In this study, we investigate the stochastic finite-time stability theory and finite-time stabilization of stochastic time-varying nonlinear systems with Markovian switching in the sense of weak solutions. First,we present the stochastic finite-time stability theory under the framework of weak solutions: the existence of weak solutions and stochastic finite-time stability theorems for stochastic time-varying nonlinear systems with Markovian switching. Second, for a class of high-order stochastic nonlinear systems with Markovian switching, a finite-time stabilization controller is constructively designed, and the trivial weak solution of a closed-loop system is proven to be globally finite-time stable in probability. The effectiveness of the proposed finite-time control method is illustrated by a numerical example.

Ommochrome is the major source for eye coloration of all insect species so far examined.Phenoxazinone synthetase (PHS)has always been regarded as the terminal step enzyme for ommochrome formation,which is encoded by cardinal or karmoisin genes. Our previous study indicated that the karmoisin ortholog gene (Nl-karmoisin)product in the brown planthopper (BPH)was a monocarboxylate transporter,while not a PHS. Here,based on full-length complementary DNA,the cardinal ortholog gene in BPH (Nl-cardinal)product was predicted to be a haem peroxidase rather than a PHS.We suggest for the first time that neither karmoisin nor cardinal encodes the PHS,but whether PHS participates in BPH eye pigmentation needs further research.Nymphal RNA interference (RNAi)experiments showed that knockdown Nl-cardinal transcript led the BPH ocelli and compound eye to color change from brown to red,while knockdown Nl-karmoisin only made the ocelli present the red phenotype.Notably,not only the Nl-cardinal transcript, dscd injection (Nl-cardinal targeting double-stranded DNA (dsRNA))also significantly reduced the Nl-karmoisin transcript by 33.7%,while dska (Nl-karmoisin targeting dsRNA) injection did not significantly change the Nl-cardinal transcript.Considering the above RNAi and quantitative real-time polymerase chain reaction results,we propose that Nl-cardinal plays a more important role in ommochrome synthesis than Nl-karmoisin,and it may be an upstream gene of Nl-karmoisin.The present study suggested that both karmoisin and cardinal ortholog genes play a role in ommochrome synthesis in a hemimetabolous insect.

Rickettsia consists of some of the most prevalent symbionts of insects and often plays a significant role in the biology of its hosts.Recently,a maternally inherited Torix group Rickettsia,provisionally named as RiTBt,was recorded in a species of notorious pest whitefly,tentatively named as Asia II 1,from the Bemisia tabaci complex.The role of this Rickettsia in the biology of its host is unknown.Here we investigated the impact of RiTBt on the performance and virus transmission capacity of Asia II 1.RiTBt did not significantly affect the life history parameters of the whitefly when the host insect was reared on tobacco,tomato,and cotton,three host plants with relatively low,medium and high suitability to the whitefly.Intriguingly,RiTBt slightly enhanced whitefly transmission of cotton leaf curl Multan virus(CLCuMuV),a virus that is transmitted by the whitefly in the field and has caused extensive damage to cotton production.Specifically,compared with whiteflies without RiTBt,following a 48 h virus acquisition whiteflies with RiTBt had higher titer of virus and showed higher efficiency of virus transmission.A rickettsial secretory protein BtR242 was identified as a putative virus-binding protein,and was observed to interact with the coat protein of CLCuMuV in vitro.Viral infection of the whitefly downregulated gene transcript levels of the BtR242 gene.These observations indicate that RiTBt has limited impact on the biology of the Asia II 1 whitefly,and whether this symbiont has functions in the biology of other host whiteflies warrants future investigation.

The effects of MgO/Al_(2)O_(3)and CaO/SiO_(2)ratios on the viscosity,break-point temperature,and viscous activation energy of a high titanium-bearing slag were studied.The results showed that both the viscosity and the break-point temperature of the slag decreased with the MgO/Al_(2)O_(3)ratio increasing from 0.50 to 0.65,the viscous activation energy decreased gradually,and the thermal stability became better.In addition,with an increase in CaO/SiO_(2)ratio from 1.12 to 1.22,the main viscous units in the slag depolymerized and the viscosity of slag decreased.However,the break-point temperature of slag showed an increasing tendency.The viscous activation energy decreased gradually and the thermal stability became better.The basic phase in the experimental high titanium-bearing slag was pyroxene,and its amount increased with increasing the MgO/Al_(2)O_(3)ratio while decreased with increasing the CaO/SiO_(2)ratio.

The Cooling Storage Ring external-target experiment(CEE)spectrometer is used to study the nuclear matter created in heavy-ion collisions at√sNN=2.1-2.4 GeV with the aim to reveal the quantum chromodynamics phase structure in the high-baryon-density region.Collective flow is considered an effective probe for evaluating the properties of media during high-energy nuclear collisions.One of the main functions of the zero-degree calorimeter(ZDC),a subdetector system in the CEE,is to determine the reaction plane in heavy-ion collisions.This step is crucial for measuring the collective flow and other reaction-plane-related analyses.In this paper,we illustrate the procedures for event plane determination using the ZDC.Finally,isospin-dependent quantum molecular dynamics model-based predictions of the rapidity dependence of the directed and elliptical flows for p,d,t,3He,and 4He,produced in 2.1 GeV U+U collisions,are presented.

