Natural killer T cell lymphoma(NKTCL)is highly aggressive,with advanced stage patients poorly responding to intensive *** explore effective and safe treatment for newly diagnosed advanced stage NKTCL,we conducted a phase ll study of anti-metabolic agent pegaspargase plus PD-1 antibody sintilimab(NCT04096690).Twenty-two patients with a median age of 51 years(range,24-74)were enrolled and treated with induction treatment of pegaspargase 2500 IU/m2 intramuscularly on day 1 and sintilimab 200 mg intravenously on day 2 for 6 cycles of 21 days,followed by maintenance treatment of sintilimab 200 mg for 28 cycles of 21 *** complete response and overall response rate after induction treatment were 59%(95%Cl,43-79%)and 68%(95%Cl,47-84%),*** a median follow-up of 30 months,the 2 year progression-free and overall survival rates were 68%(95%Cl,45-83%)and 86%(95%Cl,63-95%),*** most frequently grade 3/4 adverse events were neutropenia(32%,n=7)and hypofibrinogenemia(18%,n=4),which were manageable and led to no discontinuation of *** proportion score of PD-L1,peripheral blood high-density lipoprotein cholesterol,and apolipoprotein A-l correlated with good response,while PD-1 on tumor infiltrating lymphocytes and peripheral Treg cells with poor response to pegaspargase plus sintilimab *** conclusion,the chemo-free regimen pegaspargase plus sintilimab was effective and safe in newly diagnosed,advanced stage *** lipid profle and immunosuppressive signature contributed to treatment resistance,providing an alternative therapeutic approach dual targeting fatty acid metabolism and CTLA-4 in NKTCL.

The ordered membrane electrode assembly(MEA)has gained much attention because of its potential in improving mass ***,a comprehensive study was conducted on the influence of the patterned microporous layer(MPL)on the proton exchange membrane fuel cell *** patterned MPL is employed,grooves are generated between the catalyst layer and the gas diffusion *** is found that the grooves do not increase the contact resistance,and it is beneficial for water *** the MEA works under low humidity scenarios,the MEA with patterned MPL illustrated higher performance,due to the reduced inner resistance caused by improved water retention,leading to increased ionic ***,when the humidity is higher than 80%or working under high current density,the generated water accumulated in the grooves and hindered the oxygen mass transport,leading to a reduced MEA performance.

AIM:To investigate the types of bacteria in patients with eye infections in Suzhou and their drug resistance to commonly used antibacterial ***:The clinical data of 155 patients were retrospectively collected in this study,and the pathogenic bacteria species and drug resistance of each pathogenic bacteria were ***:Among the 155 patients(age from 12 to 87 years old,with an average age of 57,99 males and 56 females)with eye infections(160 eyes:74 in the left eye,76 in the right eye and 5 in both eyes,all of which were exogenous),71(45.81%)strains were gram-positive bacteria,23(14.84%)strains were gram-negative bacteria and 61(39.35%)strains were ***-positive bacteria were highly resistant to penicillin and erythromycin(78.87%and 46.48%respectively),but least resistant to vancomycin at ***-negative bacteria were highly resistant to cefoxitin and compound sulfamethoxazole(100%and 95.65%respectively),but least resistant to meropenem at *** of the resistance of gram-positive and gram-negative bacteria to some drugs revealed statistically significant differences(Plications caused by eye infections.

The sea level in coastal areas of China reached the second highest in 2021,just after that recorded in *** force and dynamic analyses based on tide gauges,satellite observations,reanalysis data and regional numerical outputs were conducted to understand these abnormally high sea levels and determine their possible *** show that the coastal sea level of China had increased at an annual rate of 3.4±0.3 mm during 1980-2021,with an acceleration of 0.06±0.02 mm per *** superposition of significant oscillations of quasi-2,3-7,quasi-9,quasi-11,quasi-19 and 20-30 years contributed to the anomalously high sea *** negative-phased El Nino/Southern Oscillation was correlated with the anomalously high sea level and the north-south anti-phase pattern of the coastal sea level in ***,phase lags of 1-4 months occurred with the sea-level *** a decadal timescale,the Pacific Decadal Oscillation(PDO)was negatively correlated with the anomalous mean sea level(MSL),and the negative-phased PDO contributed to the anomalous sea-level change in ***,the monthly MSL peaked in April and July,and the contribution of wind stress to the anomalously high sea level was 38.5%in the south of the Taiwan Strait in April and 30%along the coast of China in *** results were consistent with the tide gauge and satellite *** agreement was also observed between the coastal sea-level fingerprint and the air and sea surface temperatures.

