Seeding is an important part of improving corn ***,seed guide tubes are mostly used as transport *** the existing seed guide tubes cannot meet the requirements or achieve the goal of fixing the seed falling trajectory.A seed collision phenomenon occurs ***,in response to the problems that the seeds and seed guide tube collide or bounce under high speed operation,which results in a lower sowing qualification rate and poor spacing uniformity,a seed receiving and conveying system comprising a belt-type high-speed corn seed guiding device was designed and optimized,to meet the needs of high-speed precision sowing operations and improve the spacing *** factors affecting the seed conveying performance were obtained by analyzing the mechanical properties of the seeds at various movement *** factors were the number of seed cavities between adjacent seeds,the forward speed,the height from the ground,and the installation *** factor simulation experiments were conducted by selecting the paddle spacing as the test factor and using the pass rate,reseeding rate,omission rate and coefficient of variation as the evaluation indexes to investigate the influence of the paddle spacing on the seed guide performance of the device and further determine the structural parameters of the paddle *** rotation combination tests of three factors and five levels were also conducted through bench *** the test outcomes were *** results indicated that the best results were obtained when the number of seed cavity intervals between adjacent seeds was 5.16,the installation angle was 79.40°,and the height from the ground was 31.84 *** this time,the qualified rate was 98.49%,the repeated sowing rate was 0.48%,the missed sowing rate was 1.03%,and the coefficient of variation was 6.80%.Experiments were used to validate the optimization results,and all of the obtained index data satisfied the criteria for accurate

Chinese forest musk deer(FMD),an endangered species,have exhibited low reproductive rates even in captivity due to stress *** revealed the presence of di(2-ethylhexyl)phthalate(DEHP),an environmental endocrine disruptor,in the serum and skin of captive *** FMDs with maslinic acid(MA)has been observed to alleviate the stress response and improve reproductive rates,although the precise molecular mechanisms remain ***,this study aims to investigate the molecular mechanisms underlying the alleviation of DEHP-induced oxidative stress and cell apoptosis in primary peritubular myoid cells(PMCs)through MA *** PMCs were isolated and exposed to DEHP in *** results demonstrated that DEHP significantly suppressed antioxidant levels and promoted cell apoptosis in primary ***,interfering with the expression of PRDX6 was found to induce excessive reactive oxygen species(ROS)production and cell apoptosis in primary *** with MA significantly upregulated the expression of PRDX6,thereby attenuating DEHP-induced oxidative stress and cell apoptosis in primary *** findings provide a theoretical foundation for mitigating stress levels and enhancing reproductive capacity of in captive FMDs.

The global COVID-19 pandemic has severely impacted human health and socioeconomic development,posing an enormous public health *** research has been conducted into the relationship between environmental factors and the transmission of ***,numerous factors influence the development of pandemic outbreaks,and the presence of confounding effects on the mechanism of action complicates the assessment of the role of environmental factors in the spread of *** estimation of the role of environmental factors without removing the confounding effects will be *** overcome this critical problem,we developed a Double Machine Learning(DML)causal model to estimate the debiased causal effects of the influencing factors in the COVID-19 outbreaks in Chinese *** experiments revealed that the traditional multiple linear regression model overestimated the impact of environmental *** factors are not the dominant cause of widespread outbreaks in China in *** addition,by further analyzing the causal effects of environmental factors,it was verified that there is significant heterogeneity in the role of environmental *** causal effect of environmental factors on COVID-19 changes with the regional *** is therefore recommended that when exploring the mechanisms by which environmental factors influence the spread of epidemics,confounding factors must be handled carefully in order to obtain clean quantitative *** study offers a more precise representation of the impact of environmental factors on the spread of the COVID-19 pandemic,as well as a framework for more accurately quantifying the factors influencing the outbreak.