The zero-degree calorimeter(ZDC)plays a crucial role toward determining the centrality in the Cooling-Storage-Ring External-target Experiment(CEE)at the Heavy Ion Research Facility in Lanzhou.A boosted decision tree(BDT)multi-classification algorithm was employed to classify the centrality of the collision events based on the raw features from ZDC such as the number of fired channels and deposited energy.The data from simulated^(238)U+^(238)U collisions at 500 MeV∕u,generated by the IQMD event generator and subsequently modeled using the GEANT4 package,were employed to train and test the BDT model.The results showed the high accuracy of the multi-classification model adopted in ZDC for centrality determination,which is robust against variations in different factors of detector geometry and response.This study demon-strates the good performance of CEE-ZDC in determining the centrality in nucleus-nucleus collisions.

Objective: To investigate the mechanism of Chinese herbal medicine Dioscorea nipponica for the treatment of monosodium urate crystals-induced gouty arthritis(GA) in rats. Methods: Sixty male Wistar rats were divided into 6 groups: normal, model, indomethacin and three total saponin(900, 300 and 100 mg/kg) groups. The liver, kidney and serum levels of lysosomal enzymes, antioxidant capacities, and inflammatory factors were measured. In addition, the m RNA and protein levels of the NALP3 inflammasome components in the mononuclear cells of rats’ peripheral blood were analyzed using real-time polymerase chain reaction and Western blotting methods, respectively. Results: Total saponins groups could reduce the activities of β-galactosidase,β-N acetyl glucosamine enzyme,β-glucuronidase, acid phosphatase, and malonaldehyde as wel as the contents of TNF-α, IL-1β and IL-8(all P<0.05). They could also increase the activities of glutathione peroxidase and total superoxide dismutase(both P<0.05). Further studies showed that total saponins groups of high, middle and low doses could all increase the m RNA and protein levels of caspase-1, adapter apoptosis-associated speck-like protein containing a caspase-recruitment domain(ASC) and NALP3 in the mononuclear cells of peripheral blood(all P<0.05). Conclusion: Dioscorea nipponica may treat GA by regulating lysosomal enzymes, antioxidant capacities and the NALP3 inflammasome.

Hydroxyquinone compounds, such as 1,4-dihydroxyanthraquinone and alizarin sulfonate, are widely used in dye manufacturing, pharmaceutical manufacturing, and other industries. However, the treatment of hydroxyquinone-containing wastewater has seldom been examined. This study used a precipitation method with barium salt to treat nano-silver industrial wastewater. The results show that barium chloride was a suitable reagent for significantly degrading COD and color from nano-silver wastewater. When the initial pH value was 10.5, 8 g of BaCl2·2H2O were added to 100 mL of wastewater. After reaction at 15℃ for 1 h, the removal efficiencies of COD and color in the nano-silver wastewater were 85.6% and 97.1%, respectively. Simulated wastewater containing sodium alizarin-3-sulfonate (ARS) or purpurin was used to further investigate the removal mechanism of hydroxyquinone compounds. Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy, X-ray diffraction, and some related experiments showed that hydroxyquinone compounds can directly react with barium ions in the solution so as to transfer from wastewater to precipitate. In addition, the newly produced barium sulfate particles have positive surface charges, which can improve the removal efficiency of hydroxyquinone compounds due to electrostatic attraction.

Lipid droplet(LD)in vegetative tissues has recently been implicated in environmental responses in plants,but its regulation and its function in stress tolerance are not well understood.Here,we identified a Membrane Occupation and Recognition Nexus 1(MORN1)gene as a contributor to natural variations of stress tolerance through genome-wide association study in Arabidopsis thaliana.Characterization of its loss-of-function mutant and natural variants revealed that the MORN1 gene is a positive regulator of plant growth,disease resistance,cold tolerance,and heat tolerance.The MORN1 protein is associated with the Golgi and is also partly associated with LD.Protein truncations that disrupt these associations abolished the biological function of the MORN1 protein.Furthermore,the MORN1 gene is a positive regulator of LD abundance,and its role in LD number regulation and stress tolerance is highly linked.Therefore,this study identifies MORN1 as a positive regulator of LD abundance and a contributor to natural variations of stress tolerance.It implicates a potential involvement of Golgi in LD biogenesis and strongly suggests a contribution of LD to diverse processes of plant growth and stress responses.

目的:评估茶多酚对人乳腺癌细胞MCF-7凋亡的影响,并探讨了其作用机制。创新点:全面考察了茶多酚对抗乳腺癌的分子机制,为茶多酚作为抗肿瘤辅助药物提供理论依据。方法:首先选取不同组织来源的五种人肿瘤细胞(人肝癌细胞Hep G2、人肺癌细胞A549、人前列腺癌细胞PC3、人宫颈癌细胞Hela、人乳腺癌细胞MCF-7)作为体外模型,以MTT法检测茶多酚对其增殖抑制作用。然后,选用最敏感细胞MCF-7为研究对象,采用流式细胞术检测茶多酚对细胞周期分布的影响,用Hoechst 3328染色法观察茶多酚对细胞核形态的影响,用JC-1染色法观察茶多酚对细胞线粒体跨膜电位的影响,用双氯荧光素(DCFH-DA)染色法观察茶多酚对细胞活性氧(ROS)水平的影响,用凝胶电泳DNA片段测定法(DNA ladder)观察茶多酚处理后细胞DNA断裂情况,用蛋白质印迹法(Western blot)检测茶多酚对细胞凋亡关键蛋白caspase-3和caspase-9表达的影响,全面探讨了茶多酚体外抗肿瘤机制。结论:实验结果显示,茶多酚能够通过诱导细胞周期阻滞和线粒体凋亡抑制MCF-7细胞增殖。茶多酚诱导线粒体凋亡的途径是使线粒体跨膜电位下降,促使MCF-7细胞内ROS生成,促使细胞DNA断裂和促进细胞内caspase-3和caspase-9的活化。