Although sulfonation plays crucial roles in various biological processes and is frequently utilized in medicinal chemistry to improve water solubility and chemical diversity of drug leads,it is rare and underexplored in ribosomally synthesized and post-translationally modified peptides(RiPPs).Biosynthesis of RiPPs typically entails modification of hydrophilic residues,which substantially increases their chemical stability and bioactivity,albeit at the expense of reducing water *** explore sulfonated RiPPs that may have improved solubility,we conducted co-occurrence analysis of RiPP class-defining enzymes and sulfotransferase(ST),and discovered two distinctive biosynthetic gene clusters(BGCs)encoding both lanthipeptide synthetase(lanM)and *** expressing these BGCs,we characterized the structures of novel sulfonated lanthipeptides and determined the catalytic details of lanM and *** demonstrate that SslST-catalyzed sulfonation is leader-independent but relies on the presence of A ring formed by *** lanM and ST are promiscuous towards residues in the A ring,but ST displays strict regioselectivity toward *** recognition of cyclic peptide by ST was further *** evaluation underscores the significance of the ST-catalyzed *** study sets up the starting point to engineering the novel lanthipeptide STs as biocatalysts for hydrophobic lanthipeptides improvement.

Objective: To explore the demographic and disease-related factors associated with acupuncture response in patients with chronic tension-type headache(CTTH). Methods: Using data from the randomized clinical trial(218 cases) consisting of 4 weeks of baseline assessment, 8 weeks of treatment, and 24 weeks of follow-up, participants were regrouped into responders(at least a 50% reduction in monthly headache days at week 16 compared with baseline) and non-responders. Twenty-three demographic and disease-related factors associated with acupuncture response in 183 participants were analyzed by multivariable logistic regression. Results: One hundred and nineteen(65.0%) participants were classified as responders. Four factors were significantly independently associated with acupuncture response, including treatment assignment, headache intensity at baseline, and 2 domains [general health(GH) and social functioning(SF)] from the 36-Item Short Form Health Survey quality of life questionnaire. Treatment assignment was associated with nonresponse: participants receiving true acupuncture were 3-time more likely to achieve a CTTH response than those receiving superficial acupuncture [odds ratio(OR) 0.322, 95% confidence interval(CI) 0.162 to 0.625, P=0.001]. Compared with patients with mild-intensity headache, patients with moderate-intensity headache were twice as likely to respond to acupuncture(OR 2.001, 95% CI 1.020 to 4.011, P=0.046). The likelihood of non-response increased by 4.5% with each unit increase in the GH grade(OR 0.955, 95% CI 0.917 to 0.993, P=0.024) while decreased by 3.8% with each unit increase in the SF grade(OR 1.038, 95% CI 1.009 to 1.069, P=0.011). Conclusions: Greater headache intensity, lower GH score, and higher SF score were associated with better acupuncture responses in CTTH patients. These 3 factors require independent validation as predictors of acupuncture effectiveness in CTTH.

In this study,we conducted simulations to find the geometric aberrations expected for images taken by the Main Survey Camera of the Chinese Space Station Telescope(CSST)due to its *** anticipated by previous work,our findings indicate that the geometric distortion of light impacts the focal plane's apparent scale,with a more pronounced influence as the size of the focal plane *** models suggest that the effect consistently influences the pixel scale in both the vertical and parallel *** apparent scale variation follows a sinusoidal distribution throughout one orbital *** reveal that the effect is particularly pronounced in the center of the Galaxy and gradually diminishes along the direction of ecliptic *** low ecliptic latitudes,the total aberration leads to about a 0.94 pixel offset(a 20 minute exposure)and a 0.26 pixel offset(a 300 s exposure)at the edge of the field of *** processings for the geometric effect during the CSST pre-and post-observation phases are presented.
