Aqueous electrochromic battery(ECB)has shown intense potential for achieving energy storage and saving *** tungsten oxide(wO_(3))is the most promising EC material for commercialization,the cycling stability of wO_(3)-based aqueous ECBs is currently unsatisfactory due to the repeated phase transition during the redox process and the corrosion by acidic ***,we present a titanium-tungsten oxide alloy(Ti-wO_(3))with controllable morphology and crystal phase synthesized by a facile hot injection method to overcome the *** contrast to conventional monoclinic wO_(3),the Ti-wO_(3)nanorods can stably maintain their cubic crystal phase during the redox reaction in an acidic electrolyte,thus leading to dramatically enhanced response speed and cycling stability,Specifically,when working in a well-matched hybrid Al^(3+)/Zn^(2+)aqueous electrolyte,our phasetransition-free cubic Ti-wO_(3)exhibits an ultra-high cycling stability(>20000 cycles),fast response speed(3,95 s/4,65 s for bleaching/coloring),as well as excellent discharge areal capacity of 214.5 mA h m^(-2),we further fabricate a fully complementa ry aqueous electrochromic device,for the first time,using a Ti-wO_(3)/Prussian blue device ***,the complementary ECB shows>10000 stable operation cycles,attesting to the feasibility of our Ti-wO_(3)for practical *** work validates the significance of inhibiting the phase transitions of wO_(3)during the electrochromic process for realizing highly cyclable aqueous ECB,which can possibly provide a generalized design guidance for other high-quality metallic oxides for electrochemical applications.

An effective strategy of constructing multi-metallic oxides of ZnO/ CoNiO_(2)/CoO/C microflowers for improved supercapacitive performance

In this work,a new ZnO/CoNiO_(2)/CoO/C metal oxides composite is prepared by cost-effective hydrothermal method coupled with annealing process under N_(2) ***,the oxidation-defect annealing environment is conducive to both morphology and component of the composite,which flower-like ZnO/CoNiO_(2)/CoO/C is *** from good chemical stability of ZnO,high energy capacity of CoNiO_(2) and CoO and good conductivity of C,the as-prepared sample shows promising electrochemical behavior,including the specific capacity of 1435 C·g^(-1) at 1 A·g^(-1),capacity retention of 87.3%at 20 A·g^(-1),and cycling stability of 90.5%for 3000 cycles at 5 A·g^(-1),***,the prepared ZnO/CoNiO_(2)/CoO/C/NF//AC aqueous hybrid supercapacitors device delivers the best specific energy of 55.9 w·h·kg^(-1) at 850 w·kg^(-1).The results reflect that the as-prepared ZnO/CoNiO_(2)/CoO/C microflowers are considered as high performance electrode materials for supercapacitor,and the strategy mentioned in this paper is benefit to prepare mixed metal oxides composite for energy conversion and storage.

Constructing controllable thermal conduction networks is the key to efficiently improve thermal conductivities of polymer *** this work,graphite oxide(GO)and functionalized carbon nanotubes(f-CNTs)are combined to prepare“Line-Plane”-like hetero-structured thermally conductive GO@f-CNTs fillers,which are then performed to construct controllable 3D GO@f-CNTs thermal conduction networks via selfsacrificing template method based on oxalic ***,thermally conductive GO@f-CNTs/polydimethylsiloxane(PDMS)composites are fabricated via casting *** the size of oxalic acid is 0.24 mm and the volume fraction of GO@f-CNTs is 60 vol%,GO@f-CNTs/PDMS composites present the optimal thermal conductivity coefficient(λ,4.00 w·m^(-1)·K^(-1)),about 20 times that of theλof neat PDMS(0.20 w·m^(-1)·K^(-1)),also much higher than theλ(2.44 w·m^(-1)·K^(-1))of GO/f-CNTs/PDMS composites with the same amount of randomly dispersed ***,the obtained GO@f-CNTs/PDMS composites have excellent thermal stability,whoseλdeviation is only about 3%after 500 thermal cycles(20-200℃).

