BACKGROUND Liver transplant(LT)recipients are susceptible to carbapenem-resistant Klebsiella pneumoniae(CRKP)*** research addressing the incidence,timing,infection sites,resistance patterns,treatment options,and associated risk factors among LT recipients with CRKP is now *** To assess the incidence,resistance,therapy,and risk factors of CRKP infections post-LT,and to evaluate the impact of them on *** A retrospective study was conducted,including 430 consecutive patients who underwent LT between January 2015 and June *** study aimed to investigate the risk factors for CRKP infections and their influence on outcomes using logistic regression *** Among the 430 patients who underwent LT,20(4.7%)experienced at least one documented CRKP infection within 3 months *** median time from LT to the onset of CRKP infections was 6.5 *** lungs and bloodstream were the most common sites of CRKP *** isolates were relatively susceptible to ceftazidime/avibactam(93.7%),polymyxin B(90.6%),and tigecycline(75.0%)***,all isolates were resistant to piperacillin/tazobactam,ceftazidime,cefepime,aztreonam,meropenem,and levofloxacin *** with CRKP infections had a mortality rate of 35%,the rate was 12.5%for those receiving ceftazidime/avibactam *** analysis identified female sex[odds ratio(OR)=3.306;95%confidence interval(CI):1.239-8.822;P=0.017],intraoperative bleeding≥3000 mL(OR=3.269;95%CI:1.018-10.490;P=0.047),alanine aminotransferase on day 1 post-LT≥1500 U/L(OR=4.370;95%CI:1.686-11.326;P=0.002),and post-LT mechanical ventilation(OR=2.772;95%CI:1.077-7.135;P=0.035)as significant variables associated with *** infections were related to an intensive care unit length(ICU)of stay≥7 days and 6-month all-cause mortality *** CRKP infections were frequent complications following LT,with poor associated *** factors for p

Invasive inflammation and excessive scar formation are the main reasons for the difficulty in repairing nervous tissue after spinal cord *** and astrocytes play key roles in the spinal cord injury micro-environment and share a close ***,the mechanisms involved remain *** this study,we found that after spinal cord injury,resting microglia(M0)were polarized into pro-inflammatory phenotypes(MG1 and MG3),while resting astrocytes were polarized into reactive and scar-forming *** expression of growth arrest-specific 6(Gas6)and its receptor Axl were significantly down-regulated in microglia and astrocytes after spinal cord *** vitro experiments showed that Gas6 had negative effects on the polarization of reactive astrocytes and pro-inflammatory microglia,and even inhibited the cross-regulation between *** further demonstrated that Gas6 can inhibit the polarization of reactive astrocytes by suppressing the activation of the Yes-associated protein signaling ***,in turn,inhibited the polarization of pro-inflammatory microglia by suppressing the activation of the nuclear factor-κB/p65 and Janus kinase/signal transducer and activator of transcription signaling *** vivo experiments showed that Gas6 inhibited the polarization of pro-inflammatory microglia and reactive astrocytes in the injured spinal cord,thereby promoting tissue repair and motor function ***,Gas6 may play a role in the treatment of spinal cord *** can inhibit the inflammatory pathway of microglia and polarization of astrocytes,attenuate the interaction between microglia and astrocytes in the inflammatory microenvironment,and thereby alleviate local inflammation and reduce scar formation in the spinal cord.

The manipulation of single atom within the metallic kernel of nanoclusters has attracted considerable attention due to its potentials to elucidate kernel-based structure-property relationships at the single-atom ***,new-designed chiral bialkynyl ligands,have been chosen as protective agents to isolate two pairs of 8-electron superatomic silver nanoclusters,R/S-Ag39 and R/S-Ag40.X-ray diffraction analysis reveals that Ag39 and Ag40 with the same number of chiral ligands,possess a closely analogous silver skeleton but a single-atomic *** incorporation of an extra Ag40th atom into Ag40 evokes two significant changes of structure and property compared to Ag39:(i)a reduction in the symmetry of the entire nanocluster,resulting in an enhancement of kernel-related asymmetry g-factor;(ii)a regulation of the transitions(1P→1D and Ligand(π)→1D)of excited state,leading to a second near-infrared(NIR-II,1000-1700 nm)phosphorescent emission red-shift from 1088 to 1150 *** work not only provides vital insights into the relationship between structures and ground/excited states chiroptical activities at the single-atom level,but also presents bialkynyl as a promising stabilizing agent for building superatomic metal nanoclusters.

BACKGROUND Gallbladder neuroendocrine carcinoma(NEC)represents a subtype of gallbladder malignancies characterized by a low incidence,aggressive nature,and poor *** its clinical severity,the genetic alterations,mechanisms,and signaling pathways underlying gallbladder NEC remain *** SUMMARY This case study presents a rare instance of primary gallbladder NEC in a 73-year-old female patient,who underwent a radical cholecystectomy with hepatic hilar lymphadenectomy and resection of liver segments IV-B and *** gene sequencing and bioinformatics analysis tools,including STRING,GeneMANIA,Metascape,TRRUST,Sangerbox,cBioPortal and GSCA,were used to analyze the biological functions and features of mutated genes in gallbladder *** mutations(APC,ARID2,IFNA6,KEAP1,RB1,SMAD4,TP53,BTK,GATA1,GNAS,and PRDM3)were identified,and the tumor mutation burden was determined to be 9.52 muts/Mb via targeted gene sequencing.A protein-protein interaction network showed significant interactions among the twelve mutated *** Ontology and Kyoto Encyclopedia of Genes and Genomes analyses were used to assess mutation functions and *** results revealed 40 tumor-related pathways.A key regulatory factor for gallbladder NEC-related genes was identified,and its biological functions and features were compared with those of gallbladder *** Gallbladder NEC requires standardized *** with other gallbladder carcinomas revealed clinical phenotypes,molecular alterations,functional characteristics,and enriched pathways.

Robot teleoperation plays an important role in industrial manufacturing in unknown and dangerous environments beyond human reach. In telerobotic manufacturing tasks, environmental interaction forces may vary significantly from task to ***, it is crucial to provide operators with the specific proportional feedback of environmental interaction forces to enhance their environmental awareness and manipulation capabilities. However, variable time delays and various scales of environmental interaction force feedback seriously affect the system stability, which should be rigorously addressed when designing control parameters. To cope with these difficulties, a position and scaled force tracking control framework is proposed and the LyapunovKrasovskii theory is used to obtain a simple algebraic stability criterion with the scaling factor of the environmental interaction force feedback. In addition, a low-pass filter-based radial basis function neural network is designed to avoid the effect of the measurement noise and the sudden change of the non-passive environmental interaction force on the system stability. Compared with different controllers in various telerobotic manufacturing tasks such as heavy lifting, cutting, and polishing, our proposed method achieves better position and scaled force tracking performance.
