Black TiO_(2) nanoprobe-mediated mild phototherapy reduces intracellular lipid levels in atherosclerotic foam cells via cholesterol regulation pathways instead of apoptosis

Given that apoptosis increases the risk of plaque rupture, strategies that reduce intracellular lipid levels without killing foam cells are warranted for safe and effective treatment of atherosclerosis. In this study, a mild pho-totherapy strategy is carried out to achieve the hypothesis. Foam cell-targeted nanoprobes that allow photo-thermal therapy (PTT) and/or photodynamic therapy (PDT) were prepared by loading hyaluronan and porphine onto black TiO_(2) nanoparticles. The results showed that when temperatures below 45 ◦C, PTT alone and PTT +PDT significantly reduced the intracellular lipid burden without inducing evidently apoptosis or necrosis. In contrast, the use of PDT alone resulted in only a slight reduction in lipid levels and induced massive apoptosis or necrosis. The protective effect against apoptosis or necrosis after mild-temperature PTT and PTT + PDT was correlated with the upregulation of heat shock protein 27. Further, mild-temperature PTT and PTT + PDT attenuated intracellular cholesterol biosynthesis and excess cholesterol uptake via the SREBP2/LDLR pathway, and also triggered ABCA1-mediated cholesterol efflux, ultimately inhibiting lipid accumulation in foam cells. Our results offer new insights into the mechanism of lipid regulation in foam cells and indicate that the black TiO_(2) nanoprobes could allow safer and more effective phototherapy of atherosclerosis.

快速城镇化进程中乡村地域人地关系日益复杂,乡村面临整合有限资源实现产业转型发展的现实难题。论文从乡村地域系统“要素—结构—功能”转变的视角出发,对乡村产业重构的概念内涵与驱动力进行阐释,并以广西为例,根据主导产业的发展方向对乡村产业重构的典型模式进行划分,基于此构建乡村产业重构的保障机制。结论如下:(1)乡村产业重构可理解为基于当地发展条件与外部市场环境,整合劳动力、土地、资本等基本生产要素,通过产业培育、调整、升级与转型,优化空间布局,延伸产业链条,完善产业体系,以实现乡村产业内部良性均衡发展与对外产生输出价值的过程,具有主体多元化与业态多样化的特征。(2)在产业重构的具体实践中,乡村地域系统的外源驱动力与内生发展力相互作用,共同推动产业发展相关的各要素耦合协调。(3)乡村产业重构包括农业种养专业化模式、传统文化产业化模式、乡村旅游驱动型模式、工业制造业集聚型模式与商贸物流服务型模式等5种典型模式。(4)政策方面应重点破除体制机制壁垒,引导关键生产要素向乡村地区集中;优化产业结构,完善产业布局,构建现代乡村产业体系;完善利益联结机制,坚持农民主体地位不动摇。通过综合施策,以期为乡村产业重构实践提供机制保障,助力乡村产业振兴。

Rural restructuring in China： Theory, approaches and research prospect

Rural restructuring is a process of reshaping socio-economic morphology and spatial pattern in rural territory in response to the changes of elements both in kernel system and external system of rural development, by optimally allocating and efficiently managing the material and non-material elements in the two systems. It aims at ultimately optimizing the structure and promoting the function within rural territorial system as well as realizing the coordination of structure and complementation of function between urban and rural territorial system. This paper establishes a theoretical framework of rural restructuring through elabo- rating the concept and connotations as well as analyzing the mechanism pushing forward rural restructuring based on the evolution of ＂elements-structure-function＂, and probes the approaches from the three aspects of spatial restructuring, economic restructuring and social restructuring. Besides, the authors argue that the study of rural restructuring in China in the future needs to focus on the aspects of long-term and multi-scale process and pattern, mechanism, regional models, rural planning technology system and standard, policy and institutional innovations concerning rural restructuring as well as the impacts of globalization on rural restructuring, in order to serve the current national strategic demands and cope with the changes of rural development elements in the process of urban-rural development transformation.

Rural vitalization in China:A perspective of land consolidation

The core objective of rural vitalization is to systemically establish a coupling pattern of various rural development elements including population,land and industry.As one of the prerequisites,land resources is required to be optimally allocated via land consolidation.Con seque ntly,la nd con solidati on con tributes greatly to population agglomeration,industrial developme nt and resources support under the con text of combati ng rural decline.Based on the key eleme nts affecting rural development,this paper elaborates the con no tation of rural vitalization and land consolidation in the new era as well as their relationships.Furthermore,the paper analyzes the alternative paths for achieving rural vitalization via land consolidation,and discusses the future directions of land consolidation and rural vitalization.The conclusions are drawn as follows:(1)To cope with the loss and decline of the intrinsic elements in rural areas,rural vitalization is a development strategy aimed at realizing economic,political,cultural and ecological rejuvenation in rural area by reshaping socio?economic morphology and spatial pattern in rural territory.(2)From the perspective of rural vitalization,land consolidation is endowed with new connotation,which should not only target at activating the key elements of rural development,but also place emphasis on coordimating material space and spirit core as well as integrating the restructuring of the physical space and the rural gov?ernance system.(3)Land consolidation should be compatible with regional natural conditions and the current stage of socio-economic development.According to the principle of regional planning and classification strategy,the appropriate models and paths should be adopted to promote the benign interactions of population,land and industry based on engineering techniques and ecological means.(4)Under the background of national strategy of rural vitaliza?tion,it is n ecessary to reshape the value orientati on of la nd con solidation based on a scie tific understandi

