine manufacture and corrosion environment.

Influence of deformation path on the forming effect in a multistep flexible rolling process

The flexible rolling process(FRP) is a novel three-dimensional(3 D) forming process that combines the multipoint and traditional rolling forming. The principle of FRP is based on thickness thinning, so the deformation path significantly impacts the forming effect. In this study, the multistep forming process with different deformation paths was introduced to improve the forming effect of FRP. For instance, with the convex surface part, three finite element models of multistep FRP(MSFRP) were established. The corresponding numerical simulations and forming experiments performed among different deformation paths showed the surface part with a longer effective forming region was obtained and the forming regions with more steps in MSFRP were smoother. Thus, the sheet-metal utilization rate was greatly improved. Moreover, the MSFRP can improve the longitudinal bending effect dramatically and thereby endowing the forming part with a better forming effect. Therefore, MSFRP is a prospective method for broad applications.

Reconfigurable devices with customized functionalities hold great potential in addressing the scaling limits of silicon-based field-effect transistors(FETs).The conventional reconfigurable FETs are limited to the applications in logic circuits,and the commonly used multi-gate programming strategies often lead to high power consumption and device ***,we report a reconfigurable WSe_(2) optoelectronic device that can function as photodiode,artificial synapse,and 2-bit memory in a single device,enabled by an asymmetric floating gate(AFG)that can continuously program the device into different homojunction *** lateral p-n homojunction formed in the AFG device exhibits high-performance self-powered photodetection,with a responsivity over 0.17 A·W^(-1) and a wide detection spectral range from violet to near-infrared *** AFG device can also mimic synaptic features of biological synapses and achieve distinct potentiation/depression behaviors under the modulation of both drain-source bias and light ***,when working as a 2-bit memory via the transition between n-n+and p-n homojunctions,the AFG device shows four distinct conductive states with a high on/off current ratio over 106 and good *** reduced processing complexity and reconfigurable functionalities,the WSe_(2) AFG devices demonstrate great potential towards high-performance photoelectric interconnected circuits.

The incipient plasticity and dislocation behavior in a nanocrystalline(NC)CrCoNi medium-entropy alloy were systematically investigated in terms of pop-in events during instrumental nano-indentation *** statistical analysis and molecular dynamic simulations were performed to reveal the effects of grain boundaries(GBs)on initial stages of plastic *** pop-in events appeared during loading on the NC *** first pop-in that represents the initial yielding was identified to be controlled by dislocation nucleation,which is in sharp contrast to the continuous elastic-plastic transition mediated by GB mechanisms in NC pure *** can be attributed to the sluggish kinetics of the chemically complex GBs(CCGBs)in the NC CrCoNi that hinders diffusive GB activities but facilitates dislocation *** pop-ins were also found to be closely related to the extra dragging effects imposed by the CCGBs on dislocation propagation in the NC ***,the extremely small grain sizes and the consequent high-volume fraction of GBs in the NC alloy severely restrict the lengths of dislocation source and the radii of dislocation loop,giving rise to a higher critical stress,smaller activation volume and lower pop-in width as compared with its coarse-grained *** results provide new insights into the onset of nano-plasticity in concentrated multi-principal element alloys.
