Dear Editor,This letter considers the finite-time stability(FTS)problem of generalized impulsive stochastic nonlinear systems(ISNS).By employing the stochastic Lyapunov and impulsive control approach,some novel criteria on FTS are presented,where both situations of stabilizing and destabilizing impulses are considered.Furthermore,new impulse-dependent estimation strategies of stochastic settling time(SST)are proposed.

This study investigates the problem of robust mode-dependent control for a class of discrete-time singular Markovian jump systems with time-varying delay.Using the Lyapunov functional method and delay decomposition approach,Linear matrix inequality(LMI)-based sufficient conditions for the stochastic stability and robust modedependent control are developed,which guarantee the considered systems to be regular,causal and stochastically stabilisable.Finally,numerical examples are presented to demonstrate the effectiveness and advantages of the theoretical results.

In this paper, a nonautonomous stochastic food-chain system with functional response and impulsive perturbations is studied. By using Itô's formula, exponential martingale inequality, differential inequality and other mathematical skills, some sufficient conditions for the extinction, nonpersistence in the mean, persistence in the mean, and stochastic permanence of the system are established. Furthermore, some asymptotic properties of the solutions are also investigated. Finally, a series of numerical examples are presented to support the theoretical results, and effects of different intensities of white noises perturbations and impulsive effects are discussed by the simulations. In this paper, we study a stochastic predator-prey model with Beddington-DeAngelis functional response and Allee effect, and show that there is a unique global positive solution to the system with the positive initial value. Sufficient conditions for global asymptotic stability are established. Some simulation figures are introduced to support the analytical findings.

Numerical Analysis of Residual Strength in the Perforated Casing of Ultra Deep Wells

The interval matrix method is applied to multiple delayed memristive fractional-order neural networks with fuzzy cellular concept to achieve synchronization.Along with interval matrix method,Lyapunov function method and regarding discontinuous part as uncertainties,the LMI type asymptotically and exponentially synchronization results are obtained,which are also suitable for integer-order systems.And the obtained results are showed effective by a simulation example.

A three-dimensional model for the numerical simulation of casing-cement behavior is used to investigate residual strength in the perforated casing of ultra deep wells.The influence of the hole diameter,hole density and phase angle on the residual strength of the casing under non-uniform stress and fracturing conditions is revealed through the consideration of different perforation parameters.It is shown that the residual strength of the casing increases with the hole diameter and periodically changes with the hole density;the phase angle is the main factor that affects the residual strength of the perforated casing,and the perforation should be avoided in the direction of the minimum principal stress to reduce stress concentration at the perforation hole.Moreover,as shown by a companion orthogonal experiment,the descending order of influence of the different influential parameters is:phase angle,hole diameter,hole density and the thickness of casing.

The robust stability of uncertain neutral systems with mixed time-varying delays is investigated in this paper. The uncertainties under consideration are norm-bounded and time-varying. Based on the Lyapunov stability theory, a delay-dependent stability criterion is derived and given in the form of a linear matrix inequality （LMI）. Finally, a numerical example is given to illustrate significant improvement over some existing results.
