In the summer of 2021,southern Xinjiang,China,experienced a temporary period of high temperature *** of this weather event,jujube futures prices rose by more than 50%in a short *** clarify the influence mechanism of these two events,we investigated the current status of jujube farming and collected investors’online *** analysed these comments specifically using textual analysis tools,such as co-word *** showed that the concerns of investors about the reduction in jujube production triggered by high temperature extremes were the primary reason for the rapid rise in jujube futures *** in combination with the cultivation density of jujube and their adaptability to the growing environment,a new understanding can be *** is to say,when a crop is excessively densely cultivated in a region and is highly sensitive to a meteorological variable anomaly at a certain growth stage,a less destructive local extreme weather event could induce severe panic among investors regarding production reduction and thus influence the normal changes in futures *** response to the impact mechanisms revealed in this study,we proposed policy recommendations,such as strengthening the degree of crop damage disclosure and designing weather futures derivatives,to address similar situations in the *** study not only fills the gap in the research on the impact paths of high temperature extremes on jujube futures prices but also has a reference value for securing the stability of futures prices of related agricultural products in the future.

Reduction of Plasma MicroRNA-21 is Associated with Chemotherapeutic Response in Patients with Non-small Cell Lung Cancer

Objective： To examine plasma microRNA-21 （miR-21） level in patients with non-small cell lung cancer （NSCLC） and its potential correlation with chemotherapeutic response. Methods： 77 NSCLC patients and 36 age and sex-matched healthy controls were included. Plasma miR-21 concentration was examined using a quantitative real-time reverse transcription polymerase chain reaction assay （qRT-PCR）. Potential correlation between plasma mir-21 concentrations with chemotherapeutic responses was analyzed in 35 patients with advanced NSCLC （stages IIIB and IV）. Results： Plasma miR-21 was significantly higher in NSCLC patients relative to the healthy controls （P0.0001）. As a biomarker, plasma mir-21 had a receiver operating characteristic （ROC） curve area of 0.729 with 61.04% sensitivity and 83.33% specificity. Chemotherapeutic response in the 35 patients with advanced NSCLC （stages IIIB and IV） included partial response （PR）（n=11）, stable disease and progression disease （SD＋PD）（n=24）. The overall response rate （CR＋PR） was 31.4%. Plasma miR-21 in patients who achieved PR was significantly lower than those who did not respond （SD＋PD）（P=0.0487）, and comparable to that of the healthy controls （P=0.2744）. Conclusion： Plasma miR-21 is a good biomarker for NSCLC, and could be used to predict responses to chemotherapy.

Theoretical Study of the Molecular and Electronic Structures of CPDT-TCNQ and Its Difluoro and Dimethyl Derivatives

CPDT-TCNQ and its derivatives are good candidates for charge-transfer acceptors. In this work, the electronic ground and excited states of CPDT-TCNQ as well as its difluoro and dimethyl derivatives are studied. The ground state optimized structures and energies were obtained using a restricted （closed-shell） density functional theory （DFT） as approximated by the various hybrid functionals （RB3LYP, RB3P86, RB3PW91）. The 6-31G＊＊ and 6-31＋G＊＊ basis sets were employed in calculations. All derivatives are planar and exhibit a quinoid structure in their electronic ground states. The energy and oscillator strength of the first 15 singlet-singlet electronic transitions have been investigated by applying the dine-dependent density functional theory （TD-DFT） approximations to the correspondingly optimized ground state geometries. The results show the strongest absorption in electronic spectra of molecules due to the HOMO-LUMO electronic transition of the thiophene backbone.

Kolmogorov's 1941 theory(K41)of similarity hypotheses and the-5/3 law for energy spectrum are considered as the most important theoretical achievement in turbulence research and the success of the modem turbulence *** assumptions of sufficient high Reynolds number and isotropy of turbulence that K41 based upon,however,cannot generally be met in practice,and thus discrepancy is often observed between the f law and direct numerical simulation(DNS)results of boundary layers in wall bounded turbulence,especially for moderate to low Reynolds number *** vector is a recently defined new physical quantity which is extracted from turbulent flow to represent the rigid rotation part of fluid ***,Liutex is free from viscous dissipation and thus independent of Reynolds number,relaxing the very high Reynold number assumption of *** similarity has been solidly demonstrated by DNS for a moderate Reynolds number turbulent boundary layer(Reθ≈1000),both the frequency and wavenumber spectrum of Liutex accurately matches the-5/3 law,which is obviously much better than the turbulence energy spectrum,while vorticity and other popular vortex identification methods,Q criterion for example,do not possess such a distinguished feature due to stretching and shearing contamination.

