Bio-capped and green synthesis of ZnO/g-C_(3)N_(4) nanocomposites and its improved antibiotic and photocatalytic activities: An exceptional approach towards environmental remediation

In this research study, we have synthesized the bio-capped ZnO/g-C_(3)N_(4) nanocomposites by employing lemon juice(Citrus limon) as a stabilizer and mediator. Fruitfully, lemon juice which contains various acidic functional groups and citric acid has the capability to block the surface of g-C_(3)N_(4) from chemical reactivity and activated the surface of g-C_(3)N_(4) for various reactions. Consequently, the agglomeration behavior and controlled shape of g-C_(3)N_(4) has also been achieved. Our experimental results i.e. XRD,TEM, HRTEM, PL, FS, XPS, and PEC have confirmed that the lemon juice mediated and green g-C_(3)N_(4)(L-CN) have good performances and remarkable visible light photocatalytic activities as compared to the chemically synthesized g-C_(3)N_(4)(CN). Furthermore, the small surface area and low charge separation of g-C_(3)N_(4) is upgraded by coupling with Zn O nanoparticles. It is proved that the coupling of Zn O worked as a facilitator and photoelectron modulator to enhance the charge separation of g-C_(3)N_(4). Compared to pristine lemon-mediated green g-C_(3)N_(4)(L-CN), the most active sample 5Zn O/L-CN showed ~ 5-fold improvement in activities for ciprofloxacin(CIP) and methylene blue(MB) degradation. More specifically,the mineralization process and degradation pathways, and the mineralization process of ciprofloxacin(CIP) and methylene blue(MB) are suggested. Finally, our present novel research work will provide new access to synthesize the eco-friendly and bio-caped green g-C_(3)N_(4)nanomaterials and their employment for pollutants degradation and environmental purification.

Power Efficient Scheduled-Based Medium Access Control Protocol over Wireless Sensor Networks

The flexible use of sensors has made them an attractive device to be deployed in almost every field of life such as health, military and home. Recent advancement in electronics and wireless communications has witnessed the development of low cost-sensor devices. While wireless sensor networks (WSNs) are flexible to use and less costly, they need to be more energy-efficient as they are operated by the battery. Mostly they are deployed in harsh environments where it is very difficult to change the batteries frequently. Several medium access control (MAC) algorithms have been developed for the energy-efficient acquisition of the wireless channel, however, none of them are satisfactory. In this paper, we proposed a medium access control algorithm called MAC-PE. MAC-PE is based on the concept of prioritized frames where prioritized frames are transmitted urgently. In addition, it uses scheduled-based MAC instead of accessing channel randomly. We found MAC-PE (Power-Efficient MAC) was efficient in terms of power consumption without sacrificing on the performance using NS-2.

