The post-earthquake emergency period,which is a sensitive time segment just after an event,mainly focuses on saving life and restoring social *** improve the seismic resilience of city road networks,a resilience evaluation method used in the post-earthquake emergency period is *** road seismic damage index of a city road network can consider the influence of roads,bridges and buildings along the roads,*** road capacity after an earthquake.A function index for a city road network is developed,which reflects the connectivity,redundancy,traffic demand and traffic function of the *** optimization model for improving the road repair order in the post-earthquake emergency period is also developed according to the resilience evaluation,to enable decision support for city emergency management and achieve the best seismic resilience of the city road *** optimization model is applied to a city road network and the results illustrate the feasibility of the resilience evaluation and optimization method for a city road network in the post-earthquake emergency period.

Working as aerial base stations,mobile robotic agents can be formed as a wireless robotic network to provide network services for on-ground mobile devices in a target ***,a challenging issue is how to deploy these mobile robotic agents to provide network services with good quality for more users,while considering the mobility of on-ground *** this paper,to solve this issue,we decouple the coverage problem into the vertical dimension and the horizontal dimension without any loss of optimization and introduce the network coverage model with maximum coverage ***,we propose a hybrid deployment algorithm based on the improved quick artificial bee *** algorithm is composed of a centralized deployment algorithm and a distributed *** proposed deployment algorithm deploy a given number of mobile robotic agents to provide network services for the on-ground devices that are independent and identically *** results have demonstrated that the proposed algorithm deploys agents appropriately to cover more ground area and provide better coverage uniformity.

Despite the considerable advancements in chemotherapy as a cornerstone modality in cancer treatment,the prevalence of complications and pre-existing diseases is on the rise among cancer patients along with prolonged survival and aging *** relationships between these disorders and cancer are intricate,bearing significant influence on the survival and quality of life of individuals with cancer and presenting challenges for the prognosis and outcomes of ***,we review the prevailing complications and comorbidities that often accompany chemotherapy and summarize the lessons to learn from inadequate research and management of this scenario,with an emphasis on possible strategies for reducing potential complications and alleviating comorbidities,as well as an overview of current preclinical cancer models and practical advice for establishing bio-faithful preclinical models in such complex context.

The electrochemical reduction of nitrate to ammonia(ENRA)provides an efficient approach to remove nitrate pollution and achieve ammonia production ***,inspired by bio-enzyme in denitrifying bacteria,a carbon-coated nickel phosphide(NiPC)nanosheet derived from metal-organic frameworks(MOFs)is proposed as an efficient catalyst for *** electron engineering,controllable Ni^(δ+)in nickel phosphide is achieved by regulating the degree of phosphating,which enhances its activity for the hydrogenation of *** the result,Niδ+becomes one of dominating factors determining the efficiency of the ENRA reaction in nickel *** optimal NiPC catalyst exhibits impressive property toward ENRA:NH_(4)^(+)Faraday efficiency of 96.68%,NH4+selectivity of 99.04%,and nitrate conversion rate of 90.43%under low nitrate concentration(200 mg·L^(−1)).This work opens a new avenue for the design of next-generation catalysts through electron engineering for ENRA.

in high-altitude nuclear detonations,the proportion of pulsed X-ray energy can exceed 70%,making it a specific monitoring signal for such *** pulsed X-rays can be captured using a satellite-borne X-ray detector following atmospheric *** quantitatively analyze the effects of different satellite detection altitudes,burst heights,and transmission angles on the physical processes of X-ray transport and energy fluence,we developed an atmospheric transmission algorithm for pulsed X-rays from high-altitude nuclear detonations based on scattering *** proposed method is an improvement over the traditional analytical method that only computes direct-transmission *** traditional analytical method exhibits a maximum relative error of 67.79% compared with the Monte Carlo *** improved method reduces this error to within 10% under the same conditions,even reaching 1% in certain ***,its computation time is 48,000 times faster than that of the Monte Carlo *** results have important theoretical significance and engineering application value for designing satellite-borne nuclear detonation pulsed X-ray detectors,inverting nuclear detonation source terms,and assessing ionospheric effects.

Mg alloy seamless tubes(MASTs)were prepared through three-high rotary piercing process,effect of billet temperature,feed angle and plug advance on microstructure,texture and mechanical properties of tubes were *** effect on the deformation mechanism and improving mechanical properties mechanism of this process for MASTs were *** results show that the grain size could be refined to 11.3-31.1%of the initial grain size and the microstructure was more uniform due to the accumulation of *** formation of high strain gradient at the grain boundary activated the non-basal *** piercing process could change the grain orientation of as-extruded billet and eliminate the initial basal texture to produce new favorable *** the process could accelerate the continuous dynamic recrystallization *** piercing,yield strength of pierced tubes decreased by 6.7%,ultimate tensile strength(UTS)and elongation increased by 32.4 and 45%,respectively,at optimal *** plate-shapedβ_(1)-Mg_(17)Al_(12) orientation transformed from basal plates to prismatic plates,facilitating the increase in UTS and *** decrease size of nanoscale precipitates could reduce the cracking *** critical resolved shear stress ratios of pyramidal(10−11)slip and(11−22)slip to basal slip for the sample including prismatic plates both decreased compared to that including basal *** could enhance the ductility of tube ***,grain boundary sliding could contribute to a better ductility via coordinating deformation and reducing stress concentration during piercing process.

The interfacial characteristics of the li metal anode(LMA)play a crucial role in its overall *** various materials being applied to modify the interface,a comprehensive understanding of their specific mechanisms remains to be ***,we have prepared carbon cloth(CC)frameworks with their surfaces modified using ferromagnetic metal/liF heterogeneous films(T^(M)-liF-CC)as the substrate for LMA,which exhibit superior electrochemical *** ferromagnetic Co as a representative example,our study demonstrates that the enhanced performance of Co-liF-CC,compared to bare CC,is attributed to the spinpolarized interface contributed by the Co/liF *** and liF play individual roles in redistributing electrons and li^(+)to promote homogeneous li *** nanoparticles play a crucial role in generating strong surface capacitance by storing electrons in spin-split bands,while liF,with low surface diffusion barriers,ensures fast transportation of li^(+).The Co-liF-CC@li electrodes deliver long lives of 7400 and 3600 h at 1 and 2 mA·cm^(-2)in symmetric cells,respectively;moreover,they enable full batteries with high and durable capacities,particularly when the N/P ratios are low(3.3 or even 1.7).
