The simplicity and interpretability of decision tree induction makes it one of the more widely used machine learning methods for data ***,for continuous valued(real and integer) attribute data,there is room for further improvement in classification accuracy,complexity,and tree *** propose a new K-ary partition discretization method with no more than K –1 cut points based on Gaussian membership functions and the expected class number.A new K-ary crisp decision tree induction is also proposed for continuous valued attributes with a Gini index,combining the proposed discretization *** results and non-parametric statistical tests on 19 real-world datasets showed that the proposed algorithm outperforms four conventional approaches in terms of both classification accuracy,tree scale,and particularly tree *** the number of nodes,the proposed methods decision tree tends to be more balanced than in the other four *** complexity of the proposed algorithm was relatively low.

A high-nuclear Co-V-O cluster was firstly isolated by lacunary polyoxoanion, resulting in the high-nuclear mixed metal-oxo cluster-containing polyoxometalate (POM), K4Na28[{Co4(O-H)3(VO4)}4(SiW9O34)4]· 66H2O (1). In 1, the{Co4(O-H)3(VO4)}4{Co16-V4}core, composed of a{Co4O4}cubane, four{Co4(OH)3}qusi-cubanes and four VO4 units, was stabilized by four lacunary A-α-{SiW9O34} units. Photocatalytic study reveals that 1 exhibits excellent photocatalytic activity for CO2-to-CO conversion with high selectivity under visible light irradiation. The turnover number (TON) and turnover frequency (TOF) reaches as high as 10492 and 0.29 s^-1, respectively. Compound 1 represents the first high nuclear TM cluster-containing POM (TM=transition-metal) with efficient visible light catalytic activity for CO2 reduction, and its photocatalytic activity is much higher than those of most reported molecular catalysts. Photoluminescence spectroscopy study reveals that photoexcitation of Ru-photosensitizer is followed by an efficient electron transfer to POMs to reduce CO2.

Sulfate-centered Preyssler-type polyoxometalate was used as the precursor to react with transition metal cations and organic ligand for constructing inorganic-organic hybrid materials {H[Ni2（H2O）4（Htrz）3]2（KSsW30O110）}·18H2O （trz = 1,2,4-triazole）（1）, which was characterized by single crystal X-ray diffraction analysis, energy-dispersive X-ray （EDX）, power X-ray diffraction （PXRD）, IR spectra and thermogravimetric （TG） analyses. In 1, the cylindrical vacancy of the inorganic crown-type anion （SsW30Ouo） captures a K^＋ ion resulting in the anion {KS5W3oO110）^9-, which was further connected by dimeric [Ni2（H2O）4（Htrz）3]2 metal-organic units into an one-dimensional （1D） chain-like structure. These 1D chains are further packed to form a three-dimensional （3D） supramolecular structure via Hbonding interactions. Here, the sulfate-centered Preyssler-typepolyoxometalate was firstly used to coordinate with transition metal cations and introduced into the inorganic-organic hybrid materials. Electrocatalytic study indicates that compound I exhibits good electrocatalytic activity toward reduction of H2O2 and NO2^-.

A novel metal-free bulk nanocatalyst, S--N-codoped hollow carbon nanosphere/ graphene aerogel （SNC-GA-1000）, has been successfully fabricated using a facile and clean solid ion transition route. In this method, ZnS is used as the hard template and S source, while polydopamine acts as a reducing agent and carbon source. At a high annealing temperature, Zn metal is reduced and evaporates, leaving only free S vapor to diffuse into the carbon layer. Interestingly, the as-obtained SNC-GA-1000 exhibits much higher catalytic activity in an organic reduction reaction than unloaded bare S--N-codoped carbon nanospheres. Hydrothermal reduction of the graphene oxide sheets loaded with ZnSC@olydopamine core-shell nanospheres （ZnS@PDA） affords a three-dimensional bulk graphene aerogel. Although nanosized catalysts exhibit high catalytic activities, their subsequent separation is not always satisfactory, making post-treatment difficult. This approach achieves a trade-off between activity and separability. More importantly, due to the 3D structural nature, such bulk and handheld nanocatalysts can be easily separated and recycled.

