Monitoring various internal parameters plays a core role in ensuring the safety of lithium-ion batteries in power supply applications.It also influences the sustainability effect and online state of charge prediction.An improved multiple feature-electrochemical thermal coupling modeling method is proposed considering low-temperature performance degradation for the complete characteristic expression of multi-dimensional information.This is to obtain the parameter influence mechanism with a multi-variable coupling relationship.An optimized decoupled deviation strategy is constructed for accurate state of charge prediction with real-time correction of time-varying current and temperature effects.The innovative decoupling method is combined with the functional relationships of state of charge and open-circuit voltage to capture energy management ef-fectively.Then,an adaptive equivalent-prediction model is constructed using the state-space equation and iterative feedback correction,making the proposed model adaptive to fractional calculation.The maximum state of charge estimation errors of the proposed method are 4.57% and 0.223% under the Beijing bus dynamic stress test and dynamic stress test conditions,respectively.The improved multiple feature-electrochemical thermal coupling modeling realizes the effective correction of the current and temperature variations with noise influencing coefficient,and provides an efficient state of charge prediction method adaptive to complex conditions.

Efficient and accurate health state estimation is crucial for lithium-ion battery(LIB)performance monitoring and economic evaluation.Effectively estimating the health state of LIBs online is the key but is also the most difficult task for energy storage systems.With high adaptability and applicability advantages,battery health state estimation based on data-driven techniques has attracted extensive attention from researchers around the world.Artificial neural network(ANN)-based methods are often used for state estimations of LIBs.As one of the ANN methods,the Elman neural network(ENN)model has been improved to estimate the battery state more efficiently and accurately.In this paper,an improved ENN estimation method based on electrochemical impedance spectroscopy(EIS)and cuckoo search(CS)is established as the EIS-CS-ENN model to estimate the health state of LIBs.Also,the paper conducts a critical review of various ANN models against the EIS-CS-ENN model.This demonstrates that the EIS-CS-ENN model outperforms other models.The review also proves that,under the same conditions,selecting appropriate health indicators(HIs)according to the mathematical modeling ability and state requirements are the keys in estimating the health state efficiently.In the calculation process,several evaluation indicators are adopted to analyze and compare the modeling accuracy with other existing methods.Through the analysis of the evaluation results and the selection of HIs,conclusions and suggestions are put forward.Also,the robustness of the EIS-CS-ENN model for the health state estimation of LIBs is verified.

Prediction of network public opinion features in urban planning based on geographical case-based reasoning

As a significant part of sustainable urban development proposed by the United Nations,urban planning is related to the ecological environment and transportation,especially affecting quality of life and social well-being. In the process of urban planning,the public express their opinions on open network platforms,resulting in large quantities of network public opinion data,which has important implications for evaluating urban planning. Based on the idea of geographical case-based reasoning (CBR),this paper constructs an expression framework for urban planning cases in the form of a ‘case problem–case attribute–case result’ triad. On this basis,this paper proposes a similarity calculation method of urban planning cases that integrates case attribute. Finally,based on an improvement to the traditional k-nearest neighbors method,the proposed public opinion feature calculation model considers similarity weights,which allow us to predict network public opinion features,including viewpoint-level emotional tendency and concerned groups of urban planning cases. The experimental result shows similarity weights (SWs) model could effectively improve the prediction accuracy,where the average MIC-F1 score reached more than 74%. Based on CBR,the proposed method can predict the development trends of public opinion in future planning cases,and provide scientific and reasonable decision support for urban planning.

Multi-time scale identification of key kinetic processes for lithium-ion batteries considering variable characteristic frequency