Inhibition of protein degradation increases the Bt protein concentration in Bt cotton

Bacillus thuringiensis(Bt)cotton production is challenged by two main problems,i.e.,the low concentration of Bt protein at the boll setting stage and the lowest insect resistance in bolls among all the cotton plant’s ***,increasing the Bt protein concentration at the boll stage,especially in bolls,has become the main goal for increasing insect resistance in *** this study,two protein degradation inhibitors(ethylene diamine tetra acetic acid(EDTA)and leupeptin)were sprayed on the bolls,subtending leaves,and whole cotton plants at the peak flowering stage of two Bt cultivars(medium maturation Sikang 1(SK1))and early maturation Zhongmian 425(ZM425)in 2019 and *** Bt protein content and protein degradation metabolism were *** results showed that the Bt protein concentrations were enhanced by 21.3 to 38.8%and 25.0 to 38.6%in the treated bolls of SK1 and ZM425 respectively,while they were decreased in the subtending leaves of these treated *** the treated leaves,the Bt protein concentrations increased by 7.6 to 23.5%and 11.2 to 14.9%in SK1 and ZM425,*** combined application of EDTA and leupeptin to the whole cotton plant increased the Bt protein concentrations in both bolls and subtending *** Bt protein concentrations in bolls were higher,increasing by 22.5 to 31.0%and 19.6 to 32.5%for SK1 and ZM425,*** organs treated with EDTA or/and leupeptin showed reduced free amino acid contents,protease and peptidase activities and significant enhancements in soluble protein *** results indicated that inhibiting protein degradation could improve the protein content,thus increasing the Bt protein concentrations in the bolls or/and leaves of cotton ***,the increase in the Bt protein concentration without yield reduction suggested that these two protein degradation inhibitors may be applicable for improving insect resistance in cotton production.

The rheological properties of nanocellulose aqueous suspensions play a critical role in the development of nanocellulose-based bulk ***-crystalline,high-aspect ratio,and slender nanofibrillated cellulose(NFC)were extracted from four biomass *** cellulose nanofibrils and nanofibril bundles formed inter-connected networks in the NFC aqueous *** storage moduli of the suspensions with different concentrations were higher than their corresponding loss *** the concentration increased,the storage and loss modulus of NFC dispersion *** the shear rate increased to a certain value,there were differences in the changing trend of the rheological behavior of NFC aqueous suspensions derived from different biomass resources and the suspensions with different solid *** dispersion’s storage and loss modulus increased when the temperature rose to nearly 80℃.We hope this study can deepen the understanding of the rheological properties of NFC colloids derived from different biomass resources.

Research on returned samples can provide ground truth for the study of the geological evolution history of the ***,previous missions all collected samples from the near side of the Moon,which is significantly different from the far side of the Moon in terms of the thickness of the lunar crust,magma activity,and ***,the samples from the far side of the Moon are of great significance for a comprehensive understanding of the history of the ***’s Chang’e-6(CE-6)probe has successfully landed on the lunar far side and will return samples in the coming *** the precise location of the CE-6 landing site,a detailed analysis of the geological background is conducted in this *** landing site of CE-6 is within the Apollo crater,which is inside the largest impact basin on the Moon,i.e.,the South Pole-Aitken(SPA)*** to the numerical simulation of the formation process of the SPA basin,CE-6 landed at the edge of the SPA impact melting zone,which is presumably composed of impact melt of the lunar *** Apollo crater subsequently excavated deep material again,which constitutes the basement of the CE-6 landing ***,erupted basalt covered these basement rocks,and they also constitute the main source of the CE-6 *** on the dating method of crater size-frequency distribution,we find that the basalt is2.50 *** CE-6 samples also possibly contain basement rocks as excavated and ejected by craters,and they can provide crucial information for our understanding of lunar geological history along with the basalt samples.

IDEAL PLANT ARCHITECTURE1(IPA1)is a pivotal gene controlling plant architecture and grain ***,little is known about the effects of Triticum aestivum SQUAMOSA PROMOTER‐BINDING‐LIKE 14(TaSPL14),an IPA1 ortholog in wheat,on balancing yield traits and its regulatory mechanism in wheat(*** L.).Here,we determined that the *** GRAIN WIDTH2(TaGW2)‐TaSPL14 module influences the balance between tiller number and grain weight in *** of TaSPL14 resulted in a reduced tiller number and increased grain weight,whereas its knockout had the opposite effect,indicating that TaSPL14 negatively regulates tillering while positively regulating grain *** further identified TaGW2 as a novel interacting protein of TaSPL14 and confirmed its ability to mediate the ubiquitination and degradation of *** on our genetic evidence,TaGW2 acts as a positive regulator of tiller number,in addition to its known role as a negative regulator of grain weight,which is opposite to ***,combinations of TaSPL14‐7A and TaGW2‐6A haplotypes exhibit significantly additive effects on tiller number and grain weight in wheat *** findings provide insight into how the TaGW2‐TaSPL14 module regulates the trade‐off between tiller number and grain weight and its potential application in improving wheat yield.
