Investigation of suitable precursors for manganese oxide catalysts in ethyl acetate oxidation

The control of ethyl acetate emissions from fermentation and extraction processes in the pharmaceutical industry is of great importance to the *** have developed three Mn_(2)O_(3)catalysts by using different Mn precursors(MnCl_(2),Mn(CH_(3)COO)_(2),MnSO_(4)),named as Mn_(2)O_(3)-Cl,-Ac,-SO_(4).The tested catalytic activity results showed a sequence with Mn precursors as:Mn_(2)O_(3)-Cl>Mn_(2)O_(3)-Ac>Mn_(2)O_(3)-SO_(4).The Mn_(2)O_(3)-Cl catalyst reached a complete ethyl acetate conversion at 212℃(75℃lower than that of Mn_(2)O_(3)-SO_(4)),and this high activity 100%could be maintained high at 212℃for at least 100 *** characterization data about the physical properties of catalysts did not show an obvious correlation between the structure and morphology of Mn_(2)O_(3)catalysts and catalytic performance,neither was the surface area the determining factor for catalytic activity in the ethyl acetate *** we firstly found there is a close linear relationship between the catalytic activity and the amount of lattice oxygen species in the ethyl acetate oxidation,indicating that lattice oxygen species were essential for excellent catalytic *** H_(2)temperature-programmed reduction(H_(2)-TPR)results,we found that the lowest initial reduction temperature over the Mn_(2)O_(3)-Cl had stronger oxygen mobility,thus more oxygen species participated in the oxidation reaction,resulting in the highest catalytic *** convenient preparation,high efficiency,and stability,Mn_(2)O_(3)prepared with MnCl_(2)will be a promising catalyst for removing ethyl acetate in practical application.

Significant enhancement in water resistance of Pd/Al2O3 catalyst for benzene oxidation by Na addition

A series of Na-doped 1 wt% Pd/Al2O3 catalysts with different Na loadings were prepared by wet impregnation and tested for the catalytic oxidation of benzene. Suitable addition of Na had a remarkable promotion effect on water resistance and enhancement of low temperature activity of Pd/Al2O3 catalysts. The optimal mole ratio between Na and Pd was 1:1. The properties of the prepared catalysts were characterized by X-ray diffraction (XRD), Brunauer Emmett Teller (BET), transmission electron microscopy (TEM), X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS), O2-temperature-programmed desorption (O2-TPD), and in situ DRIFTS. Results indicated that the addition of Na not only decreased the content of adsorbed water species but also increased the amount of liable surface oxygen species, which are likely the key factors for the excellent water resistance of the catalyst. Na addition also improved the mobility of the lattice oxygen species, which was favorable for catalytic activity. Moreover, the well-dispersed negatively charged Pd particles and suitable redox properties derived from Na addition also contributed to the improved performance and water resistance of the Na1Pd1/Al2O3 catalyst. In situ DRIFTS results revealed that benzene was oxidized to maleate and acetate species via intermediate o-benzoquinone species, which finally turned into harmless CO2 and H2O.

Cutaneous exposure to food allergens through a disrupted skin barrier is recognized as an important cause of food allergy,and the cutaneous sensitized mouse model has been established to investigate relevant allergic ***,the role of different genetic backgrounds of mice on immune responses to food allergens upon epicutaneous sensitization is largely *** this study,two strains of mice,i.e.,the BALB/c and C57BL/6 mice,were epicutaneously sensitized with ovalbumin on atopic dermatitis(AD)-like skin lesions,followed by intragastric challenge to induce IgE-mediated food *** outcomes were measured as clinical signs,specific antibodies and cytokines,and immune cell subpopulations,as well as changes in intestinal barrier function and gut *** showed that both strains of mice exhibited typical food-allergic symptoms with a Th2-skewed *** C57BL/6 mice,rather than the BALB/c mice,were fitter for establishing an epicutaneously sensitized model of food allergy since a stronger Th2-biased response and severer disruptions in the intestinal barrier and gut homeostasis were *** study provides knowledge for selecting an appropriate mouse model to study food-allergic responses associated with AD-like skin lesions and highlights the role of genetic variations in the immune mechanism underlying pathogenesis of food allergy.