With the introduction of the concept of land use transition into China,related researches have been carried out extensively in the past two decades,which enrich the knowledge of land system science.This paper describes the development of research on land use transitions in China from the perspectives of conceptual connotations,theoretical model,research methods,and research progress and prospects.With the in-depth investigation of land use transitions,the concept and connotations of land use morphology are developed and encapsulated as two kinds,i.e.,dominant morphology and recessive morphology.The dominant morphology refers to the land use structure of a certain region over a certain period of time,with features such as the quantity and spatial pattern of land use types.While the recessive morphology includes the land use features in the aspects of quality,property rights,management mode,input,output and function.Accordingly,the concept of land use transition is further developed,and the theoretical model of regional land use transitions is established.Thereafter,three innovative integrated approaches to study land use transitions are put forward,i.e.,multidisciplinary research framework for recessive land use transition,transect and horizontal comparison.To date,there have been 62 Ph.D.and 166 M.S.dissertations on the topic of"land use transition"in China.During 2002–2019,the National Natural Science Foundation of China has funded 48 research programs on the theme of"land use transition".As such,the Chinese scholars have adapted the concept derived from western literature to the situations and experiences in China.

In this paper,we use microwave reduction strategy to synthesize a new bi-functional sulfur host material at the service of cathode substrate for lithium-sulfur batteries(LSBs),the composite is made of hierarchical porous carbon foam supported carbon-encapsulated chromium carbide nano-particles(Cr_(3)C_(2)@C/HPCF),in which the well-distributed conductive Cr_(3)C_(2) nano-particles can act as powerful chemical adsorbent and are effective in restraining the shuttle effect of lithium polysulfides(LiPSs).Test results show that the Cr_(3)C_(2)@C/HPCF based sulfur electrodes with 75 wt.%of sulfur exhibit a high initial discharging capacity of 1,321.1 mAh·g^(−1) at 0.1 C(3.5 mg·cm^(−2)),and a reversible capacity can still maintain stability at 1,002.1 mAh·g^(−1) after 150 cycles.Even increasing the areal sulfur loading to 4 mg·cm^(−2),the electrodes can still deliver an initial discharging capacity of 948.0 mAh·g^(−1) at 0.5 C with ultra-slow capacity decay rate of 0.075%per cycle during 500 cycles.Furthermore,the adsorption energy between the Cr_(3)C_(2) surface and LiPSs as well as theoretic analysis based on first-principles is also investigated.

农作物生产结构与布局是农业地理学探讨的传统研究主题,开展农作物生产格局演变特征与机制研究,可为区域农业生产要素的优化配置提供参考依据。论文运用区位基尼系数、重心移动模型、比较优势指数等方法,揭示1995—2019年广西粮食、糖料、水果和蔬菜4类主要农作物生产格局的演变特征,剖析其形成机制,据此提出相关优化建议。结果表明:粮食作物“退”、糖果菜“进”构成主要农作物竞争的基本态势;粮食、蔬菜生产空间分布相对分散,糖料生产地理集聚趋势明显,水果生产由相对集中走向分散;主要农作物综合比较优势受规模比较优势主导,粮食生产劣势明显,糖料生产具有绝对规模比较优势和综合比较优势,水果、蔬菜生产规模比较优势突出但效率比较优势有待提升。资源禀赋的约束、市场供需和比较效益的主导、乡村社会发展要素变化的诱发、制度环境的引导/修正、集聚经济的循环累积等多种力量综合作用推动农作物生产格局的演变。特殊的区情决定了广西农作物生产应统筹经济功能、社会功能和生态功能,通过结构调整、产业集聚、空间优化,推进农作物生产从规模扩张向综合效益提升转型。

“一带一路”倡议对我国沿线重点省份入境旅游效率的影响

基于2008-2019年的省际面板数据,采用全局超效率SBM模型和双重差分模型,探讨了“一带一路”倡议对我国沿线重点省份入境旅游效率的影响。研究发现:①倡议提出后,沿线重点省份的入境旅游产业综合效率、纯技术效率和规模效率均呈现出上升趋势。其中,入境旅游产业规模效率长期保持较高水平,而纯技术效率水平较低导致入境旅游产业综合效率增长乏力。②“一带一路”倡议对于沿线重点省份入境旅游效率具有显著提升作用,该结论通过了稳健性检验。③“一带一路”倡议对沿线重点省份入境旅游效率的影响主要是通过宏观调控来实现的。沿线重点省份的政府部门通过宏观调控加大旅游行业投资,促进资源要素的集聚,实现入境旅游效率的提升。④“一带一路”倡议对沿线重点省份入境旅游效率的影响具有区域异质性,具体表现为对东部地区沿线重点省份的入境旅游规模效率、西部地区沿线重点省份的入境旅游综合效率与规模效率有显著促进作用,而对东北地区沿线重点省份的效率没有显著影响。文章提出如下建议:通过技术效率提升实现入境旅游产业优质发展;促进多方政策形成合力以优化入境旅游发展环境;进一步优化市场环境与扩大对外开放;政策制定充分考虑区域异质性的问题;各省发掘地方优势共同参与“一带一路”建设。
