Preparation of Different lights Irradiated ZnSe/GSH QDs and Their Interaction with BSA

Using L-glutathione(GSH) as a capping agent,Zn Se/GSH quantum dots(QDs) were prepared under microwave irradiation and irradiated under dark, ultraviolet light and incandescent light, respectively. The properties and interaction of different lights irradiated ZnSe/GSH QDs and bovine serum albumin(BSA) were studied systematically. The fluorescence(FL) spectra results reveal that the quenching mechanism are all the static quenching in nature. The quenching constant(Ksv) and binding constant(K) value of different irradiated Zn Se/GSH QDs and BSA all increased with the change of light types from dark to incandescent light and UV light. The number of binding site(n) is close to 1 at different temperatures. The lighting types influence the enthalpy and entropy changes. The Fourier transform infrared(FTIR) spectra indicate that the light induced GSH ligand will facilitate photocatalytic oxidation on the surface of ZnSe/GSH QDs. The circular dichroism(CD)results show that the α-helicity content of BSA decreases from 60.34%, 59.31%, to 58.79% under UV lighting,incandescent lighting and dark conditions. The interaction results of different lights illuminated ZnSe/GSH QDs with BSA by CD spectra method matches well with that by FL and FTIR spectra. That is, the interaction of ZnSe/GSH QDs and BSA from strong to weak is UV light, incandescent light and dark in sequence.

Chitosan(CS),hydrated zinc acetate,and rectorite(REC) were used as raw materials to prepare CS-embedded zinc oxide(ZnO) nanoparticle by a chemical precipitation ***-bonded REC-loaded ZnO-CS nanoparticle was to form ZnO-CS/REC nanocomposite photocatalyst,its morphology and structure were analyzed by means of FTIR,XRD,TGA,SEM,and *** effects of the catalyst dosage,methyl orange(MO) initial concentration and solution pH on photocatalytic performance were also *** experimental results show that the ZnO-CS/REC nanocomposite has a particle size of 100 nm with good dispersion and *** irradiation of visible light,0.6 g/L photocatalyst was used to degrade MO in solution for 90 min at pH 6,then the MO solution(10 mg/L) was decolored by more than 99%,indicating that the ZnO-CS/REC nanocomposite exhibited highly photocatalytic degradation ***,the photodegradation kinetic mechanism of MO in aqueous solution is presumed.

The nitrogen-doped carbon dots(N-CDs)were prepared by using coke powder as carbon source and one-step hydrothermal *** N-CDs were studied as a fluorescent chemosensor for determining Cr(Ⅵ)in *** selective,sensitive,reproducibility and stability of as-prepared N-CDs were *** morphology,composition and properties of N-CDs were characterized by a series of *** fluorescence quenching of N-CDs by Cr(Ⅵ)was *** experimental results reveal that the obtained N-CDs have great hydrophilicity and strong luminescence properties,which demonstrates the successful doping of nitrogen into the *** surface-active groups and emission wavelength range of CDs increase due to the electronegativity and electron donor effect of doping N ***,the N-CDs exhibit good photochemical properties for the detection of Cr(Ⅵ),including a wide linear range from 0.3 to 200μM(R^(2)=0.9935)and a low detection limit of 0.10μM at the signal-to-noise ratio of 3(S/N=3).Moreover,the N-CDs as a sensor was used successfully for Cr(Ⅵ)detection in real water samples with recovery rates of 99.9%-110.6%.This sensor also shows highly reproducibility and *** N-CDs fluorescent chemical sensor may be a potential candidate for applying in the field of other fluorescent chemical sensing,catalysis,photoelectric devices and other fields.

Synthesis of Agomelatine by One-pot Catalytic Hydrogenation and Acetylation with NiO

Nano-NiO and bulk NiO were prepared from Ni(AC)_2·4 H_2O by coordination precipitation using aqueous ammonia and by a solid state reaction, respectively. The nickel oxide particles were characterized by X-ray Diffraction(XRD) and scanning electron microscopy(SEM). The results indicate that nano-sized NiO has a crystal phase with a standard face-centered cubic lattice structure, with a mean particle diameter of about 10 nm. The evaluation of the activity of nickel oxide nanoparticles in the catalytic hydrogenation of 7-methoxy-1-naphthylacetonitrile was carried out. The results demonstrate the efficient synthesis of the title compound by a one-pot catalytic hydrogenation and acetylation with NiO. The NiO nanoparticles displayed superior catalytic activity in the synthesis of agomelatine in the one-pot *** total yield of agomelatine is over 81.8% with a purity of 99.2%, as determined by HPLC. The structure of agomelatine was confirmed by IR, MS, and 1 H NMR analysis.

