PI3K/AKT signaling and neuroprotection in ischemic stroke:molecular mechanisms and therapeutic perspectives

It has been reported that the PI3K/AKT signaling pathway plays a key role in the pathogenesis of ischemic *** a result,the development of drugs targeting the PI3K/AKT signaling pathway has attracted increasing attention from *** article reviews the pathological mechanisms and advancements in research related to the signaling pathways in ischemic stroke,with a focus on the PI3K/AKT signaling *** key findings include the following:(1)The complex pathological mechanisms of ischemic stroke can be categorized into five major types:excitatory amino acid toxicity,Ca^(2+)overload,inflammatory response,oxidative stress,and apoptosis.(2)The PI3K/AKT-mediated signaling pathway is closely associated with the occurrence and progression of ischemic stroke,which primarily involves the NF-κB,NRF2,BCL-2,mTOR,and endothelial NOS signaling pathways.(3)Natural products,including flavonoids,quinones,alkaloids,phenylpropanoids,phenols,terpenoids,and iridoids,show great potential as candidate substances for the development of innovative anti-stroke medications.(4)Recently,novel therapeutic techniques,such as electroacupuncture and mesenchymal stem cell therapy,have demonstrated the potential to improve stroke outcomes by activating the PI3K/AKT signaling pathway,providing new possibilities for the treatment and rehabilitation of patients with ischemic *** investigations should focus on the direct regulatory mechanisms of drugs targeting the PI3K/AKT signaling pathway and their clinical translation to develop innovative treatment strategies for ischemic stroke.

Uranyl oxamate hydrates: hydrothermal synthesis, crystal structure, photophysical properties, and selective crystallization

Presented here are two isostructural uranyl coordination polymers [UOe（EDO）（H2O）]· H2O （1） and [UO2（BDO）（H2O）]-2H2O （2）（EDO2---ethylene-1,2-dioxamate; BDO2 =butylene-1,2-dioxamate） with identical stepwise zigzag chain structure and distinct interchain hydrogen bonding interaction, prepared from hydrothermal reaction of DEEDO or DEBDO （DEEDO- diethyl ethylene-1,2-dioxamate; DEBDO--diethyl butylene-l,2-dioxamate） with uranyl ions. The monomeric uranyl-based fluorescence emissions of compounds 1 and 2 are red-shifted by about 6 and 5 nm respectively, compared to that of uranyl nitrate hexahydrate. Compound 1 has stronger emission than compound 2, but both their emissions exhibit triple-exponential decay. The photophysics of uranyl oxalate trihydrate was also investigated for comparison. The selective crystallization of compound 1 in alkaline solution was applied to the sequestration of uranyl ions, showing a kinetic preference.

Visible and near-infrared luminescence of polycatenated cationic pyridinone lanthanide networks

A series of isomorphic lanthanide coordination polymers [Ln（Ⅲ）（MBP）2（NO3）2（Br）- 2C3H60] [Ln=Eu, Tb, Er, Yb, and Gd; MBP=N,N＇-methylene-bis（pyridin-4-0ne）] featuring polycatenated sql cationic network and incorporated bromide counter ion were prepared. Their visible and near-infrared （NIR） luminescence properties were characterized by steady-state excitation and emission spectra, as well as luminescence lifetimes and quantum yields. The D2d dodecahedron coordination geometry causes visible light excitations and strongly monochromatic emissions. The external heavy-atom environment induces remarkable en- hancement on the NIR emissions. The sensitization processes are revealed by analyzing the electronic properties of MBP ligand.