The electrification of vehicles puts forward higher requirements for the power management efficiency of integrated battery management systems as the primary or sole energy supply.In this paper,an efficient adaptive multi-time scale identification strategy is proposed to achieve high-fidelity modeling of complex kinetic processes inside the battery.More specifically,a second-order equivalent circuit model network considering variable characteristic frequency is constructed based on the high-frequency,medium-high-frequency,and low-frequency characteristics of the key kinetic processes.Then,two coupled sub-filters are developed based on forgetting factor recursive least squares and extended Kalman filtering methods and decoupled by the corresponding time-scale information.The coupled iterative calculation of the two sub-filter modules at different time scales is realized by the voltage response of the kinetic diffusion process.In addition,the driver of the low-frequency subalgorithm with the state of charge variation amount as the kernel is designed to realize the adaptive identification of the kinetic diffusion process parameters.Finally,the concept of dynamical parameter entropy is introduced and advocated to verify the physical meaning of the kinetic parameters.The experimental results under three operating conditions show that the mean absolute error and root-mean-square error metrics of the proposed strategy for voltage tracking can be limited to 13 and 16 mV,respectively.Additionally,from the entropy calculation results,the proposed method can reduce the dispersion of parameter identification results by a maximum of 40.72%and 70.05%,respectively,compared with the traditional fixed characteristic frequency algorithms.The proposed method paves the way for the subsequent development of adaptive state estimators and efficient embedded applications.

Establishment of highly efficient plant regeneration of Paeonia ostii‘Fengdan’through optimization of callus,adventitious shoot,and rooting induction

Tree peony is a famous ornamental plant,while the low propagation rate is the main hurdles hindering the industry development.Till now,the highly efficient regeneration system for tree peony is not established.In this study,using Paeonia ostii’Fengdan’mature embryos,the effects of variations in inoculation method,initiating culture,adventitious shoot induction,rooting media,plant growth regulators(PGRs),and a nonconventional PGR(plant extracts)on regeneration from explants were evaluated.In embryo cultures,embryonic callus induction rate of 1/4 embryos was the highest among those of embryos with other three technical treatments(whole embryos,1/2 embryos,and pieces of embryos).The woody plant medium(WPM)containing 1.0 mg·L^(-1)6-BA,0.5 mg·L^(-1)GA3,30.0 g·L^(-1)sucrose,and 3.0 g·L^(-1)phytagel significantly improved shoot induction and multiplication.3.0 mg·L^(-1)plant extracts promoted hypocotyl germination,rooting,and root growth,in direct embryo culture,and a combination of 3.0 mg·L^(-1)plant extracts+2.0 mg·L^(-1)IBA+1.5 mg·L^(-1)IAA produced optimal rooting induction rate for multiple shoots in direct embryo culture and indirect somatic embryogenesis.For the three in vitro micropropagation methods,the highest shoot proliferation coefficient(5.4±0.2)was obtained with indirect somatic embryogenesis.Fortunately,the propagation ability of shoots remains high,even when culture propagation was continued for more than two years.Thus,a reliable system for plant regeneration from mature embryos derived from P.ostii’Fengdan’callus and two direct embryo culture systems have been established.The novel regeneration system could facilitate uniform seedling production.

Online Identification of Lithium-ion Battery Model Parameters with Initial Value Uncertainty and Measurement Noise

Online parameter identification is essential for the accuracy of the battery equivalent circuit model(ECM).The traditional recursive least squares(RLS)method is easily biased with the noise disturbances from sensors,which degrades the modeling accuracy in practice.Meanwhile,the recursive total least squares(RTLS)method can deal with the noise interferences,but the parameter slowly converges to the reference with initial value uncertainty.To alleviate the above issues,this paper proposes a co-estimation framework utilizing the advantages of RLS and RTLS for a higher parameter identification performance of the battery ECM.RLS converges quickly by updating the parameters along the gradient of the cost function.RTLS is applied to attenuate the noise effect once the parameters have converged.Both simulation and experimental results prove that the proposed method has good accuracy,a fast convergence rate,and also robustness against noise corruption.

Animal husbandry is a major source of greenhouse gas(GHG)emissions in agriculture.Mitigating the emissions from the livestock sector is vital for green development of agriculture in China.Based on National Communication on Climate Change of United Nations,this study aims to investigate the characteristics of GHG emissions of animal husbandry during 1994 to 2014,introduce major emission reduction technologies and their effectiveness,and investigate options for emission reduction for the livestock sector in China.It proposes that control of pollution and carbon emissions can be realized through increased animal productivity,improved feed quality and recycling of animal manure.This paper thus concludes with suggestions of green and lowcarbon development of animal husbandry,including the research and development of new technology for emission reduction and carbon sequestration of the livestock sector,enhancement of monitoring and evaluation,and establishment of emission reduction and carbon sequestration standards.