Gd_(2)O_(3) nanoparticles modified g-C_(3)N_(4) with enhanced photocatalysis activity for degradation of organic pollutants

Gd_(2) O_(3) nanoparticles modified g-C_(3) N_(4) photocatalytic composites were synthesized by a simple one-step hydrothermal *** structure,morphology,optical properties of the prepared photocatalyst were characterized by X-ray diffraction(XRD),field emission scanning electron microscopy(FESEM),field emission transmission electron microscopy(FETEM) and X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy(XPS).The result demonstrates that gadolinium is mainly dispersed on the surface of g-C_(3) N_(4) in the form of Gd_(2) O_(3),and does not destroy the lattice structure of g-C_(3) N_(4).Besides,the gadolinium can cause the red shift of the absorption edge of light,narrow the band gap,and increase the separation efficiency of the photogenerated electron and hole of g-C_(3) N_(4).Especially,the specific surface area of g-C_(3) N_(4) can be significantly ***,g-C_(3) N_(4)/Gd-0.05 displays the highest photodegradation performance when it is used for degradation of methyl orange(MO),methylene blue(MB) and Rhodamine B(RhB).The photodegradation rate of g-C_(3) N_(4)/Gd-0.05 composites is 72.4% for MO,95.5% for RhB,100% for MB after120 min under visible light(λ> 420 nm) *** band gap promotes the separation of photogenerated electron and hole,which enhances the photocatalytic activity of g-C_(3) N_(4).It is noted that g-C_(3) N_(4)/Gd-0.05 exhibits excellent photocatalytic stability by the photocurrent and the cyclic photodegradation of MO.

PSO-LSSVM-based Online SOC Estimation for Simulation Substation Battery

As the emergency power supply for a simulation substation,lead-acid batteries have a work pattern featuring noncontinuous operation,which leads to capacity ***,the accurate estimation of battery state of charge(SOC),a measurement of the amount of energy available in a battery,remains a hard nut to crack because of the non-stationarity and randomness of battery capacity *** paper has proposed a comprehensive method for lead-acid battery SOC estimation,which may aid in maintaining a reasonable charging schedule in a simulation substation and improving battery’s *** on the battery work pattern,an improved Ampere-hour method is used to calculate the SOC during constant current and constant voltage(CC/CV)charging and *** addition,the combined Particle Swarm Optimization(PSO)and Least Squares Support Vector Machine(LSSVM)model is used to estimate the SOC during non-CC *** results show that this method is workable in online SOC estimation of working batteries in a simulation substaion,with the maximum relative error standing at only 2.1%during the non-training period,indicating a high precision and wide applicability.

Adsorption Application for Removal of Hazardous Chloroform from Aqueous Solution by Nanocomposites Rectorite/Chitosan Adsorbent

A novel nanocomposite bioadsorbent rectorite/chitosan was prepared by controlling different mass ratios of chitosan to rectorite using the water phase intercalation technique. The structure of the bioadsorbent was characterized by Fourier transform infrared (FT-IR) spectroscopy, X-ray diffraction (XRD) and scanning electron microscopy (SEM), Transmission electron microscopy (TEM), respectively. The results showed that the chitosan had been inserted into the rectorite layer successfully. The adsorption properties of the nanocomposite adsorbent toward CHCl3 from aqueous solution were investigated. Adsorption results showed that both nanocomposite adsorbents with weight ratio of rectorite to chitosan of 3:1 and 5:1 exhibited higher adsorption capacities.

Analysis of microstructure and performance of temper bead welded joints for SA508-3 steel by Quenching and Tempering mode

The HAZ microstructure and performance of Quenching and Tempering mode temper bead welding and general welded joints which were made on SA508-3 steel of 60 mm thickness were compared in this article. The result shows that tempering sorbite which has excellent overall performance was obtained in both modes. The microstructure of Quenching and Tempering mode welded joints got more fine grain. Even though the hardness of tempering bead welded joints is higher than the general one,it still meets the standards which is lower than 350 HV. The impact absorbing energy of each district of tempering bead welded joints HAZ reached 170 J,which is equal to general one.