Stigma color is a critical agronomic trait in watermelon that plays an important role in ***,there are few reports on the regulation of stigma color in *** this study,a genetic analysis of the F2 population derived from ZXG1553(P1,with orange stigma)and w1-17(P2,with yellow stigma)indicated that stigma color is a quantitative trait and the orange stigma is recessive compared with the yellow *** segregant analysis sequencing(BSA-seq)revealed a 3.75 Mb segment on chromosome 6 that is related to stigma ***,a major stable effective QTL Clqsc6.1(QTL stigma color)was detected in two years between cleaved amplified polymorphic sequencing(CAPS)markers Chr06_8338913 and Chr06_9344593 spanning a~1.01 Mb interval that harbors 51 annotated ***97C06G117020(annotated as zinc finger protein CONSTANS-LIKE 4)was identified as the best candidate gene for the stigma color trait through RNA-seq,quantitative real-time PCR(qRT-PCR),and gene structure alignment analysis among the natural watermelon *** expression level of Cla97C06G117020 in the orange stigma accession was lower than in the yellow stigma accessions with a significant difference.A nonsynonymous SNP site of the Cla97C06G117020 coding region that causes amino acid variation was related to the stigma color variation among nine watermelon accessions according to their re-sequencing *** color formation is often related to carotenoids,and we also found that the expression trend of ClCHYB(annotated asβ-carotene hydroxylase)in the carotenoid metabolic pathway was consistent with Cla97C06G117020,and it was expressed in low amounts in the orange stigma *** data indicated that Cla97C06G117020 and ClCHYB may interact to form the stigma *** study provides a theoretical basis for gene fine mapping and mechanisms for the regulation of stigma color in watermelon.

Recently,it has been realized that in some systems internal space rotation can induce energy amplification for scattered waves,similar to rotation in real *** particularly,it has been shown that energy extraction is possible for a Q-ball,a stationary non-topological soliton that is coherently rotating in its field *** this paper,we generalize the analysis to the case of boson stars,and show that the same energy extraction mechanism still works for boson stars.

Microstructure,elastic/mechanical and thermal properties of CrTaO_(4):A new thermal barrier material?

CrTaO_(4)(or Cr_(0.5)Ta_(0.5)O_(2))has been unexpectedly found to play a decisive role in improving the oxidation resistance of Cr and Ta-containing refractory high-entropy alloys(RHEAs).This rarely encountered complex oxide can effectively prevent the outward diffusion of metal cations from the ***,the oxidation kinetics of CrTaO_(4)-forming RHEAs is comparable to that of the well-known oxidation resistant Cr_(2)O_(3)-and Al_(2)O_(3)-forming Ni-based ***,CrTaO_(4)has been ignored and its mechanical and thermal properties have yet to be *** fill this research gap and explore the untapped potential for its applications,here we report for the first time the microstructure,mechanical and thermal properties of CrTaO_(4)prepared by hot-press sintering of solid-state reaction synthesized *** the HAADF and ABF-STEM techniques,rutile crystal structure was confirmed and short range ordering was directly *** addition,segregation of Ta and Cr was ***,CrTaO_(4)exhibits elastic/mechanical properties similar to those of yttria stabilized zirconia(YSZ)with Young’s modulus,shear modulus,and bulk modulus of 268,107,and 181 GPa,respectively,and Vickers hardness,flexural strength,and fracture toughness of 12.2±0.44 GPa,142±14 MPa,and 1.87±0.074 MPa·m^(1/2).The analogous elastic/mechanical properties of CrTaO_(4)to those of YSZ has spurred inquiries to lucrative leverage it as a new thermal barrier *** measured melting point of CrTaO_(4)is 2103±20 *** anisotropic thermal expansion coefficients areα_(a)=(5.68±0.10)×10^(-6)K^(-1),α_(c)=(7.81±0.11)×10^(-6)K^(-1),with an average thermal expansion coefficient of(6.39±0.11)×10^(-6)K^(-1).The room temperature thermal conductivity of CrTaO_(4)is 1.31 w·m^(-1)·K^(-1)and declines to 0.66 w·m^(-1)·K^(-1)at 1473 K,which are lower than most of the currently well-known thermal barrier *** the perspective of matched thermal expansion coefficient,CrTaO_(4)per

Membrane-based separation is a promising technology to eliminate water impurities from the oil ***,it remains a great challenge to separate water from highly emulsified viscous oil ow.ng to the high stability of the water droplets in *** we report a surface wettability engineering on an alumina ceramic membrane to achieve an efficient separation of a water-in-oil(w/O)*** with different carbon chain lengths and fluorinated status were introduced to endow the alumina membrane with different surface *** all the modified membranes exhibited excellent separation of the w/O without Span 80(surfactant),the one with amphiphobic wettability and lowest surface energy failed to separate the Span 80 stabilized w/*** presence of Span 80 reduced the interfacial tension of water droplets,making them easier to deform and penetrate the modified membrane with the lowest surface *** reveals that engineering proper surface wettability is the key to separating the oil and water ***,the modified membranes maintained decent separation performance and stability under long-term run separation of the emulsified w/O.

