Potassium phosphatoantimonates, KSb2PO8 （KSbPO） and KSb2PO8-xny （KSbPOn）, are prepared by solidstate method. Urea is employed as a source of nitrogen for n-doping. Structural, morphological and optical properties of both KSbPO and KSbPOn are characterized by powder X-ray diffraction （PXRD）, scanning electron microscopy, energydispersive spectroscopy, Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy and UV-visible diffuse reflectance spectroscopy. Both samples are found to crystallize in a monoclinic lattice with Cc space group. The d-lines of KSbPO and KSbPOn are refined by least square fitting the PXRD data, using POWD software to obtain their unit cell parameters. The bandgap energy （Eg） of both pristine and n-doped KSbPO is found from their Kubelka-Munk plot. The KSbPOn/visible photocatalytic degradation of methylene blue and rhodamine B has been investigated in aqueous heterogeneous suspension. The generation of .OH in the presence of KSbPOn during the photoreaction is verified by a fluorescence technique using terephthalic acid （TA） as a probe.

One-neutron stripping process between^(6)Li and^(209)Bi was studied at 28,30,and 34 MeV using the in-beamγ-ray spectroscopy ***γ-γcoincident analysis clearly identified twoγ-rays feeding the ground and long-lived isomeric states,which were employed to determine the cross *** one-neutron stripping cross sections were similar to the cross sections of complete fusion in the^(6)Li+^(209)Bi system,but the one-neutron stripping cross sections decreased more gradually at the sub-barrier region.A coupled-reaction-ch.nnel calculation was performed to study the detailed reaction mech.nism of the one-neutron stripping process in^(6)*** calculations indicated that the first excited state of 5 Li is critical in the actual one-neutron transfer mech.nism,and the valence proton of 209Bi can be excited to the low-lying excited state in(^(6)Li,^(5)Li)reaction,unlike in the(d,p)reaction.

The objective of the Apollon 10 PW project is the generation of 10 PW peak power pulses of 15 fs at 1 shot min^(-1). In this paper a brief update on the current status of the Apollon project is presented, followed by a more detailed presentation of our experimental and theoretical investigations of the temporal characteristics of the laser. More specifically the design considerations as well as the technological and physical limitations to achieve the intended pulse duration and contrast are discussed.

The need for reducing the wear in mech.nical parts used in the industry makes self-lubricant films one of the sustainable solutions to achieve long-term protection under different environmental *** purpose of this work is to study the influence of C additions on the tribological behavior of a magnetron-sputtered Tin film in air,water,and *** results show that the addition of C into the Tin binary film induced a new amorphous phase,and the films exhibited a dual phase of fcc(face-centered cubic)-Tin and amorphous *** antifriction and wear-resistance properties were enhanced in air and water by adding 19.1at%***,a further increase in the C concentration improved anti-frictional properties but also led to higher wear *** the amorphous phase induced microbatteries and accelerated the corrosion of Tin phases in seawater,the negative abrasion state was detected for all Ti-C-n films due to the adhesion of the tribocorrosion debris on the wear track.

In this study,a microbial consortium isolated from an activated sludge tank of a conventional wastewater treatment plant was immobilized using sodium alginate(SA)as a support material for contaminant biodegradation in wastewater.A volume of 500 mL of activated sludge was immobilized in the SA beads(with a mass concentration of 25 g/L).The resulting SA beads were characterized,introduced into a fluidized bed reactor,fed with 1000 mL of the sample,and characterized again after the treatment *** SA-immobilized microorganisms were tested first for degradation of organic matter(expressed as chemical oxygen demand)and total phosphorous in domestic wastewater,achieving removal efficiencies of 71%and 93%,respectively,after 12 ***,the SA-immobilized microorganisms were tested for degradation of a basic blue 9(BB9)textile dye in a condition that simulated textile *** efficiency of the BB9 degradation was found to be as high as 99.5%after 2 *** to these results,SA-immobilized microorganisms were found to be an environmentally friendly and cost-effective alternative for treatment of municipal and industrial wastewater effluents.

We present recent investigations on the vector and axial-vector transitions of the baryon antidecuplet within the framework of the self-consistent SU（3） chiral quark-soliton model, taking into account the 1/no rotational and linear mscorrections. The main contribution to the electric-like transition form factor comes from the wave-function corrections. This is a consequence of the generalized Ademollo-Gatto theorem. It is also found that in general the leading-order contributions are almost canceled by the rotational 1/no corrections. The results are summarized as follows： the vector and tensor K＇nO coupling constants, gK＊n= 0.74--0.87 and fk＊n =0.53--1.16, respectively, and F→Kn = 0.71 MeV, based on the result of the Kn coupling constant gKne =0.83. We also show the differential cross sections and beam asymmetries, based on the present results. We also discuss the connection of present results with the original work by Diakonov, Petrov, and Polyakov.
