The present study was to explore the Ile requirement of piglets fed 18%crude protein(CP)*** hundred and fifty 28-day-old Duroc×Landrace×Yorkshire piglets(8.37±1.92 kg)were randomly divided into 5 dietary treatments(10 piglets per replicate,5 barrows and 5 gilts per replicate)with 45%,50%,55%,60%,65%standardized ileal digestible(SID)Ile-to-Lys ratios,and the SID Lys was formulated to1.19%.The experimental design consisted of two phases(d 1 to 14 and d 15 to 28).Results showed that average daily gain(ADg)had a tendency to quadratically increase as the SID Ile-to-Lys ratio increased(P=0.09),and the optimum SID Ile-to-Lys ratios required to maximize ADg were 48.33%and 54.63%for broken-line linear model and quadratic polynomial model,*** SID Ile-to-Lys ratios had no significant effects on average daily feed intake and gain-to-feed *** matter(Pgross energy(Pganic matter(Pgestibility increased *** total cholesterol levels decreased linearly(P=0.01)and quadratically(Pglobulin g(P=0.03)and immunoglobulin M(P=0.01)concentrations increased *** Ser levels decreased linearly(Pglu(P=0.02),Arg(P=0.05),and Thr(P=0.03)levels decreased quadratically;gly(Pght(Pght to crypt depth ratio(Pg bacteria abundance and increased pathogenic bacteria ***,taking ADg as the effect index,the optimum SID Ile-to-Lys ratios of piglets offered 18%CP diets were 48.33%and 54.63%based on two different statistical models,respectively,and the deficiency or excess of lle negative

A Note on P m-Factorizable Topological groups

In this paper, we define a new class of P m-factorizable topological groups. A topological group g is called P m-factorizable if, for every continuous function f : g → M to a metrizable space M, one can find a perfect homomorphism π : g → K onto a second-countable topological group K and a continuous function g : K → M such that f = g■π. We show that a topological group g is P m-factorizable if and only if it is P R-factorizable. And we get that if g is a P m-factorizable topological group and K is any compact topological group, then the group g × K is P m-factorizable.

Facile fabrication of CdIn_(2)S_(4)/TiO_(2)heterojunction for enhanced solar light efficient CO_(2)reduction

Photocatalytic CO_(2)reduction is a promising solution to simultaneously provide renewable chemical fuels and address the greenhouse ***,designing practical photocatalysts with advanced architectures remains ***,we report the preparation of a novel CdIn_(2)S_(4)/TiO_(2)binary heterojunction via an in situ solvothermal approach,which exhibits superior photocatalytic activity for sunlight-driven CO_(2)*** CdIn_(2)S_(4)/TiO_(2)composites exhibit significantly enhanced photocatalytic performance for CO_(2)reduction compared to unmodified TiO_(2).Among them,the 3%CdIn_(2)S_(4)/TiO_(2)composite has optimal CO and CH_(4) evolution rates of 18.32 and 1.03μmol·g–1·h–1,*** yield of CO is 4.7 times higher than that of pristine TiO_(2).This improved photocatalytic activity of the CdIn_(2)S_(4)/TiO_(2)heterostructure can be attributed to its large surface area,extended light absorption range and high separation efficiency of photogenerated electron-hole pairs,which are supported by the results of photoluminescence spectroscopy and the photoelectrochemical ***,the photocatalytic mechanism based on the binary CdIn_(2)S_(4)/TiO_(2)heterojunction is proposed and separation process of photogenerated electron-hole pairs is *** brief,we aim to provide insights into the application of TiO_(2)in energy conversion processes through the construction of heterogeneous junctions.

B_(4)C/Al composites are widely utilized as neutron absorbing materials for the storage and transportation of spent nuclear *** order to improve the high-temperature mechanical properties of B_(4)C/Al composites,in-situ nano-Al_(2)O_(3)was introduced utilizing oxide on Al powder *** this study,the Al_(2)O_(3)content was adjusted by utilizing spheroid Al powder with varying diameters,thereby investigating the impact of Al_(2)O_(3)content on the tensile properties of(B_(4)C+Al_(2)O_(3))/Al *** was found that the pinning effect of Al_(2)O_(3)on the grain boundaries could hinder the recovery of dislocations and lead to dislocation accumulation at high *** the result,with the increase in Al_(2)O_(3)content and the decrease in grain size,the high-temperature strength of the composites increased *** finest Al powder used in this investigation had a diameter of 1.4μm,whereas the resultant composite exhibited a maximum strength of 251 MPa at room temperature and 133 MPa at 350℃,surpassing that of traditional B_(4)C/Al composites.