如今,人类生存的环境面临着许多严重的环境污染问题。其中,水污染问题对生物和生态系统造成了危害。然而,一些有害的有机污染物如罗丹明B、亚甲基蓝、双酚A以及强力霉素、磺胺嘧啶、环丙沙星等抗生素不断被添加到水中,严重影响着水生生物和人类的安全。为了解决上述环境污染问题,研究者采用了物理、机械、化学、生物等多种常用方法,但是这些技术在成本效益和无害化方面还需要加强。因此,需要高效、无毒、低成本的技术来降解这些有机污染物和抗生素。前人有研究表明,一些纳米材料可以直接利用太阳能从而进行环境修复,这种环境修复方法很有吸引力并且有发展前景。在各种纳米材料中,石墨化氮化碳(g-CN)表现出有趣的特性,引起了人们的广泛关注。这些显著的特征使g-CN基复合材料成为一种新型纳米材料,在环境修复方面具有应用价值。但其化学合成路线、钝化表面、快速光生电荷复合等缺点仍限制了其实际应用。因此,提高(改善也可以)g-CN的活性就显得十分重要。为了提高g-CN的性能,从生态系统中去除有害物质,我们突破性创造了一些新方法,本文的主要内容如下:1.以枇杷为介体绿色合成SnO/g-CN基多西环素、罗丹明B矿化纳米复合材料我们在第一项试验设计中,成功地将枇杷叶提取物作为介质与环保剂合成制备了绿色g-CN。结果表明,枇杷叶介导的g-CN纳米片高效、稳定,其活性比一般的g-CN纳米片提高约2-4倍。为了进一步提高活性,我们利用SnO纳米片复合了g-CN。有趣的是,SnO纳米片的耦合成功地增强了电荷分离,并展现出催化功能。与G-CNS相比,活性最高的5SO/G-CNS对脱氧土霉素和罗丹明B的降解能力分别提高了2.3倍和2.6倍。***耦合g-CN纳米复合材料的仿生绿色合成及其对磺胺嘧啶和双酚A降解活性的提高在第二项研究中,我们利用绿色环保的方法,以生姜为原料合成了g-CN基纳米复合材料。与一般的g-CN相比,生姜为原料合成的g-CN具有良好的性能活性。通过二氧化钛纳米颗粒的偶联改善了g-CN的表面积和电荷分离。二氧化钛的耦合作为促进剂和光电子调制器,增强了电荷分离。与生姜为原料合成的g-CN相比,活性最高的样品5Ti/GCN对磺胺嘧啶和氨氮的降解能力提高了2.5倍以上。***/g-C3N4纳米复合材料的生物包盖合成及其对环丙沙星和亚甲基蓝降解活性的提高在第三项研究中,我们利用柠檬汁有效地制备了生物覆盖的ZnO/g-CN绿色纳米复合材料。柠檬汁中含有多种柠檬酸和酸性官能团,能够阻断g-CN表面的化学反应,激活g-CN表面从而进行各种反应。结果表明,氧化锌的耦合作为促进剂和光电子调制器,增强了g-CN的电荷分离。与g-CN相比,活性最高的5ZnO/L-CN提高了约5倍的活性能力。

Empirical Analysis of Neural Networks-Based Models for Phishing Website Classification Using Diverse Datasets

Phishing attacks pose a significant security threat by masquerading as trustworthy entities to steal sensitive information,a problem that persists despite user *** study addresses the pressing issue of phishing attacks on websites and assesses the performance of three prominent Machine Learning(ML)models—Artificial Neural Networks(ANN),Convolutional Neural Networks(CNN),and Long Short-Term Memory(LSTM)—utilizing authentic datasets sourced from Kaggle and Mendeley *** experimentation and analysis reveal that the CNN model achieves a better accuracy of 98%.On the other hand,LSTM shows the lowest accuracy of 96%.These findings underscore the potential of ML techniques in enhancing phishing detection systems and bolstering cybersecurity measures against evolving phishing tactics,offering a promising avenue for safeguarding sensitive information and online security.

A consensus meeting of national experts from all major national hepatobiliary centres in the country was held on May 26,2023,at the Pakistan Kidney and Liver Institute&Research Centre(PKLI&RC)after initial consultations with the *** Pakistan Society for the Study of Liver Diseases(PSSLD)and PKLI&RC jointly organised this *** effort was based on a comprehensive literature review to establish national practice guidelines for hilar cholangiocarcinoma(hCCA).The consensus was that hCCA is a complex disease and requires a multidisciplinary team approach to best manage these *** coordinated effort can minimise delays and give patients a chance for curative treatment and effective *** diagnostic and staging workup includes high-quality computed tomography,magnetic resonance imaging,and magnetic resonance *** cytology or biopsy utilizing endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography is a mainstay for ***,histopathologic confirmation is not always required before *** ultrasound with fine needle aspiration of regional lymph nodes and positron emission tomography scan are valuable adjuncts for *** only curative treatment is the surgical resection of the biliary tree based on the Bismuth-Corlette *** patients with unresectable hCCA can be considered for liver *** chemotherapy should be offered to patients with a high risk of *** use of preoperative biliary drainage and the need for portal vein embolisation should be based on local multidisciplinary *** with acute cholangitis can be drained with endoscopic or percutaneous biliary *** chemotherapy with cisplatin and gemcitabine has shown improved survival in patients with irresectable and recurrent hCCA.

