Role of illness perception and self-efficacy in lifestyle modification among non-alcoholic fatty liver disease patients

To describe the relationships between non-alcoholic fatty-liver disease (NAFLD) patient’s disease consequences and treatment perceptions, self-efficacy, and healthy lifestyle *** cross-sectional study among 146 ultrasound diagnosed NAFLD patients who visited the fatty liver clinic at the Tel-Aviv Medical Center. Eighty-seven of these individuals, participated in a clinical trial of physical activity and underwent fasting blood tests, analyzed at the same lab. Exclusion criteria included positivity for serum HBsAg or anti-HCV antibodies; fatty liver suspected to be secondary to hepatotoxic drugs; excessive alcohol consumption (≥ 30 g/d in men or ≥ 20 g/d in women) and positive markers of genetic or immune-mediated liver diseases. Patients were asked to complete a self-report structured questionnaire, assembled by the Israeli Center for Disease Control. Nutrition habits were measured using six yes/no questions (0 = no, 1 = yes) adopted from the national survey questionnaire. Participants in the clinical trial completed a detailed semi-quantitative food frequency questionnaire (FFQ) reporting their habitual nutritional intake during the past year. Self-efficacy was assessed by the Self-Efficacy Scale questionnaire, emotional representation, degree of illness understanding, timeline perception, treatment perception and symptoms were measured by the Brief Illness Perception questionnaire. Illness consequences were measured by the Personal Models of Diabetes Interview questionnaire. A path analysis was performed to describe the interrelationships between the patients’ illness perceptions, and assess the extent to which the data fit a prediction of nutritional *** study sample included 54.1% men, with a mean age of 47.76 ± 11.68 years (range: 20-60) and mean body mass index of 31.56 ± 4.6. To improve the resilience of distribution networks(DNs)in the event of extreme natural disasters such as typhoons and rainstorms,it is imperative to efficiently implement distribution service restoration(DSR)to restore loads as soon as *** previous studies,DSR has mainly adopted the distributed resource model with droop or PQ *** inhibits the exploitation of the potential of distributed generators(DGs)in load restoration when the DN loses support from the upstream transmission ***,this paper proposes a multi-resource collaborative service restoration(MRCSR)approach for DNs incorporating local soft open points,DGs,and tie *** MRCSR model is developed by integrating a decentralized hierarchical droop control(DHDC)strategy and incorporating the frequency and voltage features of the load demand.A two-stage iterative feedback optimization(TSIFO)algorithm is then developed to analyze the MRCSR model in an accurate and efficient ***,the proposed model and algo-rithm are tested on the modified IEEE 33-bus system and a practical distribution system of the Taiwan Power Company to verify their effectiveness and advantages over existing approaches.

房地产业作为国民经济的重要组成部分，其金融风险的管理与控制关系着整个金融体系的稳定性。近年来，我国房地产市场的表现持续异常，随之而来的系统性金融风险也日益加剧。但随着国家相关调控政策的一步步落实，房地产业正在走向理性和规范。为了保证房地产业的健康快速的发展，对房地产市场当前的风险进行研究显得尤为重要。而要降低房地产市场的风险，势必要建立由上到下对楼市的信心。从短期来看，可以适度放宽对房地产企业的金融支持，以弱化企业的资金流转影响；就长期而言，建立房地产业发展的长效机制，使得企业转向更稳健并可持续的新发展模式。

不同文化背景和社会情境可能会形成不同的技术认知,基于跨平台比较视角,采用动态主题模型等工具比较微博和Twitter中人工智能生成内容(AIGC)议题在发展趋势与传播结构上的差异,探讨促成这些差异的多维因素。研究发现:在微博中,用户更关注AIGC的经济和商业价值,侧重探讨新技术与经济发展的关系;在Twitter中,AIGC讨论与技术逻辑具有更紧密的联系,诸多文化界、产业界博主将技术对产业、伦理的影响和对未来的想象推到更重要的讨论位置。研究认为,由经济要素驱动的AIGC讨论机遇与风险并存,在关注AIGC经济价值的同时,也要警惕资本、市场对技术认知和技术发展的过度干预,防止技术背离“以人为本”的价值初衷。最后,宏观层面的语境也并非稳定不变,未来应当继续关注技术认知的结构性变化以及其将如何影响新技术发展等问题。

Phosphatidylserine improves axonal transport by inhibition of HDAC and has potential in treatment of neurodegenerative diseases