One novel ＂S＂-shaped isopolyoxotungstate Ca2（H20）12（Ca4（H20）18[H2WllO3712}.20H20 （1） has been successfully synthesized by the conventional aqueous solution method. Single-crystal X-ray diffraction analysis revealed that compound 1 crystallized in triclinic system, space group P 1, with lattice constants a= 12.591（3）A, b= 12.738（3） A, c= 17.961（4） A, α =98.97（3）°, β= 99.85（3）°, y= 93.42（3）°. The ＂S＂- shaped cluster was built from two （W11） subunits, four Ca2＋ linking units and two （Ca（H20）6}2＋ decorating fragments. The electrochemical properties of I have been investigated in details.

BACKGROUND Our previous study found that the telomerase-associated protein 1(TEP1,rs938886 and rs1713449)and homo sapiens RecQ like helicase 5(RECQL5,rs820196)single nucleotide polymorphisms(SNPs)were associated with changes in heart rate(HR)≥30%during peritoneal lavage with distilled water after *** study established a single tube method for detecting these three SNPs using two-dimensional(2D)polymerase chain reaction(PCR),and investigated whether SNP-SNP and SNP-environment interactions increase the risk of high HR variability(HRV).AIM To investigate whether genotypes,genetic patterns,SNP-SNP and SNP-environment interactions were associated with *** 2D PCR was used to establish a single-tube method to detect TEP1 rs938886 and rs1713449 and RECQL5 rs820196,and the results were compared with those of sanger *** adjusting for confounders such as age,sex,smoking,hypertension,and thyroid dysfunction,a nonconditional logistic regression model was used to assess the associations between the genotypes and the genetic patterns(codominant,dominant,overdominant,recessive,and additive)of the three SNPs and a risk≥15%or≥30%of a sudden drop in HR during postoperative peritoneal lavage in patients with gastric ***-gene and geneenvironment interactions were analyzed using generalized multifactor dimensionality *** The coincidence rate between the 2D PCR and sequencing was 100%.When the HRV cutoff value was 15%,the patients with the RECQL5(rs820196)TC genotype had a higher risk of high HRV than those who had the TT genotype(odds ratio=1.97;95%CI:1.05-3.70;P=0.045).Under the codominant and overdominant models,the TC genotype of RECQL5(rs820196)was associated with a higher risk of HR decrease relative to the TT and TT+CC genotypes(P=0.031 and 0.016,respectively).When the HRV cutoff value was 30%,patients carrying the GC-TC genotypes of rs938886 and rs820196 showed a higher HRV risk when compared with the GG–TT genotype carriers

A simple and effective method for constructing highly efficient oxygen reduction catalysts with trace amount of isolated cobalt was firstly developed by the pyrolysis of Co-centered polyoxometalate@metalorganic framework (Co-POM@MOF).The Co-centered polyoxometalate ([Co W_(12)O_(40)]^(6-)) was confined in the well-defined void space of ZIF-8 to achieve homogeneous dispersion of polyoxoanions,where the isolated Co centers were well surrounded by the W-O shell and ZIF-8 *** Co-POM@MOF-derived N-doping porous carbon (Co-W-NC) with trace cobalt content was facilely prepared by the pyrolysis of the Co-POM@MOF under Ar *** single dispersion of polyoxoanions in the metal-organic framework with complete separation of Co center surrounding by W-O shell and ZIF-8 framework ensures the uniform dispersion of Co atoms,confirmed by the Fourier transform extended X-ray absorption fine structure *** Co-W-NC composite catalysts exhibit high performance for oxygen reduction reactions with a half-wave potential of 0.835 V in 0.1 mol/L KOH solution with excellent durability,which is much superior to that of the control samples derived from the[PW_(12)O_(40)]@ZIF-8,and the commercial Pt/*** work highlights a new insight for constructing highly efficient catalysts via the introduction of metal-centered polyoxometalate into metal-organic framework following the high temperature treatment process.