Utilization of surface differences to improve dyeing properties of poly（m-phenylene isophthalamide） membranes

Bulk poly-m-phenylene isophthalamide （PMIA） can achieve flexibility upon dissolution by a LiCI/dimethylacetamide co-solvent, but remains hydrophobic despite the occasional emergence of cis amide groups providing a weak negative charge. In this study, based on the significant surface differences between PMIA membranes processed by nanofiber electrospinning and casting, a series of chemical analyses, in-situ Au nanoparticle depositions, and dye-adsorption experiments revealed that more cisconfiguration amide groups appeared on the surface of the electrospun PMIA membrane than on that of the cast membrane. Based on this surface difference, a strategy was proposed to improve the dyeing properties of PMIA by reversibly changing the cisltrans configurations of electrospun and cast membranes. The reversible chain-segment switch mechanism is a novel method for tuning the macroscale properties of polymer materials based on inherent molecular characteristics.

Genetic diversity and relatedness analysis of nine wild species of tree peony based on simple sequence repeats markers

Tree peony has nine wild species,but the evolutionary relationship of them is still unclear.Here,a total of 274 specimens from 22 natural populations of nine wild species were collected,and their genetic diversity and similarity was analyzed based on Simple Sequence Repeats(SSR)molecular markers.A total of 106 alleles were generated based on 20 primers and with an average of 5.3 alleles per primer.Shannon’s information index(I)ranged from 0.6333 to 1.7842,and the average of Nei’s genetic diversity coefficient(H)was 0.5771.Polymorphism Information Content(PIC)value varied from 0.29 to 0.77,ten of these primers had high polymorphism(PIC≥0.50).All the above genetic parameters of primers reflect more rich genetic diversity information compared with other researches using SSR molecular markers to study the genetic diversity of tree peony wild species.At the population level,the lowest and highest degree of genetic diversity occurred in Paeonia ludlowii-P1 and P.delavayi-P3 population,respectively.Whereas at species level,the genetic diversity of 9 wild peony species was as follows:P.lutea>P.delavayi>P.rockii>P.qiui>P.ostii>P.decomposita>P.potaninii>P.spontanea>P.ludlowii.Furthermore,cluster analysis at species level divided the nine wild tree peony species into two branches.In branch I,the closest phylogenetic relationship was found between P.ostii and P.rockii,followed by P.spontanea,P.qiui,and P.decomposita.In branch II,the closest relationship occurred between P.lutea and P.delavayi,followed by P.potaninii and P.ludlowii.Clustering results supported the division of tree peonies into two subsects(Delavayanae and Vaginatae),it also supported P.potaninii and P.ludlowii as independent species.The results provided novel insight into the genetic diversity and phylogenetic relationship of nine wild tree peony species.It will help formulate comprehensive protection measures of wild germplasm resources and select proper parents for distant hybridization in the future.

Self-healing wearable self-powered deep ultraviolet photodetectors based on Ga_(2)O_(3)

Gallium oxide(Ga_(2)O_(3))based flexible heterojunction type deep ultraviolet(UV)photodetectors show excellent solar-blind photoelectric performance,even when not powered,which makes them ideal for use in intelligent wearable devices.How-ever,traditional flexible photodetectors are prone to damage during use due to poor toughness,which reduces the service life of these devices.Self-healing hydrogels have been demonstrated to have the ability to repair damage and their combination with Ga_(2)O_(3) could potentially improve the lifetime of the flexible photodetectors while maintaining their performance.Herein,a novel self-healing and self-powered flexible photodetector has been constructed onto the hydrogel substrate,which exhibits an excellent responsivity of 0.24 mA/W under 254 nm UV light at zero bias due to the built-in electric field originating from the PEDOT:PSS/Ga_(2)O_(3) heterojunction.The self-healing of the Ga_(2)O_(3) based photodetector was enabled by the reversible property of the synthesis of agarose and polyvinyl alcohol double network,which allows the photodetector to recover its original configu-ration and function after damage.After self-healing,the photocurrent of the photodetector decreases from 1.23 to 1.21μA,while the dark current rises from 0.95 to 0.97μA,with a barely unchanged of photoresponse speed.Such a remarkable recov-ery capability and the photodetector’s superior photoelectric performance not only significantly enhance a device lifespan but also present new possibilities to develop wearable and intelligent electronics in the future.
