Maximizing the development of renewable energy plays a critical role in mitigating the climate *** land provides space for the development of biomass energy;however,it remains unclear how the amount and spatial distribution of marginal land that is suitable for energy crop development will change in the ***,we project energy marginal land changes in China following the shared socioeconomic pathway(SSP)and/or repre-sentative concentration path(RCP).We provide datasets of mar-ginal land,agriculturally suitable land,and potentially suitable for energy crops under historical scenarios and six future scenarios(***1-1.9,SSP1-2.6,SSP4-3.4,SSP2-4.5,SSP4-6.0,and SSP3-7.0)for the period 2020-2100,with a spatial resolution of 5 *** the six scenarios,from 2020-2100,the area of suitable marginal land ranged from 1.90-16.28(Jatropha curcas L.)to 37.37-73.97(Panicum virgatum L.)(×10^(4)km^(2)),depending on the choice of energy crops and climate *** on the growing suitability of eight important bioenergy crops-Ricinus communis L.,Saccharum officinarum L.,Pistacia chinensis Bunge,Panicum virga-tum L.,Jatropha curcas L.,Miscanthus giganteus J.,Manihot esculenta Crantz,and Sorghum bicolor Moench-our dataset can be used to identify suitable locations for specific energy *** new syn-thetic dataset could support the development of multiscenariobased solutions related to carbon neutrality,ecosystem services,and energy transition.

Dear editor,Switched positive systems exist in many applications [1,2].Their stability differs from that of standard switched *** main difference is that the state variables are confined to the positive *** results have been derived from previous studies on switched positive systems(see[1,2] and references therein).However,to the best of our knowledge,few studies have focused on the stabilization of switched positive systems with only unstable subsystems by designing a dwell-time switching *** is the motivation of this *** study presents exponential stabilization results for switched positive linear systems by utilizing multiple time-varying Lyapunov functions and dwell-time switching techniques.

THE INFLUENCES OF SSTA OVER KUROSHIO AND ITS EXTENSION ON RAINFALL IN NORTHEAST CHINA UNDER THE BACKGROUND OF TWO DIFFERENT EL NIO CASES

By using the gauged rainfall in 160 stations within China's Mainland and the NCEP/NCAR reanalysis data, the impacts of anomalous SST in Kuroshio and its extension on precipitation in Northeast China were investigated. The results show that a difference in the meridional circulation such as the East Asia/Pacific teleconnection pattern(EAP)may be responsible for the difference in rainfall between 1998 and 2010. In comparison with 1998, the anomalous meridional circulation pattern in 2010 shifted northeastward, and then the western subtropical high, the mid-latitudinal trough and the northeastern Asia blocking high also shifted northeastward, causing intensified convergence of the cold and warm air masses at the southern region and thus more rainfall in the southwestern region and less in the northwestern region. In 1998, the anomalous cyclone, one component of the meridional pattern, located at the Songhuajiang-Nengjiang River basin, resulted in more rainfall in the majority of the area. The results of observation and the model show that the difference in SSTA in Kuroshio and its extension under the background of different El Ni觡o events is the key point:(1) The anomalous warmth moved westward from the mid-Pacific to the east of the Philippine Sea during the central event, which led the heat resources shifting to the northeast in 2010; subsequently, a shift occurred to the north of the anomalous ascent and decent, followed by a warm SSTA in the region of Kuroshio's extension in 2010 and Kuroshio in 1998.(2) The warm SSTA in the Kuroshio extension causing the Rossby wave activity flux strengthened in 2010, and then the westerly jet shifted northward and extended eastward. A warm SSTA in Kuroshio and cold SSTA in its extension in 1998 caused the westerly jet to shift southward and weaken. As a result,the anomalous anticyclone and cyclone shifted northward in 2010, and the blocking high also shifted northward.

The molecular structures of ground state and first single excited state for pyrazoline derivatives are optimized with DFT B3LYP method and ab initio “configuration interaction with single excitations”（CIS） method, respectively. The frontier molecular orbital characteristics have been analyzed systematically, and the electronic transition mechanism has been discussed. Electronic spectra are calculated by using TD-DFT method. These results are consistent with those from the experiment.

Background： Over the years, the mechanical ventilation （MV） strategy has changed worldwide. The aim of the present study was to describe the ventilation practices, particularly lung-protective ventilation （LPV）, among brain-injured patients in China. Methods： This study was a multicenter, 1-day, cross-sectional study in 47 Intensive Care Units （ICUs） across China. Mechanically ventilated patients （18 years and older） with brain injury in a participating ICU during the time of the study, including traumatic brain injury, stroke, postoperation with intracranial tumor, hypoxic-ischemic encephalopathy, intracranial infection, and idiopathic epilepsy, were enrolled. Demographic data, primary diagnoses, indications for MV, MV modes and settings, and prognoses on the 60th day were collected. Multivariable logistic analysis was used to assess factors that might affect the use of LPV. Results： A total of 104 patients were enrolled in the present study, 87 （83.7%） of whom were identified with severe brain injury based on a Glasgow Coma Scale 〈8 points. Synchronized intermittent mandatory ventilation （SIMV） was the most frequent ventilator mode, accounting for 46.2% of the entire cohort. The median tidal volume was set to 8.0 ml/kg （interquartile range [IQR], 7.0-8.9 ml/kg） of the predicted body weight; 50 （48.1%） patients received LPV. The median positive end-expiratory pressure （PEEP） was set to 5 cmH20 （IQR, 5-5 cmH20）. No PEEP values were higher than 10 cmH20. Compared with partially mandatory ventilation, supportive and spontaneous ventilation practices were associated with LPV. There were no significant differences in mortality and MV duration between patients subjected to LPV and those were not. Conclusions： Among brain-injured patients in China, SIMV was the most frequent ventilation mode. Nearly one-half of the brain-injured patients received LPV. Patients under supportive and spontaneous ventilation were more likely to receive LPV.

Sourdough starters for making traditional steamed bread are rich in *** have shown that,in addition to yeast and lactic acid bacteria(LAB),acetic acid bacteria(AAB)are other functional species in sourdough,but the influences of AAB on the properties of sourdough and steamed bread were rarely *** study aimed to assess the effects of a selected strain of acetic acid bacterium on the properties of sourdough and steamed *** and steamed breads were prepared from five different starter cultures,marked as CK(control check,with no starters),Y(only yeast),YL(yeast+LAB),YA(yeast+AAB)and YLA(yeast+LAB+AAB),and their properties were *** results of sour dough properties showed that the YLA sourdough had the highest total titratable acid of 14.6 mL and the lowest pH of 3.87 compared with the other groups after fermentation to 8 h;and the YLA sourdough had the greatest elasticity and *** results of quality properties of steamed bread revealed that the L*value(88.40±0.09)of the YA steamed bread was significantly higher than those of the YLA and YL steamed breads;the YLA steamed bread had the highest specific volume and the highest sensory score of 89.6±3.31 in comparison to those of the other groups;the hardness and chewiness of YLA and YA steamed breads were significantly lower than those of the other *** compounds in the steamed breads were also determined by SPME-GC-MS.A total of 42 flavor substances were detected,including 3 kinds of alcohols,8 kinds of aldehydes,7 kinds of ketones,2 kinds of acids,15 kinds of esters,1 furan,and 6 kinds of other types of compounds,mainly alkanes and esters,followed by alcohols and *** YLA steamed bread was richer in esters,aldehydes,and acids than those from the other treatment *** contrast,alkanes and aldehydes were dominant in the Y and YL steamed ***,the flavor and quality of the steamed bread made from the YLA sourdough could be improved obviou
