OBJECTIVE:To investigate the effects of Aspongopus(A.)chinensis hemolymph on the proliferation and metastasis of breast cancer ***:The in vitro effects of *** hemolymph were investigated in murine(4T1)and human(HCC1937)breast cancer cell ***,cell apoptosis,and cell migration were evaluated by using the cell counting kit-8 assay,Hoechst staining,and wound healing experiments,respectively.A syngeneic mouse model was established to evaluate the in vivo effects of the hemolymph extract on tumor growth and *** body weight,tumor size,blood levels of function-related enzymes,and pathological features of the liver and kidney tissues were ***:The hemolymph of *** significantly inhibited in vitro tumor cell migration and viability while inducing ***,it inhibited in vivo tumor growth and metastasis with a minimal effect on mouse body weight,and did not induce liver or kidney ***:Our results suggested that the *** hemolymph has antitumorigenic properties,suggesting it has potential as a novel therapeutic option for the treatment of metastatic breast cancer.

The fundamental I-V formula of an organic field effect transistor(OFET)is improved to overcome the divergence of the integrand,so it is very convenient for both numerical calculations and analytic *** analytic I-V formulae are derived based on the exponential mobility model and power-function mobility model,respectively,and the derived analytic formulae are applied to three OFET *** results calculated from the reformulated analytic I-V formulae taking in exponential and power function mobility models are all in good agreement with the experimental I-V *** parameters μ_(0) and γ that are extracted from the mobility model and fitted by experimental data show simple Arrhenius temperature dependence and inverse linear relationship with temperature,*** findings are very useful for practical applications and device simulations.

Dynamic strain aging （DSA） effect on SA508-III reactor pressure vessel （RPV） steel was investigated. The SA508-III RPV steel was subjected to tension tests at different strain rates （1.1× 10-5 s-1 and 6.6× 10-5 s-1） and different temperatures （500 and 550 ℃） to evaluate the influence of strain rate and temperature on the serrated flow behavior, which is the repetitive and discontinuous yielding phenomenon on the stress-strain curves. The higher temperature leads to the higher density of precipitates, M23C6 carbides and needle-like Mo2C carbides. It was found that the samples under tension test of 6.6 × 10-5 s-1 and 500 ℃ possess superior mechanical properties and mainly show A-type serrations on the tension test curves. Then, the local regress method was used to filter the DSA curves, thus to show the real trend of the curves. It has been found that the less time of interaction between dislocations and precipitates under higher strain rates leads to a higher strength of the sample. The more tiny-stress drops on the 550 ℃ serration curve can be attributed to the hardening phase, M23C6 carbides and needle-like Mo2C carbides. The higher percentage of the small stress drops on the serration curves represents the higher mechanical strength.

In this study,a multi-physics and multi-scale coupling program,Fluent/KMC-sub/NDK,was developed based on the user-defined functions(UDF)of Fluent,in which the KMC-sub-code is a sub-channel thermal-hydraulic code and the NDK code is a neutron diffusion *** coupling program framework adopts the"master-slave"mode,in which Fluent is the master program while NDK and KMC-sub are coupled internally and compiled into the dynamic link library(DLL)as slave *** domain decomposition method was adopted,in which the reactor core was simulated by NDK and KMC-sub,while the rest of the primary loop was simulated using Fluent.A simulation of the reactor shutdown process of M2LFR-1000 was carried out using the coupling program,and the code-to-code verification was performed with ATHLET,demonstrating a good agreement,with absolute deviation was smaller than 0.2%.The results show an obvious thermal stratification phenomenon during the shutdown process,which occurs 10 s after shutdown,and the change in thermal stratification phenomena is also captured by the coupling *** the same time,the change in the neutron flux density distribution of the reactor was also obtained.

Recently, molecular electronics has become increasingly important. By applying the hybrid density functional theory coupled with the Green＇s function method, the current-voltage characteristics of the molecular junctions composed of gold-porphyrin-gold and gold-copper porphyrin-gold were investigated. The role of the metal coordination effect in organic molecular electron transport was highlighted. Although the thresholds of the bias voltage for both molecules were almost the same, approximately 0. 9 V, the metal compound showed a larger increase in current because of the metal-coordination-enhanced molecule-electrode coupling in the frontier molecular orbitals.