Water conservation is one of the most important ecosystem *** study uses the InVEST model to examine the water conservation function of the Qilian Mountain National Park(QMNP),an important water supply area in northwest *** analyzed the spatiotemporal water conservation patterns of QMNP from 1988 to *** showed that the water conservation capacity in QMNP has increased over the past 32 years,reaching a peak of 6.495×108 m3 in *** area with an increased water conservation capacity is 12 times larger than the area with a reduced *** also examined how climatic,land-use,vegetation coverage,and topographical factors influence water conservation *** found that precipitation is the main climatic factor in water *** water conservation function also varies with land-cover type,with forests having the highest capacity,followed by ***,topographical factors,including altitude and slope,also shape the spatial patterns of water conservation functions in QMNP.

Modelling and Verification of Real-Time Publish and Subscribe Protocol Using UPPAAL and Simulink/Stateflow

Real-Time Publish and Subscribe (RTPS) protocol is a protocol for implementing message exchange over an unreliable transport in data distribution service (DDS). Formal modelling and verification of the protocol provide stronger guarantees of its correctness and efficiency than testing alone. In this paper, we build formal models for the RTPS protocol using UPPAAL and Simulink/Stateflow. Modelling using Simulink/Stateflow allows analyzing the protocol through simula-tion, as well as generate executable code. Modelling using UPPAAL allows us to verify properties of the model stated in TCTL (Timed Computation Tree Logic), as well as estimate its performance using statistical model checking. We further describe a procedure for translation from Stateflow to timed automata, where a subset of major features in Stateflow is supported, and prove the soundness statement that the Stateflow model is a refinement of the translated timed automata model. As a consequence, any property in a certain fragment of TCTL that we have verified for the timed automata model in UPPAAL is preserved for the original Stateflow model.

Hot rolling and annealing effects on the microstructure and mechanical properties of ODS austenitic steel fabricated by electron beam selective melting

The grain morphology, nano-oxide particles and mechanical properties of oxide dispersion strengthened （ODS）-316L austenitic steel synthesized by electron beam selective melting （EBSM） technique with different post-working processes, were explored in this study. The ODS-316L austenitic steel with superfine nano-sized oxide particles of 30-40 nm exhibits good tensile strength （412 MPa） and large total elongation （about 51%） due to the pinning effect of uniform distributed oxide particles on dislocations. After hot rolling, the specimen exhibits a higher tensile strength of 482 MPa, but the elongation decreases to 31.8% owing to the introduction of high-density dislocations. The subsequent heat treatment eliminates the grain defects induced by hot rolling and increases the randomly orientated grains, which further improves the strength and ductility of EBSM ODS-316L steel.

Mapping regional cropping patterns by using GF-1 WFV sensor data

The successful launched Gaofen satellite no. 1 wide field-of-view （GF-1 WFV） camera is characterized by its high spatial resolution and may provide some potential for regional crop mapping. This study, taking the Bei＇an City, Northeast China as the study area, aims to investigate the potential of GF-1 WFV images for crop identification and explore how to fully use its spectral, textural and temporal information to improve classification accuracy. In doing so, an object-based and Random Forest （RF） algorithm was used for crop mapping. The results showed that classification based on an optimized single temporal GF-1 image can achieve an overall accuracy of about 83%, and the addition of textural features can im- prove the accuracy by 8.14%. Moreover, the multi-temporal GF-1 data can produce a classification map of crops with an overall accuracy of 93.08% and the introduction of textural variables into multi-temporal GF-1 data can only increase the accuracy by about 1%, which suggests the importance of temporal information of GF-1 for crop mapping in comparison with single temporal data. By comparing classification results of GF-1 data with different feature inputs, it is concluded that GF-1 WFV data in general can meet the mapping efficiency and accuracy requirements of regional crop. But given the unique spectral characteristics of the GF-1 WFV imagery, the use of textual and temporal information is needed to yield a satisfactory accuracy.

Identification of plasma microRNA-21 as a biomarker for early detection and chemosensitivity of non-small cell lung cancer

Studies have shown cell-free microRNA(miRNA) circulating in the serum and plasma with specific expression in cancer,indicating the potential of using miRNAs as biomarkers for cancer diagnosis and *** study was to investigate whether plasma miRNA-21(miR-21) can be used as a biomarker for the early detection of non-small cell lung cancer(NSCLC) and to explore its association with clinicopathologic features and sensitivity to platinum-based *** used real-time RT-PCR to investigate the expression of miR-21 in the plasma of 63 NSCLC patients and 30 healthy controls and correlated the findings with early diagnosis,pathologic parameters,and ***-five patients(stages IIIB and IV) were evaluable for chemotherapeutic responses:11 had partial response(PR);24 had stable and progressive disease(SD+PD).Plasma miR-21 was significantly higher in NSCLC patients than in age-and sex-matched controls(P0.05).This marker yielded a receiver operating characteristic(ROC) curve area of 0.775(95% CI:0.681-0.868) with 76.2% sensitivity and 70.0% ***,miR-21 plasma levels in PR samples were several folds lower than that in SD plus PD samples(P=0.049),and were close to that in healthy controls(P=0.130).Plasma miR-21 can serve as a circulating tumor biomarker for the early diagnosis of NSCLC and is related to the sensitivity to platinum-base chemotherapy.
