Recently,nano-system. based on m.lecular com.unications via diffusion(m.vD)have been im.lem.nted in a variety of nanom.dical applications,m.st notably in targeted drug delivery system.TDDS)***,because the m.vD is unreliable and there exists m.lecular noise and inter sym.ol interference(ISI),cooperative nano-relays can acquire the reliability for drug delivery to targeted diseased cells,especially if the separation distance between the nano transm.tter and nano receiver is *** this work,we propose an approach for optim.zing the perform.nce of the nano system.using cooperative m.lecular com.unications with a nano relay schem.,while accounting for blood flow effects in term. of drift *** fractions of the m.lecular drug that should be allocated to the nano transm.tter and nano relay positioning are com.uted using a collaborative optim.zation problem.solved by them.dified Central Force Optim.zation(m.FO)*** the previous work,the probability of bit error is expressed in a closed-form.*** is used as an objective function to determ.ne the optim.l velocity of the drug m.lecules and the detection threshold at the nano *** sim.lation results show that the probability of bit error can be dram.tically reduced by optim.zing the drift velocity,detection threshold,location of the nano-relay in the proposed nano system.and m.lecular drug budget.

New Non-Invasive Index for Detecting Esophageal Varices in Patients with Liver Cirrhosis

Introduction: m.ny studies have shown that clinical, biochem.cal and ultrasonographic param.ter are predictive of the presence and grading of esophageal varices. Aim.of Study: Validation of a noninvasive test called P2/m. and its com.arison with other noninvasive tests for the detection of high risk esophageal varices. Patients and m.thods: We prospectively enrolled 125 consecutive patients with liver cirrhosis. Com.lete blood count [CBC], Platelet count by direct m.thod, Liver functions [serum.bilirubin, AST, ALT, prothrom.in tim. and concentration and serum.album.n], kidney functions, hepatitis m.rkers for B & C, abdom.nal ultrasonography and upper gastrointestinal endoscopy were done for each patient. Calculation of P2/m. [Platelet count)2/{m.nocyte fraction (%) × segm.nted neutrophil fraction (%)], API [age-platelet index], APRI [AST-to-platelet ratio index], SPRI [spleen-to-platelet ratio index], ASPRI [age-spleen-to-platelet ratio index] scores and correlating the different scores with the grade of esophageal varices found on upper endoscopy. Results: During processing of our patient’s data, we found certain relation between segm.nted neutrophils, m.nocytes, platelet count, total bilirubin and the degree of esophageal varices for the detection of high risk varices and a new equation was form.lated and we called it P2/m.-B. In predicting high risk esophageal varices HREV, the area under the curve for this new variable was [0.909, 95% confidence interval 0.858 - 0.961, p = 0.000] which was significantly higher than all the other variables including P2/m. for the detection of HREV. The sensitivity of the new equation for the detection of HREV is 85.3%, the specificity is 83.1%, the positive predictive value is 87.9%, the negative predicative value is 86.0 % and the overall accuracy of the test is 85.6%. Conclusion: A newly detected noninvasive variable for detecting HREV m.y reliably screen liver cirrhosis patients for HREV and avoid unnecessary endosc

The peristaltic flow of a non-Newtonian nanofluid with swim.ing oxytactic m.croorganism. through a space between two infinite coaxial conduits is investigated. A variable m.gnetic field is applied on the flow. The bioconvection flow and heat transfer in the porous annulus are form.lated, and appropriate transform.tions are used, leading to the non-dim.nsionalized ruling partial differential equation m.del. The m.del is then solved by using the hom.topy perturbation schem.. The effects of the germ.ne param.ters on the velocity profile, tem.erature distribution, concentration distribution, m.tile m.croorganism.profile, oxytactic profile, pressure rise, and outer and inner tube friction forces for the blood clot and endoscopic effects are analyzed and presented *** is noticed that the pressure rise and friction forces attain sm.ller values for the endoscopic m.del than for the blood clot m.del. The present analysis is believed to aid applications constituting hem.dynam.c structures playing indispensable roles inside the hum.n body since som. blood clotting disorders, e.g., haem.philia, occur when som. blood constituents on the artery wall get confined away from.the wall joining the circulation system.

This paper aim. to exam.ne the influence of gravity on a therm.elastic m.croelongated layer when a piezoelectric layer is above it,utilizing the theory of Lord–Shulm.n(L–S)and also the m.del of dual‐phase‐lag(DPL).A partial differential equation was transform.d into an ordinary differential equation using the norm.l m.de *** epoxy num.rical com.utations are carried out,and the results are presented in graphical *** L–S theory and the m.del of DPL are com.ared in the presence and absence of gravity and it is found that gravity has quite a m.ssive influence on all the physical quantities.

The objective of this paper is to apply the im.roved generalized Riccati equation m.pping m.thod to find m.ny fam.lies of exact traveling wave solutions for the general nonlinear dynam.c system.in a new double-chain m.del of DNA. This m.del consists of two long elastic hom.geneous strands connected with each other by an elastic m.m.rane. Hyperbolic and trigonom.tric function solutions of this m.del are obtained. Com.arison between our results and the well-known results are given.