Nitrogen contamination of groundwater in the Jianghan Plain (JHP) in the middle reach‐es of the Yangtze River is widespread,but the sources and fate of nitrate (NO3-) in the transitional area between plains and hills are poorly *** paper characterized the distribution,sources and transformation processes of NO3-in groundwater in the hilly-plain transition area of JHP through hy‐drogeochemistry and dual isotopes (δ15N and δ18O-NO3-).The hydrogeochemical results showed that the NO3-in the plain and hilly areas is heterogeneous and controlled by *** plain to hilly ar‐eas in summer,NO3-in groundwater has a general trend of decreasing with the direction of groundwa‐ter *** groundwater in the plain area is strongly affected by anthropogenic activities,and the NO3-in the multi-level aquifer gradually decreases with increasing *** in redox conditions caused by river erosion may be responsible for higher NO3-in groundwater along the eroded *** isotopic results showed that NO3-in the hilly area mainly comes from soil organic nitrogen,which is a natural ***,groundwater NO3-in the plain area is strongly affected by livestock manure and domestic sewage,which may be owing to the high density of residents and the impact of anthropo‐genic activities.

The zero valent iron/granular active carbon(ZVI/GAC) micro-electrolysis enhanced by ultrasound(US) coupled with hydrogen peroxide(H_2O_2) was investigated for the deep degradation of nitrobenzene-containing wastewater. The results of scanning electron microscopy-energy dispersive X-rays analysis(SEM-EDS) demonstrated that continuously accelerated regeneration of ZVI and GAC in situ by US could improve the process for converting nitrobenzene(NB) to aniline(AN). H_2O_2 was decomposed catalytically by the byproduct Fe^(2+) ions generated in the micro-electrolysis process to hydroxyl radicals and the organic pollutants in the wastewater were finally mineralized to CO2 and H2O. Effects of the ZVI dosage, the ZVI/GAC mass ratio, the initial pH value and the H_2O_2 dosage on the efficiency for degradation of NB were studied in these experiments. The optimal operating conditions covered a ZVI dosage of 15 g/L, a ZVI/GAC mass ratio of 1:2,an initial pH value of 3 and a H_2O_2 dosage of 4 mL. In this case, the NB removal efficiency reached 97.72% and the total organic carbon(TOC) removal efficiency reached 73.42% at a NB concentration of 300 mg/L. The reduction of NB by USZVI/GAC followed the pseudo-first-order kinetics model, and the pseudo-first-order rate constants were given at different initial pH values. The reaction intermediates such as AN, benzoquinonimine, p-benzoquinone, p-nitrophenol and other organic acids were detected and a probable pathway for NB degradation has been proposed.

A turtle carapace bio-inspired Ti matrix hybrid composite was successfully fabricated in this work. This composite incorporates two parts： the Ti-Al intermetallic multilayered composite and continuous SiC fibers-reinforced Ti matrix composite. In the Ti-Al intermetallic multilayered composite part, a series of Ti-Al intermetallics compounds, including Ti3Al, TiAl, TiAl2 and TiAl3, were formed between the Ti layers. In the continuous SiC fibers-reinforced Ti matrix composite part, SiC fibers and Ti matrix were found to be bonded well through weak interface reaction. Flexural strength of this material reached 1.21 ±0.16 GPa, measured by three-point bending test. The deformation features suggest that the hierarchical structure combining ductile Ti layers/matrix with brittle high-strength Ti-Al intermetallics layers/SiC fibers can effectively enhance the mechanical properties of the bio-inspired hybrid composite.

Tip leakage flow(TLF)trajectory in a pump with gas entrainment is investigated via visualization experiments and numerical *** position of tip leakage vortex(TLV)is determined accurately by numerical *** high liquid flow rate(Q_(l))and high inlet gas volume fraction(IGVF)conditions,TLF flows from suction surface to pressure surface near the leading edge of blade,and the direction of TLF gradually changes along the chord which flows from pressure surface to suction surface near the tailing *** angle between TLF and blade mean camberline increases progressively as either Q_(l)or IGVF decreases,and starting position of TLV moves towards leading edge *** Q_(l)or IGVF decreases,value of vorticity increases and high vorticity region moves towards leading *** entropy production rate at blade tip clearance is high,and entropy diffuses from pressure surface to suction surface due to jet flow in blade tip *** greater the amount of accumulated gas there is,the greater the amount of entropy in the *** addition,when gas is entrained in pump,there are many low frequency fluctuations generated in blade tip clearance.