Constructing a 3D multichannel structure to enhance performance of Ni–Co–Mn hydroxide electrodes for flexible supercapacitors

The balancing of the electrochemical performance,mechanical stability,and processing technology for applying supercapacitors to flexible and wearable electronics continues to encounter severe ***,we prepare Ni-Co-Mn hydroxide electrodes with a threedimensional multichannel structure via a simple hydrothermal *** are constructed using vertically contiguous nano sheets with a uniform thickness and rough *** electrodes can provide numerous electroactive sites and accelerate the transmission of electrolyte *** relationship between the structure and electrochemical performances is verified by experiments and theoretical ***-dimensional(2D)planar and one-dimensional(1D)fiber electrodes are prepared using a flexible carbon cloth(CC)and carbon fiber(CF),respectively,as *** assembled quasi-solid-state flexible asymmetric supercapacitor(FASC)with a twodimensional sandwich structure using NiCoMn-OH/CC as the electrode achieves a remarkable energy density of73.8 wh·kg^(-1)at a power density of 1.03 kw·kg^(-1).The quasi-solid-state FASC with a 1D linear structure using NiCoMn-OH/CF as the electrode also attains a high energy density(12.9 wh·kg^(-1)at a power density of0.75 w·kg^(-1)).Moreover,the electrochemical performances of the NiCoMn/CC//AC/CC and NiCoMn/CF//AC/CF FASCs are not disturbed at different bending angles(0°,45°,90°,135°and 180°),This indicates the superior flexibility of the *** also assemble a self-powered energy-harvesting storage system by integrating FASCs and commercial solar cells to verify its *** displays sustainable development potential for energy storage.

Edaravone-loaded poly(amino acid) nanogel inhibits ferroptosis for neuroprotection in cerebral ischemia injury

Neurological injury caused by ischemic stroke is a major cause of permanent disability and death. The currently available neuroprotective drugs fail to achieve desired therapeutic efficacy mainly due to short circulation half-life and poor blood−brain barrier (BBB) permeability. For that, an edaravone-loaded pH/glutathione (pH/GSH) dual-responsive poly(amino acid) nanogel (ng/EDA) was developed to improve the neuroprotection of EDA. The nanogel was triggered by acidic and EDA-induced high-level GSH microenvironments, which enabled the selective and sustained release of EDA at the site of ischemic injury. ng/EDA exhibited a uniform sub-spherical morphology with a mean hydrodynamic diameter of 112.3 ± 8.2 nm. ng/EDA efficiently accumulated at the cerebral ischemic injury site of permanent middle cerebral artery occlusion (pMCAO) mice, show.ng an efficient BBB crossing feature. Notably, ng/EDA with 50 µM EDA significantly increased neuron survival (29.3%) follow.ng oxygen and glucose deprivation by inhibiting ferroptosis. In addition, administering ng/EDA for 7 d significantly reduced infarct volume to 22.2% ± 7.2% and decreased neurobehavioral scores from 9.0 ± 0.6 to 2.0 ± 0.8. Such a pH/GSH dual-responsive nanoplatform might provide a unique and promising modality for neuroprotection in ischemic stroke and other central nervous system diseases.

低雷诺数下翼型非线性气动特性及其模型预测

以GA(w)-1翼型为研究对象,通过数值模拟的方法探究了雷诺数对翼型气动特性的影响规律及物理机制,结果显示:翼型在低雷诺数工况下具有突变性、迟滞性等强烈的非线性气动特性,且迟滞环的尺寸随着雷诺数的增大而逐渐减小直到最终消失,翼型前缘分离泡的破碎及该过程的不可逆性是非线性气动特性产生的物理根源。翼型在不同雷诺数工况下的非线性气动特性与尖点突变模型在空间拓扑上具有相似性,于是基于拓扑不变原理,通过发展高精度的拓扑映射方法,构建了尖点突变模型的平衡曲面与翼型非线性气动特性之间的拓扑映射关系,从而利用尖点突变模型的平衡曲面去预测低雷诺数下翼型的非线性气动特性,模型预测误差在5%以内。
