In this study,graphene oxide was covalently immobilized on silica-coated magnetite and then modified with 2-phenylethylamine to give a nanocomposite of type Fe3O4@SiO2@GO-PEA that can be applied to the magnetic solid-phase extraction of polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons（PAHs） from water *** resulting microspheres（Fe3O4@SiO2@GO-PEA） were characterized by Fourier transform-infrared spectroscopy（FT-IR）,scanning electron microscopy（SEM）,CHNS elemental analysis,and vibrating sample magnetometry（VSM） *** adsorbent possesses the magnetic properties of Fe3O4 nanoparticles that allow them easily to be separated by an external magnetic *** also have the high specific surface area of graphene oxide which improves adsorption *** conditions,extraction time,amount of adsorbent,salt concentration,and pH were investigated and *** desorption,the PAHs were quantified by gas chromatography with flame ionization detection（GC-FID）.The limits of detection（at an S/N ratio of 3） were achieved from 0.005 to0.1 μg/L with regression coefficients（R2） higher than *** relative standard deviations（RSDs） were below 5.8%（intraday） and 6.2%（inter-day）,*** method was successfully applied to the analysis of PAHs in environmental water samples where it showed recoveries in the range between 71.7%and 106.7%（with RSDs of 1.6%to 8.4%,for n = 3）.The results indicated that the Fe3O4@SiO2@GO-PEA microspheres had a great promise to extraction of PAHs from different water samples.

The objective of this investigation was to introduce a cement-based composite of higher quality. For this purpose new hybrid nanocomposite from bagasse fiber,glass fiber and multi-wall carbon nanotubes（MWCNTs）were manufactured. The physical and mechanical properties of the manufactured composites were measured according to standard methods. The properties of the manufactured hybrid nanocomposites were dramatically better than traditional composites. Also all the reinforced composites with carbon nanotube, glass fiber or bagasse fiber exhibited better properties rather than neat *** results indicated that bagasse fiber proved suitable for substitution of glass fiber as a reinforcing agent in the cement composites. The hybrid nanocomposite containing10 % glass fiber, 10 % bagasse fiber and 1.5 % MWCNTs was selected as the best compound.

Specific gravity segregation that occurs during the smelting process always leads to the low composition homogeneity and poor performance stability of the magnesium-rare earth(Mg-RE)*** this study,the segregation behavior of Mg-Gd alloy was investigated by sampling from different locations in the ingot fabricated in a resistance furnace without a pouring *** combined application of induction-heating and mechanical stirring with various speeds(0-130 r/min)was applied to promote the distribution homogeneity of Gd *** the resistance-heating fabricated ingot,Gd content at the bottom section reaches 407%of that at the *** coarse dendrites surrounded by the network-like eutectic structures are responsible for the brittle fracture with a poor elongation of 3.7%.By the combined employment of the induction heating and mechanical stirring with the speed of 87 r/min at 740℃for 40 s,the variation of the Gd content within the whole ingot can be reduced to be the minimum of 0.23 wt%.Corresponding formation and regulating models of segregation were also ***,the cooling rate of the melt is reduced by the continuous increase of the stirring speed to 130 r/min,which results in the grain coarsening and lower homogeneity of the ingot.

This study was designed to establish a strategy for the extraction,purification,and structure analysis of chondroitin sulfate(cs)in milligram *** acidic polysaccharides were extracted from six kinds of marine animals by enzymatic hydrolysis and hexadecylpyridinium chloride precipitation and purified by Q Sepharose Fast Flow strong anion exchange *** purification of each crude polysaccharide was completed within 1 *** structure of the polysaccharides,*** chemical characterization,functional group,molecular weight and monosaccharide composition,were analyzed by colorimetry,nuclear magnetic resonace and high-performance liquid chromatogrpahy,*** polysaccharides were identified as *** oligosaccharide profile produced by enzyme hydrolysis of polysaccharides was determined by strong anion-exchange high-performance liquid *** method can be widely applied to the extraction and characterization of chondroitin sulfate from unknown raw materials,screening high-quality sources of functional polysaccharides,and laying a good foundation for thefollowing studyof the structure-function relationshipof polysaccharides.

Background and objectives:High-pressure processing(HPP)is a promising assistive method to extract pectic polysaccharides with high rhamnogalacturonan I(RG-I)domain and berries are sources of such pectic *** study extracts pectic polysaccharides from goji berry,raspberry,and cranberry,examines how HPP influences the pectic polysaccharide structure of three berries,and provides a basis for the extraction and modification of pectic polysaccharides with specific structure and *** and methods:An orthogonal test was performed to optimize the HPP-assisted alkali method to extract the high yield and high RG-I content pectic polysaccharides from three *** information of pectic polysaccharides extracted by the HPP method and conventional methods were compared from the perspectives of monosaccharide composition,molecular weight,Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy,***:For raspberry,the optimal conditions consisted of a pressure of 50o MPa,a pH of 13,and a pressure-holding time of 12 min,while the optimal conditions for goji berry and cranberry were both 40o MPa,pH 13,and 15 *** the optimal conditions,the yields for goji berry,raspberry,and cranberry were 10.49%,16.63%,and 17.52%,respectively,and RG-l contents were 81.85%,83.30%,and 63.22%,*** showed an effect to degrade homogalacturonan backbones and side chains and increase the RG-I content to some ***:HPP-assisted alkali method was revealed to be an efficient method to extract high RG-I content pectic polysaccharides,especially for cranberry,and was a potential method to modify pectic polysaccharide structure in a certain way.

Recently the field of cholestasis has expanded enormously reflecting an improved understanding of the molecular mechanisms underlying bile secretion and its perturbation in chronic cholestatic disease. Novel anti-cholestatic therapeutic options have been developed for patients not favorably responding to ursodeoxycholic acid (UDCA), the current standard treatment for cholestatic liver disease. Important novel treatment targets now also include nuclear receptors involved in bile acid (BA) homoeostasis like farnesoid X receptor and G proteincoupled receptors e.g., the G-protein-coupled BA receptor “transmembrane G coupled receptor 5”. Fibroblast growth factor-19 and enterohepatic BA transporters also deserve attention as additional drug targets as does the potential treatment agent norUDCA. In this review, we discuss recent and future promising therapeutic agents and their potential molecular mechanisms in cholestatic liver disorders.

The use of a constrained groove pressing(CGP) method to plastically deform AA6063 aluminum alloy led to the improved surface properties. It was found that hardness magnitude is dramatically improved and its uniformity is considerably decreased after the first pass, while subsequent passes result in better hardness behavior for the processed material. Also, the elongated grains formed in the first pass of the CGP are gradually converted to the equiaxed counterparts by adding pass numbers. Eventually, higher corrosion resistance of the sample by imposing the CGP process is related to the quick formation of passivation film and the change in the morphology of the second phase and precipitates which hinder their electrochemical reactions and decrease the potential localized attack sites.