Surface Plasmon Polariton Fizeaus Dragging: via Relative Rotational Sensing

A new scheme focusing on the surface plasmon polariton interferometry between the metal and dielectric interface is introduced. The phase shift is measured by using surface plasmon polariton wave, generated at the interface of metallic and dielectric media. The phase shift of SPPs is modi?ed under phase and amplitude control of complex conductivity for interferometry. The control ?elds strongly in?uence the phase shift of SPPs for detection of molecular motion. The phase shift of SPPs is further modi?ed by Plasmon polariton Fizeaus dragging effect. We measure 20%–25%fractional change in delay and their phases shift between two left and right SPPs modes. Our results may have signi?cant applications in sensor interferometer technology.

Nitriding of Aluminium Alloy in Nitrogen and Nitrogen-Helium Mixture Using 100 Hz-Pulsed DC Glow Discharge

Nitriding of aluminium alloy （***0.8） in nitrogen and nitrogen-helium mixture was carried out by using 100 Hz-pulsed DC glow discharge. Samples are treated for different durations, namely 4 h, 8 h and 12 h, in nitrogen plasma as well as in a mixture of nitrogen- helium plasma for the same processing duration of 4 h. All nitriding treatments are carried out at an input power of 100 W, filling pressure of 1 mbar and substrates temperature of 250~C. X-ray diffraction （XRD） results show an expansion in lattice spacing and consequently shift of diffraction peaks towards lower angle with the addition of helium in nitrogen plasma. Surface morphology of the treated sample is investigated by scanning electron microscopy （SEM） and energy dispersive X-ray analysis （EDX）. Vickers micro-hardness testing results show increases in surface hardness with processing duration as well as with the addition of helium in nitrogen plasmas. This increase of surface hardness may be attributed to the diffusion of nitrogen content in the surface layer generating internal stresses. It is observed that the addition of helium positively affects the nitriding of samples.

Nanofluid Heat Transfer in Irregular 3D Surfaces under Magnetohydrodynamics andMulti-Slip Effects

This study employs the Buongiorno model to explore nanoparticle migration in a mixed convection second-grade fluid over a slendering(variable thickness)stretching *** convective boundary conditions are applied to the *** addition,the analysis has been carried out in the presence of Joule heating,slips effects,thermal radiation,heat generation and *** study aimed to understand the complex dynamics of these nanofluids under various external *** governing model has been developed using the flow assumptions such as boundary layer approximations in terms of partial differential *** partial differential equations are first reduced into ordinary differential equations and then numerically solved using the Runge-Kutta-Fehlberg method(RK4)in conjunction with a shooting *** results indicate significant increases in Nusselt and Sherwood numbers by up to 14.6%and 23.2%,respectively,primarily due to increases in the Brownian motion parameter and thermophoresis ***,increases in the magnetic field parameter led to a decrease in skin friction coefficients by 37.5%.These results provide critical insights into optimizing industrial processes such as chemical production,automotive cooling systems,and energy generation,where efficient heat andmass transfer are ***;velocity-slip effects;Joule heating;convective boundary conditions;Runge-Kutta-Fehlberg method(RK4).

Trustworthy Explainable Recommendation Framework for Relevancy

Explainable recommendation systems deal with the problem of‘Why’.Besides providing the user with the recommendation,it is also explained why such an object is being *** helps to improve trustworthiness,effectiveness,efficiency,persuasiveness,and user satisfaction towards the *** recommend the relevant information with an explanation to the user is *** systems provide the top-k recommendation options to the user based on ratings and reviews about the required object but unable to explain the matched-attribute-based recommendation to the user.A framework is proposed to fetch the most specific information that matches the user requirements based on Formal Concept Analysis(FCA).The ranking quality of the recommendation list for the proposed system is evaluated quantitatively with Normalized Discounted Cumulative Gain(NDCG)@k,which is better than the existing *** is provided qualitatively by considering trustworthiness criterion i.e.,among the seven explainability evaluation criteria,and its metric satisfies the results of proposed *** framework can be enhanced to accommodate for more effectiveness and trustworthiness.