Highly conductive and stable iodine doped argyrodite electrolyte for all-solid-state lithium batteries

Lithium argyrodites with high ionic conductivity and low cost are considered as one of the most prospective solid electrolytes for all-solid-state lithium ***,the poor chemical stability and compatibility with lithium metal limit their ***,Li5.4PS4.4Cl1.4I0.2solid electrolyte with high ionic conductivity of 11.49 m S cm-1and improved chemical stability is synthesized by iodine *** ultra-thin Li5.4PS4.4Cl1.4I0.2membrane with thickness of 10μm can be obtained by wet coating process,exhibiting a high ionic conductivity of 2.09 mS cm-1and low areal resistance of 1.17Ω***,iodine doping could in-situ form LiI at the lithium/electrolyte interface and improve the critical current density of Li5.4PS4.4Cl1.6from 0.8 to 1.35 mA *** resultant LiCoO2/Li5.4PS4.4Cl1.4I0.2/Li battery shows excellent cycling stability at 1 C,with a reversible specific capacity of 110.1 mA h g-1and a retention of 80.5% after 1000 *** addition,the assembled LiCoO2/Li5.4PS4.4Cl1.4I0.2membrane/Li pouch cell delivers an initial discharge capacity of 110.4 mA h g-1and 80.5% capacity retention after 100 cycles.

Electrochemical conversion of lignin for the production of high-value heterocyclic aromatic compounds has great *** demonstrate the targeted synthesis and cation modulation of NiCo2O4spinel nanoboxes,synthesized via cation exchange and calcination *** catalysts exhibit excellent efficacy in the electrocatalytic conversion of lignin model compounds,specifically 2-phenoxy-1-phenylethanol,into nitrogen-containing aromatics,achieving high conversion rates and *** catalysts were synthesized via a cation exchange and calcination oxidation process,using Prussian blue nanocubes as *** porous architecture and polymetallic composition of the NiCo2O4spinel demonstrated superior performance in electrocatalytic oxidative coupling,achieving a 99.2 wt%conversion rate of the 2-phenoxy-1-phenylethanol with selectivities of 37.5 wt%for quinoline derivatives and 31.5 wt%for *** innovations include the development of a sustainable one-pot synthesis method for quinoline derivatives,the elucidation of a multistage reaction pathway involving CAO bond cleavage,hydroxyaldol condensation,and CAN bond formation,and a deeper mechanistic understanding derived from DFT *** work establishes a new strategy for lignin valorization,offering a sustainable route to produce high-value nitrogen-containing aromatics from renewable biomass under mild conditions,without the need for additional reagents.

Robust Control Strategy for the Speed Control of Brushless DC Motor

Brushless DC motor ( BLDCM) speed servo system is multivariable,nonlinear and strong coupling. The parameter variation, the cogging torque and the load disturbance easily influence its performance. Therefore,it is difficult to achieve superior performance by using the conventional PID controller. To solve the deficiency,the paper represents the algorithm of active-disturbance rejection control ( ADRC) based on back-propagation ( BP) neural network. The ADRC is independent on accurate system and its extended-state observer can estimate the disturbance of the system accurately. However,the parameters of Nonlinear Feedback ( NF) in ADRC are difficult to obtain. So in this paper,these parameters are self-turned by the BP neural network. The simulation and experiment results indicate that the ADRC based on BP neural network can improve the performances of the servo system in rapidity,control accuracy,adaptability and robustness.

Mechanical behavior of Inconel 625 alloy manufactured by selective laser melting(SLM)was experimentally *** tests were performed at various temperatures(20,540,760,815,870,950 and 1000℃).The microstructures and fracture mechanism were investigated using optical microscopy(OM),scanning electron microscopy(SEM)and energy dispersive spectroscopy(EDS).The SLM Inconel 625 exhibits excellent plastic deformation at low ***,significant embrittlement for the SLM Inconel 625 was found at elevated temperatures compared to low temperature and traditional forging *** microstructure studies,the non-homogenous microstructure is a key factor causing the intergranular cracking mode at elevated ***,carbides were found to form at the grain boundary at elevated *** carbides could weaken the strength of the grain boundary at elevated temperatures,which decreased the tensile strength and ductility of the alloy processed by SLM.
