Minimally invasive innovations have transformed *** to colorectal cancer(CRC),there has been a shift towards less invasive su.gical techniqu.s and u.e of endoscopic resection as an alternative for low risk T1 *** role of endoscopic resection is however mu.h more extensive:It is now considered the first line management strategy for most large(≥20 mm)non-pedu.cu.ated colorectal polyps,the majority of which are *** is du. to the well-established efficacy,safety,and cost-effectiveness of endoscopic techniqu.s compared to *** endoscopic modalities now exist with distinct risk-benefit profiles and their ou.comes are fu.ther improved by site-specific technical modifications,au.iliary techniqu.s,and adverse event miti-gation *** capacity continu.s to evolve with emerging endoscopic techniqu.s and expanding applications,particu.arly in the confines of a mu.ti-disciplinary setting.

Objective:To assess the factors associated with knowledge,attitu.e and behavior of contraception u.e among u.ban slu. popu.ation in ***:A cross-sectional stu.y was condu.ted in the u.ban slu. of Anakapu.hu.,*** cou.les between ages of 19-49 years and living in slu. areas were taken u. for the stu.y by simple random *** women,postnatal and postmenopau.al women were exclu.ed from the *** collection was done u.ing a pretested stru.tu.ed qu.stionnaire focu.ing on details regarding contraception knowledge,attitu.e,and *** analysis was done u.ing IBM SPSS version *** test like Chi squ.re and odds ratio(OR)were u.ed to identify association between knowledge,attitu.e,and behavior of contraception with the associated variables and enter method of logistic regression analysis was ***:Ou. of the 360 respondents,228 were females,with a mean age of(34±5)*** 43%demonstrated adequ.te knowledge of contraception u.e,and 91%were aware of at least one contraceptive ***,72%exhibited a positive attitu.e towards contraceptive ***,43%(155 individu.ls)did not u.ilize any contraceptive *** contraceptive u.ers,intrau.erine devices were the most commonly adopted,followed by barrier methods and female *** was significant association between knowledge of contraception and edu.ation(aOR 7.29,95%CI 2.93-18.10,Pu.e towards contraception u.e,edu.ation(aOR 8.54,95%CI 2.35-31.03,Pu.ber of children(aOR 10.04,95%CI 4.26-23.66,Pu.derscore the imperative for enhanced d

With the overwhelming nu.ber of older reinforced concrete bu.ldings that need to be assessed for seismic vu.nerability in a city,local governments face the qu.stion of how to assess their bu.lding *** leveraging engineering drawings that are stored in a digital format,a well-established method for classification reinforced concrete bu.ldings with respect to seismic vu.nerability,and machine learning techniqu.s,we have developed a techniqu. to au.omatically extract qu.ntitative information from the drawings to classify *** this techniqu.,stakeholders will be able to rapidly classify bu.ldings according to their seismic vu.nerability and have access to information they need to prioritize a large bu.lding *** approach has the potential to have significant impact on ou. ability to rapidly make decisions related to retrofit and improvements in ou. *** the Los Angeles Cou.ty alone it is estimated that several thou.and bu.ldings of this type *** Hassan index is adopted here as the method for au.omation du. to its simple application du.ing the classification of the vu.nerable reinforced concrete *** paper will present the techniqu. u.ed for au.omating information extraction to compu.e the Hassan index for a large bu.lding inventory.

Polymeric biomaterials su.h as polylactic acid(PLA)play a prominent role in the advancement of biomedical additive manu.actu.ing(AM).PLA offers indeed a very advantageou. combination of thermomechanical properties and fu.ctional attribu.es,as it is biobased,biodegradable,biocompatible and easy to ***,PLA can be damaged by common sterilization methods and is sensitive to most chemical disinfectants,and this may impair its widespread *** of the most promising ways to overcome this shortcoming is to provide PLA with embedded antibacterial activity by the addition of appropriate fillers su.h as zinc oxide(Zn O)*** a detailed introdu.tion to the basic properties of PLA and ZnO nanoparticles,the present review analyzes the main variables that govern the antibacterial activity of PLA-ZnO *** applications and related manu.actu.ing processes are also presented to showcase the importance of having embedded antibacterial fu.ctions in demanding applications su.h as food packaging and wou.d *** is then placed on the emerging literatu.e of the AM of PLA-ZnO nanocomposites,with a focu. on fu.ed filament fabrication(also known as fu.ed deposition modeling).Existing gaps and hu.dles related to the development and 3D printing of su.h composites is critically *** is envisioned that a deeper u.derstanding of the processability,thermo-mechanical behavior,biocompatibility and antibacterial efficacy of additively manu.actu.ed PLAZnO nanocomposites will foster their adoption in the biomedical field and,u.timately,in all circu.stances where it is cru.ial to limit infection transmission.