Familial dysautonomia （FD） is a rare children neurodegenerative disease caused due to a point mutation in the IKBKAP gene that results in decreased IKK complex-associated protein （IKAP） protein production. The disease affects mostly the dorsal root ganglion （DRG） and the sympathetic ganglion. Recently, we found that the molecular mechanisms underlying neurodegeneration in FD patients are defects in axonal transport of nerve growth factors and microtubule stability in the DRG. Neurons are highly polarized cells with very long axons. In order to survive and maintain proper function, neurons depend on transport of proteins and other cellular components from the neuronal body along the axons. We further demonstrated that IKAP is necessary for axon maintenance and showed that phosphatidylserine acts as an HDAC6 inhib- itor to rescue neuronal function in FD cells. In this review, we will highlight our latest research findings.

Ductile deformation and its geological implications for retrograded eclogites from the Hongqiyingzi Complex in Chicheng,northern Hebei,China

The rheology of rocks at depth remains a key point in earth sciences. Deformation of high-temperature–highpressure rocks from the subduction zone has not been fully studied; in particular, the deformation behavior of eclogites remains poorly understood. This research is focused on the microstructure and fabric of retrograded eclogites from the Hongqiyingzi Complex in Chicheng, north Hebei, China, based on photomicrography, scanning electron microscopy(SEM) and electron backscattered diffraction(EBSD) analysis. The analytical results show that plastic deformation occurred in the garnets during exhumation, but they do not show an obvious lattice preferred orientation(LPO). This can be interpreted as being caused by the simultaneous activation of multiple slip systems in the garnets during deformation by dislocation creep. The plagioclases have a special fabric; the(001) LPO presents a maximum in Z direction which can be correlated with a new [100](001) slip system. The misorientation angle distribution(MAD) of the plagioclases in the deformed retrograded garnet augens shows a special bimodal distribution with peaks in both a low-angle range(140?). In the retrograded garnet augens(i.e. "white eye socket" garnets) the maximum peak moves from a high-angle range to a low-angle range when we analyze only those plagioclases surrounding the residual garnet porphyroclast. Deformation behavior is controlled by the crystallographic orientation of the host grain and the grain boundary sliding process. Hornblendes in different layers and the retrograded garnet augens show almost the same strong LPO patterns, which are correlated with the [001](010) slip system; and MAD diagrams show a peak in a low-angle range(<40?). Integrating recent studies on metamorphism and geochronology, we argue that ductile deformation occurred during the exhumation periods together with retrograded metamorphism.

A Self-Adaptive Programming Mechanism for Reconfigurable Parsing and Processing

In this paper, we present a self-adaptive programming mechanism(SAP) that targets programming hardware devices of reconfigurable parsing and processing. The SAP programming system locates in software of network data plane and has three features:(1) programmable packet parsing: the packet header format can be customized and new header type can be added;(2) reconfigurable packet processing: the match fields to be handled in each match table can be specified;(3) function-adaptive control: any function control systems can determine the packet processing flow independently without the need of knowing the specifics of the underlying hardware. Finally, we implement a prototype on NetF PGA-10 G together with two representative function control systems(router and Open Flow switch) to demonstrate how SAP works. We believe the data plane of reconfigurable parsing and processing will lead to future switches that provide greater flexibility, and unlock the potential of network function innovation.

A Reconfigurable Hardware Architecture for Packet Processing

In this paper, we propose a reconfigurable packet processing hardware architecture for future switch,in which several protocol-independent action units are introduced to remove the protocol dependence of conventional packet processors. With the proposed architecture,any specified header fields can be mapped into the right action unit, so that the processor can meet any packet processing demands. To reduce the hardware resource cost,the processor cost model and optimization algorithm are proposed. The Net FPGA-based implementation shows a throughput of 94 Gb/s with 64-B packets. The programmability cost is approximately 1.5 times of conventional design, which consumes only 8% of the total FPGA resources.

采用有限元软件ABAQUS,以8度(0.2g)设防的地区为例,建立多层多跨的普通框架结构和底层自复位框架结构三维有限元模型。选取4条地震动,分别以0.07g、0.4g的峰值加速度输入结构,进行弹塑性时程分析,对比两个结构在地震作用下的动力响应及破坏模式。数值模拟结果表明:自复位框架结构的层间位移角与普通框架结构相近,均在规范限值内;罕遇地震作用下,损伤主要集中于底部两层的梁端。底层自复位结构的柱脚损伤小于普通框架结构,其残余位移角小于普通框架结构。