Floating plants reduced methane fluxes from wetlands by creating a habitat conducive to methane oxidation

Wetlands are one of the important natural sources of atmospheric methane (CH_4),as an important part of wetlands,floating plants can be expected to affect methane ***,the effects of floating plants on methane release are *** this study,methane fluxes,physiochemical properties of the overlying water,methane oxidation potential and rhizospheric bacterial community were investigated in simulated wetlands with floating plants Eichhornia crassipes,Hydrocharis dubia,and Trapa *** found that ***,***,and *** plants could inhibit 84.31%-97.31%,4.98%-88.91%and 43.62%-92.51%of methane fluxes at interface of water-atmosphere compared to Control,*** fluxes were negatively related to nutrients concentration in water column but positively related to the aerenchyma proportions of roots,stems,and *** the same biomass,root of *** (36.44%) had the highest methane oxidation potential,followed by *** (12.99%) and *** (11.23%).Forty-five bacterial phyla in total were identified on roots of three plants and 7 bacterial genera (2.10%-3.33%) were known *** I methanotrophs accounted for 95.07%of total *** pmoA gene abundances ranged from 1.90×10^(16)to 2.30×10^(18)copies/g fresh weight of root *** of pmoA gene was significantly positively correlated with environmental *** (5.40%) and methanotrophy (3.75%) function were closely related to methane *** study highlights that floating plant restoration can purify water and promote carbon neutrality partially by reducing methane fluxes through methane oxidation in wetlands.

Causal role of immune cells in obstructive sleep apnea hypopnea syndrome:Mendelian randomization study

BACKgROUND Despite being one of the most prevalent sleep disorders,obstructive sleep apnea hypoventilation syndrome(OSAHS)has limited information on its immunologic *** immunological underpinnings of certain major psychiatric diseases have been uncovered in recent years thanks to the extensive use of genome-wide association studies(gWAS)and genotyping techniques using highdensity genetic markers(e.g.,SNP or CNVs).But this tactic hasn't yet been applied to *** a Mendelian randomization analysis,we analyzed the causal link between immune cells and the illness in order to comprehend the immunological bases of *** To investigate the immune cells'association with OSAHS via genetic methods,guiding future clinical *** A comprehensive two-sample mendelian randomization study was conducted to investigate the causal relationship between immune cell characteristics and *** statistics for each immune cell feature were obtained from the gWAS *** on 731 immune cell properties,such as morphologic parameters,median fluorescence intensity,absolute cellular,and relative cellular,was compiled using publicly available genetic *** results'robustness,heterogeneity,and horizontal pleiotropy were confirmed using extensive sensitivity *** Following false discovery rate(FDR)correction,no statistically significant effect of OSAHS on immunophenotypes was ***,two lymphocyte subsets were found to have a significant association with the risk of OSAHS:Basophil%CD33dim HLA DR-CD66b-(OR=1.03,95%CI=1.01-1.03,PgD+CD24-B cell(OR=1.04,95%CI=1.02-1.04,P=0.019).CONCLUSION This study shows a strong link between immune cells and OSAHS through a gene approach,thus offering direction for potential future medical research.

Unveiling the intrinsic properties of single NiZnFeO_x entity for promoting electrocatalytic oxygen evolution

Although considerable research efforts have been devoted to the design and development of non-noble electrocatalysts for oxygen evolution reaction(OER), substantial enhancement of OER performance with commercial-scale water electrolysis remains a big challenge. This could result from the difficulties in detecting the intrinsic properties and overlooking the assembly process for electrochemical OER process. Here, we employ a microjet collision method to investigate the intrinsic OER activities of individual NiZnFeO_x entities with and without a moderate magnetic field. Our results demonstrate that single NiZnFeO_x nanoparticles(NPs) show the excellent OER performance with a lowest onset potential(~1.35 V vs. RHE) and a greatest magnetic enhancement(~118%) among bulk materials, single agglomerations and NPs. Furthermore, we explore the utility of theoretical investigation by density functional theory(DFT)calculations for studying OER process on NiZnFeO_x surfaces without and with spin alignment, indicating monodispersed NiZnFeO_xNPs with totally spin alignment facilitates the OER process under the external magnetic field. It is found that the well-dispersion of NiZnFeO_x NPs would increase the electrical conductivity and the surface spin state, resulting in promoting their OER activities. This work provides a test for uncovering the essential roles of NPs assembly to a significant promotion of their magnet-assisted OER.

Additives strategies to improving cycling stability of Li metal batteries by modifying electrode electrolyte interphases

Li metal batteries（LMBs） have attracted much attention due to the ultra-high theoretical capacity of the Li metal anode（Lma）.However,the uncontrollable dendrites growth and low coulombic efficiency hinder their practical ***,we explore 3,5-difluoropyridine（2F-BD） as a novel electrolyte additive to enable highperformance *** 2F-BD additive participates in and modifies the solvation structure of Li ions by reducing the coordinated number of PF6-at the electrode surface,leading to the formation of a LiF and Li3N-rich solid electrolyte interphase（SEI）.The LiF component increases the robustness of SEI and suppresses the formation of Li dendrites,while the Li3N component facilitates the transportation and reaction kinetics of Li *** a result,the Li‖Li symmetric cell presents a stable cycling performance of up to 500 h at a current density of 1 ma *** coupling with LiFePO4cathode,the obtained full cell achieves high specific capacities of 106.06 ma h g-1and 84.98 ma h g-1at 2.55 ma cm-2and 5.10 ma cm-2,respectively,and maintains a high capacity retention of84.0% after 1000 cycles at 0.13 ma cm-2,with an average cycling CE of 99.58%.