With the rapid development of the Internet of Things(IoTs),wearable sensors are playing an increasingly important role in daily monitoring of personal health and *** signal-to-noise-ratio has become the most critical performance factor to *** enhance it,on the one hand,good sensing materials/devices have been employed;on the other hand,signal amplification and noise reduction circuits have been ***,most of these devices and circuits work in an active sampling mode,requiring frequent data acquisition and hence,entailing high-power *** this scenario,a flexible and wearable event-triggered sensor with embedded signal amplification without an external power supply is of great ***,we report a flexible two-terminal piezotronic n-p-n bipolar junction transistor(PBJT)that acts as an autonomous and highly sensitive,current-and/or voltage-mediated pressure *** PBJT is formed by two back-to-back piezotronic diodes which are defined as emitter-base and collectorbase *** force exertion on the emitter side,as a result of the piezoelectric effect,the emitter-base diode is forward biased while the collector-base diode is reverse *** to the inherent BJT amplification effect,the PBJT achieves record-high sensitivities of 139.7 kPa^(-1)(current-based)and 88.66 kPa^(-1)(voltage-based)in sensing *** PBJT also has a fast response time of<110 ms under exertion of dynamic stimuli ranging from a flying butterfly to a gentle finger ***,the PBJT advances the state of the art not only in terms of sensitivity but also in regard to being self-driven and autonomous,making it promising for pressure sensing and other IoT applications.

Complex plasma fluctuation processes have been extensively studied in many aspects,especially lattice waves in strongly coupled plasma crystals,which are of great significance for understanding fundamental physical phenomena.A challenge of experimental investigations in two-dimensional strongly coupled complex plasma crystals is to keep the main body and foreign particles of different masses on the same horizontal *** solve the problem,we have proposed a potential well formed by two negatively biased grids to bind the negatively charged particles in a two-dimensional(2D)plane,thus achieving a 2D plasma crystal in the microgravity *** study of such phenomena in complex plasma crystals under microgravity environment then becomes *** this paper,we focus on the continuum spectrum,including both phonon and optic branches of the impurity mode in a 2D system in microgravity *** results show the dispersion relation of the longitudinal and transverse impurity oscillation modes and their *** the macroscopic visibility of complex mesoscopic particle lattices,theoretical and experimental studies on this kind of complex plasma systems will help us further understand the physical nature of a wide range of condensed matters.

Effective prediction of Nitrogen Oxides(NOx) emissions in thermal power plants is essential for addressing environmental pollution control. The Selective Catalytic Reduction(SCR) system plays a pivotal role in mitigating NOx output, yet its performance can vary significantly due to operational conditions. This study investigates the prediction of NOx emissions in Selective Catalytic Reduction(SCR) systems within thermal power plants. Time delay mechanism is an essential factor for accurate modeling and prediction. Therefore, we incorporate a time delay of 120 samples into our feature engineering and analysis. Six predictive models, including five regression models and one Long Short-Term Memory(LSTM) neural network, are employed to analyze the temporal dynamics of NOx emissions. The regression models were selected for their varied methodologies and strengths in handling different types of data distributions and features, whereas the LSTM model was specifically utilized for its proficiency in processing sequential data, capturing long-term dependencies crucial for time-series forecasting. The performance of these models was evaluated using three statistical metrics: Root Mean Squared Error(RMSE), Mean Absolute Error(MAE), and the coefficient of determination(R2). Among the models, the Extra Trees regression model demonstrated superior accuracy in predicting NOx emissions, outperforming other models.

巨型平台经营者通过构建平台聚合生态系统,利用网络效应、规模经济以及数据获取壁垒等方式加大对数据流通渠道的控制力度,挤压竞争者的发展空间,最终在多个关联市场中获得市场力量和垄断地位。基于对已有规范实践的考察以及数据流通限制的经济效果分析可以发现,数据流通限制不仅增加了中小平台经营者的数据收集、分析以及利用成本,还有可能产生阻却中小平台经营者突破数字市场壁垒、损害消费者价格与选择权益以及抑制创新动能等竞争限制效果。因此,数据流通限制状态应受到反垄断规制的高度重视。

长视频版权方与短视频平台之间的矛盾是愈演愈烈的长短视频之争中需要首先解决的问题,短视频版权侵权行为中平台责任的认定亟须得到明确。合理使用情形的排除是平台担责的前提,重点是对“适当引用”条款的理解,应通过非实质性引用和比例原则检验引用是否适当。避风港规则是判断平台是否被归责的标准,红旗原则是排除避风港规则适用的例外。平台对用户上传内容的实质审查义务取决于平台对内容的版权性接触事实或接触可能,但平台对内容的合规审查义务并不必然触发其对内容版权合法性的审查义务。提供网络服务的类型是平台担责的基础,平台身份越靠近网络中介服务提供者,越有可能通过避风港规则免责;反之,平台身份越靠近网络内容提供者,越难以通过避风港规则免责。
